EastEnders fans fear character has secretly QUIT Walford after they haven't been seen on screen for FOUR months

EASTENDERS fans are worried one character has secretly quit after realising they have vanished from the soap. Viewers have spotted that Lexi Pearce has not been on screen since EastEnders ' 40th anniversary, which was four months ago. 4 4 Fans are now concerned that Isabella Brown, the young actress who plays Lexi, has left the show. Lexi is the daughter of Ben Mitchell and the late Lola Pearce and is approaching her 13th birthday in EastEnders. Die-hard soap fans are now wondering if Lexi will return "with a different head", as many of the child stars have over the years. Writing on Reddit, one EastEnders viewer said: "Anyone know what's happening with Lexi? She hasn't been seen since the 40th anniversary and was rather absent prior to that too. "Lexi is 13 next month. The same age as Lily was when she gave birth." They added: "With only 9 appearances this year I wouldn't be shocked to see her return with a new head." Replying, another fan agreed: "Looks wise the actress reminds me a lot of the old Amy Mitchell so I wonder if they'll recast her soon to someone more older/ older looking." A third chimed in: "I think as Lexi is nearly 13 she should be part of the friendship group with Tommy, Ricky, Denzel, Nugget, Avani , Amy, Lilly and Will. "Also they seem to have forgotten Amy, Ricky and Barney are her cousins so it's weird they hardly hang out and a while back they were developing a friendship between her and Amy too." And a fourth added: "I hope she doesn't get recast. She's a great actress and it's nice to see a realistic looking teenager. BBC EastEnders fans break down in tears at Lexi Mitchell's gesture to dying mum Lola Pearce "Most of the teens are played by adults and even the likes of Lily who is only 16 irl I feel always looked a bit older (which obviously isn't her fault, some teens do look older which is realistic but not literally all of them.)." This is not the first time fans have been left scratching their heads over Lexi's lack of on-screen appearances. In December last year, EastEnders viewers raised identical concerns following another long absence. It came after a huge storyline, which saw Lexi's mum Lola - played by Danielle Harold - tragically die from an untreatable brain tumour. Lexi's dad Ben - Max Bowden - then ended up in prison for fraud. Lexi did, however, return to the BBC One soap and featured in February's huge EastEnders 40th Anniversary Week. Isabella Brown's agent had previously confirmed that she would continue to play Lexi "throughout 2025". A post on EJC Management's Instagram in December said: "So very proud of this young lady! "Our incredible ISABELLA BROWN will continue to play the brilliant Lexi Pearce throughout 2025 in @bbceastenders ⭐️ "Isabella joined the square 6 years ago and seeing her grow as an actress is such a joy! Her dedication, drive, professionalism and work ethic is so inspiring from someone so young. "She has had some amazing storylines and we can't wait to see what 2025 has in store for Lexi!" 4 4

Patsy Kensit breaks silence on EastEnders role and begs for a soap return after confessing it was her ‘dream job'

ACTRESS Patsy Kensit has confessed she is desperate to return to EastEnders and has already begun thinking of ways her character could return. The TV and film legend stunned fans when it was revealed that she would be joining the cast of the BBC soap opera as the estranged mother of Lola Pearce. 4 4 Patsy played Emma Harding, who had a rocky relationship with her daughter but attempted to reconnect with her amid her harrowing terminal brain tumour battle. Now, in an interview with The Sun, Patsy has admitted she would love a soap comeback after revealing that EastEnders was her "dream job" and a career highlight. Speaking on the red carpet of this year's British Soap Awards, Patsy revealed: "Soap is something that I love and I loved my time at Emmerdale and my 4 years at Holby City but then I went into EastEnders. "EastEnders was actually my dream job, I've wanted to be in that show for years. "If I could throw a wish out there it would be that Emma could come back to see Lexi [her granddaughter]." Airing her thoughts on a possible return storyline, Patsy added: "There could be some conflict or tension and there are a million possibilities. "The writers are amazing at what they do and yeah I'm just putting it out there!" She continued: "Everyone is at the top of their game [on EastEnders]. "They are the hardest working people in the business and everyday I learned something and so had to embrace the opportunity." Emma arrived in Albert Square when she was tracked down by Phil Mitchell ahead of Lola's then-impending wedding to Jay. EastEnders star Tameka Empson breaks silence on 'intense' Celebrity Traitors Although Emma initially turned down the chance of a re-connection, she eventually learned of her daughter's shock diagnosis after seeing it in one of Lola's many vlogs. It saw her check-in on her daughter from afar, including donating money anonymously. Emma later confessed all to Billy Mitchell in which she admitted she was forced to flee from Lola's life after suffering horrific abuse at the hands of Lola's father - including being scolded with boiling water. Whilst Lola and Emma eventually reconnected in brief, they were left fragile and Emma was not around as her daughter passed away. She was last seen as she quietly attended the funeral before slipping away once again. So could Emma make a much-wanted comeback two years on to attempt to build a bond with Lexi? The British Soap Awards air on ITV tonight at 8pm. 4 4

EastEnders fans shocked as unexpected item miraculously survives the fire

Fans of EastEnders have been left taken aback by an item in the Queen Vic that amazingly survived the explosion. In February, as part of the show's 40th anniversary celebrations, the Queen Vic caught fire and exploded. It put multiple lives in danger, and also led to the deaths of Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) and Martin Fowler (James Bye). The boozer was shut for around two months for refurbishments, opening last week on VE Day. The interior looks very similar to what it did previously, bar a few adjustments and updates. A lot of miscellaneous items though were damaged in the explosion, meaning they had to be replaced. Amazingly, eagle-eyed fans have noticed one framed photograph survived the ordeal and is now pride of place on the shelf behind the bar. It's the picture of Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold), who died after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. Taking to social media platform X to share their surprise, some fans of the BBC One soap couldn't help but think it was time for the picture to be taken down. Others also said the photograph should be replaced with one of Martin, but given how loved Lola was among the Walford residents, it's no surprise the image is still being displayed. 'Bbceastenders replace lola's photo with martin immediately! #EastEnders', one user wrote. Also expressing their thoughts on the item, this person said: 'They put back Lola's picture in The Vic but I can't see Peggy's'. The loss of a resident in Albert Square usually prompts the pub to hang a picture up of them. This has been done plenty of times in the past with names including Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and of course, Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor). Lola Pearce received her brain tumour diagnosis in 2022, and told her family in March the following year that she only had around six months left to live. More Trending The storyline focused on Lola as she embraced every single moment she had left with her family. She married Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick), went to the seaside for her final trip with him, and spent time recording video messages for daughter Lexi (Isabella Brown), that she views at key points in her life, like her birthday. Lola died in May of 2023, with Lexi and Jay by her side. View More »
