Birla Corporation Limited has been declared the 'Preferred Bidder' for the Tadas Limestone Block-II located in District Nagaur, Rajasthan. According to a notification dated July 10, 2025, issued by the Director of Mines & Geology, Government of Rajasthan, Birla Corporation secured the position with the highest final price offer of 63.50%. The limestone block spans an area of approximately 160.39 hectares, marking a significant addition to the company's raw material reserves. The official communication regarding the bid status was received by Birla Corporation at around 12:20 PM IST on July 10, 2025. The order, which Bosch received on July 2, 2025, pertains to disputes over the classification and duty benefits claimed on imports of specific components, including ECUs, Oxygen Nox sensors, and various other sensors. According to Bosch, the customs authorities raised the following key points in their order: Wrongful availment of duty benefits under Notification No. 50/2017-Cus for imports of 'Rot Speed Sensor', 'Knock Sensor', and 'Phase Sensor'. Incorrect classification of ECU, which should have been classified under a different tariff heading. Incorrect classification of 'Oxygen Nox Sensor', which should also have been classified under another heading. The total impact on Bosch amounts to ₹96.29 crore, combining the differential duty and penalty amounts. The company has not commented on whether it plans to challenge the order. Bosch emphasized that it has disclosed the matter in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI's Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. New Delhi: Nitin Agarwal has stepped down as chief executive officer and director of Globalbees Brands Pvt Ltd , a subsidiary of Brainbees Solutions Ltd (parent of FirstCry ), effective April 24, 2025, citing personal reasons.
