The actor's first look has also been revealed. The film is slated to release on Christmas 2026. Mahavatar is produced by Dinesh Vijan and will be directed by Amar Kaushik, the filmmaker behind Stree 2. Vicky's next after Love & War is an epic feature film that would see him play the part of Lord Parshuram. Vicky jumped to the idea of the film and signed it without any second thoughts," the source said. 'The pre-production work for Parshuram begins in January and the makers are committed to taking the film on floors in November next year. It's the most ambitious film at Maddock and they plan to bring it to the cinema-going audience with utmost pride. An official announcement will be made soon," the insider added. Vicky has been taking up an interesting mix of projects. Last year, he was seen in an intense Sam Bahadur, only to shift gears and play a comedy role in Bad Newz. He will now be seen in Chhava. The film, another Dinesh Vijan production, will see Vicky play the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji. The film is slated to release this December but reports suggest, it could be postponed. Aamir Khan is set for the release of his film 'Sitaare Zameen Par' as it will hit the screens on Friday, June 20. Aamir is back on screen after a while. He was last seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. The actor held a special screening of the film for his family and friends from the industry. One saw Aamir dressed in a white sherwani. He was accompanied by girlfriend Gauri Spratt who looked gorgeous in a saree. Aamir sweetly called her to pose for the paps and was seen holding her hands. They made a stunning pair who seemed very much in love. Aamir and Kiran Rao's son Azad was also seen posing with him and Gauri. Aamir's daughter Ira Khan came with husband Nupur Shikhare. The highlight of the evening was Rekha arriving for the screening. The legendary actress looked stunning in a checkered golden kanjivaram saree which is her signature style. She cheered for Aamir as she posed with him while he was elated. Their bonding was a delight to see. Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff also arrived for the screening. Rajkumar Santoshi who is directed 'Lahore 1947' starring Sunny Deol and produced by Aamir was also seen at the screening.
