Rag'n'Bone Man performs sold-out show at Llangollen Pavilion
Headlining the latest TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion night, the triple BRIT Award and Ivor Novello Award winner kicked off a 90-minute set with last year's hit Lovers in a Past Life, before segueing perfectly into the multi-award winning Skin. Rag'n'Bone Man – aka Rory Graham – then introduced his brand-new song Time To Love, before treating the crowd to a hit-filled set including Anywhere Away From Here (performed with blues star Elles Bailey, who also served as the night's main support), All You Ever Wanted, Grace, Ghosts, and Rush of Blood. He closed the main set with his global smash Human, returning for an encore featuring Put A Little Hurt On Me and the anthemic Giant. RECOMMENDED READING: Opening the night was rapidly rising pop talent Kerr Mercer. Live at Llangollen Pavilion has already seen Texas perform on Thursday night, and it continues tonight (Saturday) with reggae icons UB40 ft. Ali Campbell set to headline. There will be 13 headline acts set to perform at the North Wales venue, with the other headliners including James, The Script, Olly Murs, and The Human League. The concert series coincides with the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, which begins on July 8. Llangollen Eisteddfod: The Script and Tom Walker
The Irish chart toppers were the first act to be announced to headline Live at Llangollen Pavilion in 2025 and will perform at the venue on Thursday, July 3. They will be joined on the night by very special guest Tom Walker. The Script – made up of Danny O'Donoghue (vocals), Glen Power (drums), Ben Sargeant (bass) and Ben Weaver (guitar) - first rose to fame in 2008 with the release of their self-titled debut album, which featured hit singles The Man Who Can't Be Moved and Breakeven. Since then, the band has enjoyed a hit-filled career including six number one albums. With their infectious energy, The Script present a memorable night of new music and fan-favourites, which is sure to be a hit as they make their Llangollen debut. Treasure hunters at Llangollen Pavilion win concert tickets
The event, held on Bank Holiday Monday, was the 'largest yet', with treasure hunters keen to find free tickets to the 'highly-anticipated' summer concerts at TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion and the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. Seventy-eight pairs of tickets were hidden around the Pavilion grounds to mark the 78th year of the was a record-breaking event (Image: Supplied) The event ran from 10am until noon and saw enthusiasts scouring the area for the coveted envelopes. John Gambles, chairman of the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, said: "This year's treasure hunt was our way of saying thank you to the local community for their incredible support. "We were thrilled to see so many people taking part and sharing in the of the lucky winners (Image: Supplied) "It's a fantastic way to kick off what promises to be a summer of unforgettable music and celebration." The Treasure Hunt event, designed to continue the buzz surrounding the upcoming Live at Llangollen Pavilion and the Llangollen International Eisteddfod events, gave lucky finders access to some of the biggest shows of the summer.
