Lola Young puts on a VERY racy display in an underboob-flashing monokini before Glastonbury set - after Lorde sent fans into a frenzy by stripping off during surprise show
Lola Young put on a very racy display as she posed in the back of a motor on her way to perform at Glastonbury. Donning a short red skirt and an incredibly skimpy zebra-coloured monokini, the British singer, 24, sent supporters into a frenzy with the slew of snaps. Flashing underboob with the look, Lola pouted for the series of photos. She also sent temperatures soaring from beneath the camera, showing off her enviable curves while perched in the back of her tour bus. Lola captioned the sexy slew: ' coachella saw me (almost) throw up.. @glastofest what are you gonna get?' Lola is scheduled to hit the Woodsies stage at 4.30pm, just hours after Lorde sent Glastonbury-goers wild with a surprise set on the same stage. The performance came on the same day the New Zealander, 28, dropped supporters jaws after unveiling the cover of her new vinyl. Thousands of fans flocked to the Woodsies stage after rumours of a set from the Royals hitmaker spread around Worthy Farm. Such was the excitement that bosses announced the stage had temporarily closed due to overcrowding shortly before her set began. The singer - who previously graced The Pyramid stage in 2022 - performed all of her biggest hits from Ribs to Green Light, as well as a rendition of her new album. Wearing her jet black hair down, the 28-year-old sported an all-white look for the occasion consisting of a pair of straight leg jeans and a plain T-shirt. While belting out her lyrics, Lorde put her abs on full display as she lifted her T-shirt up to reveal her bra. She later stripped out of the T-shirt, laying bare her impressive figure and sending thousands of supporters wild. 'Moooorning', she greeted the crowd, 'this is sick'. And it seems her performance didn't disappoint, with a host of festival-goers taking to X to praise the popstar. Supporters described the show as 'out of this world', 'utterly euphoric' and 'brilliant'. Friday at the famous old festival will also see Lola Young, Loyle Carner, PinkPantheress and a host of other artists take to the stage before The 1975 close out the night on the Pyramid stage. Lorde's surprise set - which saw her perform a host of tunes from her new album Virgin - comes on the same day she left fans in shock after revealing the cover of her new vinyl. The singer had already raised eyebrows with the project's main artwork, which features an x-ray of her pelvis - inter-uterine device included. The show came on the same day the New Zealand singer dropped supporters jaws after unveiling the cover of her new vinyl However, the vinyl for Virgin - Lorde's fourth studio album and first since 2021's Solar Power - is even more explicit and features what appears to be her genitals beneath a pair of see-through plastic pants. Taking to social media to express their shock, some fans worried about their family members potentially seeing the NSFW cover. They shared on X/ Twitter: 'So the new Lorde vinyl just got delivered. I was not prepared for the insert'; 'lorde really got her cat out like that on her vinyl huh?'; 'My Lorde vinyl is getting delivered to my parent's house I'm scared [sic].' Others added: 'when you open your Virgin vinyl and see lordussy'; 'should've stayed curious abt the lorde vinyl'. However, not everyone was so critical of the vinyl's artwork and others described it as 'beautiful' and far from being shocking. 'A lot of you are being very weird about the lorde vinyl cover… who tf cares if her lordeussy was out. It's just a body.'; 'Wait... Is this the new album art from Lorde that everyone is talking about? It's a beautiful photo, and the entire vinyl package is, too, but come on, it barely shows anything. No need for all the discourse. 90's Madonna would kill you all [sic].' Others said that the reaction to the vinyl was so extreme that they expected it to be a lot more explicit than it actually is. 'I really thought the lorde vinyl insert would be a lot worse than people are saying it is, you guys are kinda dramatic.' The new album features several singles, including Man of the Year, which has already proven to be a viral hit. Lorde described her latest album as 'gender broadening' and said it was inspired by her own 'coming into masculinity'. The star, who uses she/her pronouns, told Rolling Stone that she is 'in the middle, gender-wise'. Elaborating further to fellow singer Chappell Roan, Lorde said of her gender: 'I'm a woman except for the days when I'm a man.' Lorde previously shocked fans when she debuted her new album artwork and its sexually suggestive title. The jaw-dropping cover was an X-ray of what appeared to be her pelvic area, with her hip bones, belt buckle, and zipper visible. But it was one particular detail in the X-ray that got fans talking - a T-shaped object that appeared to be an IUD (intrauterine device), a type of birth control that is placed in the uterus. On her website, she claimed the album was written '100%' in blood. The singer had already raised eyebrows with her latest album's main artwork, which features an x-ray of her pelvis - inter-uterine device included Lorde said she was both 'proud and scared' of the upcoming project in an email sent to fans. 'The colour of the album is clear. Like bathwater, windows, ice, spit. Full transparency. 'The language is plain and unsentimental. The sounds are the same wherever possible. 'I was trying to see myself, all the way through. I was trying to make a document that reflected my femininity: raw, primal, innocent, elegant, openhearted, spiritual, masc. 'I'm proud and scared of this album. There's nowhere to hide. I believe the putting the deepest parts of ourselves to music is what sets us free.' Lorde is one of the highest-selling New Zealand singers of all time and her 2013 song Royals reached number one in America, eventually being certified 14 times platinum.

