Adani Group brand value zooms 82% to $6.46bn
The Adani Group has emerged as the fastest-growing Indian brand this year, with its brand value up by 82 per cent, according to a new report. The Group's growth is attributed to aggressive and integrated infrastructure focus, surge in green energy ambitions, and increased brand equity across key stakeholders, said the 'Most Valuable Indian Brands 2025' report by London-based Brand Finance. The value of the Adani brand surged from $3.55 billion in 2024 to $6.46 billion, marking a substantial gain of $2.91 billion -- a testament to the Group's strategic clarity, resilience and commitment to sustainable growth. The increase in value this year is greater than the entire brand valuation reported in 2023, helping the Adani Group climb to rank 13 from 16 last year, according to the report. The company has seen record-breaking revenue, unprecedented growth and historic profitability. Addressing the 33rdAnnual General Meeting (AGM) of Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) this week, Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, said: 'In FY25, our numbers were strong. Across all our sectors, we did more than just scale. We created impact, inspired change, and most importantly, deepened our national commitment'. In terms of consolidated numbers, at the Group level, revenues grew by 7 per cent, EBITDA by 8.2 per cent, and Net Debt-to-EBITDA ratio remained healthy at 2.6x. Total revenues were Rs 2,71,664 crore, and adjusted EBITDA was Rs89,806 crore. 'Our capital investment across businesses is set to break all records. We anticipate an annual capex spend of $15-20 billion for the next five years. These are not just investments in our Group, but investments in the possibilities for doing our part to build India's infrastructure,' said Gautam Adani. Adani Power crossed 100 billion units of generation -- a scale never before matched by any private sector company. It is now well on track to reach 31 GW capacity by 2030. Meanwhile, showcasing a resilient economy amid robust policies, the collective brand value of the top-100 Indian companies reached $236.5 billion in 2025 to date. The Brand Finance ranking report results remained stable, reflecting a year of steady gains for major Indian brands across sectors.

Nothing plans to expand service coverage in India by 10% for Phone (3) launch
Nothing is planning to expand its service centre coverage in India by 10% for the Nothing Phone (3) launch. The London-based technology company is aiming to increase its service coverage here by another 10% before the end of this year. This move is part of the company's broader strategy to strengthen its presence and customer care in the country. Nothing currently operates over 330 service centres across India, which include five exclusive centres located in Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The company also maintains 20 priority desks. Akis Evangelidis, Nothing's co-founder and India head, recently expressed satisfaction with the exclusive service centre experience in Bangalore, noting that "98% of issues resolved in under 2 hours, with 97%+ customer satisfaction." He also confirmed plans to add 10 more priority desks by the end of the year. This focus on local production and expanded service is a strategic effort to enhance efficiency, shorten lead times, and respond more quickly to market demand. In a post shared on social media platform X (earlier Twitter), Evangelidis wrote: 'Dropped by our exclusive service center in Bangalore where 98% of issues resolved in under 2 hours, with 97%+ customer satisfaction. Huge shoutout to the team for the hard work and appreciate the warm welcome. Out On Morning Walk, 43-Yr-Old Man Killed In Front Of Daughter
New Delhi: A 43-year-old man was shot dead while his daughter was injured when armed men on a bike fired several shots at the duo on their morning walk on Friday in northwest Delhi's Bawana. The deceased was identified as Deepak Kumar. Police claimed that the murder was a fallout of a gang war, and UK-based gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu was behind the killing. Kumar was allegedly shot eight times from close range near the fields adjoining his farmhouse. Sources said that he was the nephew of underworld don Manjeet Mahal, and the murder might be linked to a long-standing feud between Mahal and London-based Nandu. "Kapil Sangwan suspected Kumar was actively working for Mahal and thus ordered the hit," alleged a police source. The two gangsters have been at odds for years, resulting in the deaths of over a dozen people. His daughter was also injured in her hand and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. "The shooters appeared to have conducted a reconnaissance and were well aware of Kumar's routine. They likely knew he stepped out each morning for walks and waited for the right moment to strike," a police officer commented. The attackers fled immediately after the shooting, which occurred just a few metres from Kumar's residence. The deceased was reportedly involved in trading and other business activities. Sources said he was the nephew of jailed gangster t Mahal, a name long associated with violent gang rivalries in Delhi and Haryana. Police suspect that the murder was ordered by UK-based Nandu, who has an Interpol Red Corner Notice against him. Earlier this year, he was also linked to the killing of a builder in Paschim Vihar. Police teams are poring through CCTV footage of the area in an effort to identify and trace the assailants.
