Six 'limited edition' Scottish whiskies you can buy for less than £60
We have rounded up rare bottles that won't break the bank.
When it comes to buying whisky, the most important thing is that you choose what you enjoy. However, it can also be fun to collect a rare bottle that is hard to come by.
Often, limited-edition releases can fetch hundreds—if not thousands—of pounds. This does not need to be the case, though, and you can also pick up rare whiskies for a much more reasonable price.
Retailer The Whisky Shop stocks a large number of limited whiskies across a wide range of prices. The Daily Record has rounded up six of them that can be ordered for less than £60, as well as provided more information about the flavour profile of each one.
The Whisky Shop stated: "Limited editions are the apple of any whisky and spirit collector's eye. We are proud to offer runs of unusual cask finishes, limited bottlings and the chance to try lesser known distilleries, as well as the chance to try the big distilleries, such as The Macallan, Glenfiddich and The Dalmore, offering one-of-a-kind experimental runs that may never be repeated again."