Glastonbury chaos as bosses are forced to SHUT part of festival as Lorde performs surprise set
Bosses issued a warning for other acts too LORDE LOCKOUT Glastonbury chaos as bosses are forced to SHUT part of festival as Lorde performs surprise set GLASTONBURY descended into chaos as organisers were forced to shut down part of the site during a surprise performance by pop star Lorde. Crowds rushed to the Woodsies tent after word spread about the secret set — but the surge quickly overwhelmed the space. 4 Lorde performed her secret set at Glastonbury today Credit: Getty 4 Thousands swarmed the Woodsies stage with organisers closing access to the tent Credit: Getty Festival goers were pushed out of the tent where Lorde performed. A source told the Mirror: 'It's sweltering inside the tent given the amount of people crammed inside. 'Bosses are urging people to stand up off the floor to make room. 'Some people are leaving as it's so intense.' The source added: 'Bosses have now shut down Woodsies as crowds are so big with a festival-wide message saying: 'Woodies is now full'.' The disruption came shortly after Glastonbury bosses revealed the acts expected to draw the biggest crowds today. As well as Lorde at Woodsies, Lola Young, Blossoms, Pink Pantheress, Rudimental and Fatboy Slim are expected to draw the biggest crowds. Festival officials issued a warning: 'There will be large crowds at the Pyramid, Other, West Holts and Park Stages too – with plenty of space to accommodate them. 'This evening, Arcadia will be busy. The one way system in the South East Corner is also likely to come into play. 'We expect that there will be one in, one out queues on some of our tented venues, and on occasion it may be necessary to divert you around some areas when they are at capacity. Please listen to stewards and be patient with them.' Lorde Teases Secret Glastonbury Set Amid New Album Release They added: 'When leaving our bigger arenas and venues, please remember there are lots of you. If you take your time the crowds will thin out and you'll get out more easily. 'And when heading to stages remember, we have a lot of alternative routes to places, the shortest route will often not be the quickest.' Social media quickly lit up with complaints directed at the official Glasto account on X/Twitter. One user posted: 'This #Glastonbury opening ceremony is embarrassing as f***,' while another asked: 'Is there meant to be no sound at the #Glastonbury2025 opening ceremony? Local regs? Crowds a bit restless at the back #Glastonbury.' This year's festival runs from June 25 to June 29, with a stacked line-up including US rapper Doechii, British singer Raye, and legendary performer Sir Rod Stewart, who takes on the iconic legends slot. Glastonbury bosses close off area and issue warning as Lorde surprises festival
Glastonbury bosses have been forced to shut down part of the festival as crowds descend on a tent. Festival goers have rushed to catch pop star Lorde's secret set, but it proved too much for the festival planners. A source told the Mirror: "It's sweltering inside the tent given the amount of people crammed inside. Bosses are urging people to stand up off the floor to make room. Some people are leaving as it's so intense." However, as the crowd spilled outside the tent, the source added: "Bosses have now shut down Woodsies as crowds are so big with a festival-wide message saying: 'Woodies is now full'." It comes just after Glastonbury bosses unveiled acts they expect will draw the biggest crowds for today. Last year, the festival suffered massive overcrowding issues as fans rushed to see their favourite acts. Festival bosses use data from the Glastonbury app which says what acts fans are going to see - meaning the info is accurate. The biggest crowds will includes Lorde at Woodsies as well as Lola Young, Blossoms and Pink Pantheress. They are also expecting big crowds at Rudimental and Fatboy Slim at Lonely Hearts, Maribou State on West Holts, Fratellis on Avalon and Example in Shangri-La. Bosses warn: 'There will be large crowds at the Pyramid, Other, West Holts and Park Stages too – with plenty of space to accommodate them. 'This evening, Arcadia will be busy. The one way system in the South East Corner is also likely to come into expect that there will be one in, one out queues on some of our tented venues, and on occasion it may be necessary to divert you around some areas when they are at capacity. Lola Young Announces New Album ‘I'm Only F–king Myself': Here's When It Arrives
Lola Young only has 'One Thing' on her mind: The British songwriter's third full-length album is officially on its way. Young will release I'm Only F–king Myself on Sept. 19, following a huge 18 months that have put the Londoner on the map as a main pop girl. The forthcoming record was written with her production team and band: Connor Dickinson, Will Brown and Jared Solomon (also known as Solomonophonic). On her Instagram, Young wrote, 'My ode to self sabotage, my chance to claw myself back from the edge of defeat.' More from Billboard Here's How to Enter Submissions for AIM's 2025 Independent Music Awards Sabrina Carpenter Says She's Considered Banning Phones at Her Concerts Miley Cyrus' Magnifique Mash-Up of 'The Climb' & 'We Can't Stop,' Plus More Highlights Inside Paris Spotify Concert The announcement comes after the 24-year-old confirmed earlier this week that her next single, 'Not Like That Anymore,' will land Friday (June 20). The breakthrough star has enjoyed a jam-packed few weeks of promo, opening up for Billie Eilish at the Paris dates of her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour as well as appearing at London's Wembley Stadium for the Capital FM Summertime Ball. In May, Young released I'm Only F–king Myself's bubbly lead single 'One Thing.' The track peaked at No. 19 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, marking her second top 20 to date, following the stratospheric success of 2024's 'Messy.' The latter enjoyed a slow-burn rise to the summit of the U.K. charts, hitting No. 1 in January – eight months after it was initially released. The song stayed there for four weeks and also reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. It has been streamed more than 600 million times on Spotify to date, leading to Young securing slots at the likes of Coachella and Glastonbury. Young scooped the rising star accolade at this year's Ivor Novello awards following her best pop act nomination at this year's BRIT Awards. She is scheduled to perform at festivals across the U.K. and Europe throughout the summer, including Reading & Leeds in August. In 2024, Young unveiled This Wasn't Meant for You Anyway. The LP followed her debut project My Mind Wanders And Sometimes Leaves Completely, which arrived the year prior.
