Man in his 20s is dead after car ploughs into London pub in early morning crash: Two arrested
A man in his 20s has died and two men have been arrested after a car ploughed into a pub in the early hours of this morning. Police and medic crews rushed to the Albert Bow pub in Tower Hamlets, east London, at around 1.25am today after a car smashed into the building when it came off the nearby carriageway. The driver of the car and another passenger, both of whom are in their 20s, did not suffer life threatening or life-changing injuries. They were both taken to hospital and have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after another passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: 'At around 1.25am on Sunday, 20 July, police and London Ambulance Service attended to a report of a road traffic collision in Bow. 'A car left the carriageway and collided with a building at the junction of Roman Road and St Stephen's Road. 'One of the passengers in the car was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. 'The driver of the car and another passenger – two men in their twenties – suffered injuries which have been confirmed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing. 'They have both been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. 'A crime scene remains in the area whilst specialist officers complete their enquires, which are ongoing. 'Please call police on 101 with the reference 615/20Jul if you were a witness or have any footage including dashcam.' A London Ambulance spokesperson added: 'We were called at 1:35am today (20 July) to reports of a road traffic collision on St Stephen's Road, Bow. 'We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer, members of our hazardous area response team (HART) and London's Air Ambulance. 'Our crews treated three people.

Chingford stabbing: Man killed in knife attack
A man has been discovered fatally stabbed on a street in east 26-year-old, who has not been named, was found in Chingford Mount Road after police on patrol were notified by members of the public of a stabbing at about 21:00 BST on gave the man first aid and the London Air Ambulance and the London Ambulance Service also attended, but he died at the Metropolitan Police said no arrests had been made and a crime scene and road closures would be in place while officers investigated. Chelsea Embankment multi-vehicle crash injures five with three rushed to hospital
Five people have been injured in a crash on the Chelsea Embankment in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, July 1). Three people were rushed to hospital following the incident. Chelsea Embankment has reopened after being closed in a westbound direction for around nine hours from Tite Street to the B302 Royal Hospital Road, according to AA Traffic News. Ambulance crews rushed to the scene of the crash on Chelsea Embankment at around 1.20am this morning. One person was rushed to a major trauma centre, while two others were taken to a local hospital. Two others were also treated at the scene. A car has this morning crashed into a central London landmark, causing streets to be closed off streets with two people rushed to hospital with injuries. Police and paramedics blue-lighted to a Piccadilly Circus roundabout at around 5.25am where a car had flipped near a fountain. Photos show police tape sealing off roads and the scene where the heavily damaged vehicle is seen on its roof. London Ambulance paramedics arrived within minutes of receiving a 999 call, with one person being rushed to a major trauma centre. Another person has been taken to a local hospital. One witness said the car had seemed to have 'driven straight into the fountain'. Writing on X, they said: 'Roads leading to and away from it seem to be closed off by tape. 'Biggest roundabout in London closed off on a weekend, what a day.' A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: 'We were called at 5.25am today (29 June) to reports of a road traffic collision on Piccadilly, W1J. 'We sent a number of resources, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and members of our hazardous area response team (HART). We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London's Air Ambulance. 'Our first paramedic arrived on scene in less than four minutes. 'We treated two people. We took one patient to a major trauma centre and the other patient to a local hospital.'

Police issue statement after woman hit by bus on Oxford Street
Police have issued a statement after a woman was hit by a bus on Oxford Street, leaving her in hospital. Officers were called to the road outside Bond Street station around 6.45pm yesterday (May 31). The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. Her condition is not yet known. An air ambulance also landed nearby, drawing the attention of many onlookers in the busy shopping area. There have been no arrests but police enquiries into the incident are ongoing. A Met Police spokesperson said: 'On Saturday, 31 May police were called to Bond Street, at 18:44hrs following reports of a road traffic collision between a bus and pedestrian. 'Met officers attended the scene alongside paramedics who treated a woman on scene before taking her to hospital. 'We await an update on the woman's condition. 'There were no arrests, and enquiries into the circumstances remain on-going.' A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: 'We were called at 6.42pm (31 May) to reports of a road traffic collision near Bond Street Station, W1C. 'We sent multiple resources to the scene, including a paramedic in a fast response car, an ambulance crew and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance. 'We treated a patient at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.'
