Is Ariana Madix Leaving ‘Love Island USA'?

Love Island has been known to shake things up with bombshells, recouplings, and surprise dates, but one thing that the dating show isn't changing right now is the host. Despite what you may have heard about Love Island USA getting a new host, Ariana Madix says she will be back to host Love Island USA season 8. And I, for one, could not be more relieved. The Vanderpump Rules alum casually put any rumors to rest on Sunday, July 13. Ariana dropped the news after a fan commented on a TikTok video predicting that Love Island USA had plans to 'replace' her for season 8. 'I'm not leaving,' she responded. 'I'll see you guys really soon.' And by 'soon,' she means way before Love Island USA returns for season 8 in 2026. Not only is Ariana co-hosting the Love Island USA season 7 reunion—set to air August 25 on Peacock—she's also been tapped to host Love Island Games season 2, taking over from previous host Maya Jama. Love Island Games features fan-favorite contestants from previous seasons—including USA, UK, and Australian versions of the show. According to the official description, the show asks them to compete in challenges 'while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling, dramatic arrivals, and new competition twists and turns that help control the game like never before.' Season 2 will premiere September 16 on Peacock. Hopefully, hosting this season of Love Island Games won't be quite as stressful as Love Island USA. After all, it's not every season two contestants are asked to leave the Villa due to racism. 'It's been a really tough season for a lot of reasons,' Ariana said during an interview with Maura Higgins on Love Island USA: Aftersun. 'There's been a lot of stuff that's just been crazy. I just want them to much I genuinely really love and appreciate them for putting themselves out there.'

Maya posted a flaming heart emoji in the comment section and shared the gas station snap to her own Instagram Stories, adding: "When in Florida," along with a laughing emoji. It comes as it was revealed Maya won't be hosting the new season of Love Island Games as Peacock confirmed Love Island US presenter Ariana Madix would be replacing her as host. ‌ "Peacock announce Love Island Games season 2 premieres September 16th, this time with Ariana Madix as host," bosses announced. "It'll see all-star islanders from the UK, USA & Australia return for another game of love." It fuelled rumours the star could be leaving the franchise but bosses denied the reports and recently said: "We are very much committed to Maya, who is a brilliant Love Island host, and we have no plans for a presenter change." ‌ Meanwhile, the star could soon be adding another major project to her packed schedule, as she's reportedly in discussions with Prime Video to front a brand-new entertainment series focused on family connections. The 30-year-old is said to be in talks for what could be a lucrative deal with the streaming giant. A source previously told The Sun: "Maya is absolutely red-hot right now and she's been able to really diversify when it comes to projects." "The latest discussions have been with Prime Video over an entertainment show," they continued. ‌ "Amazon's streamer has made strong moves into reality with Clarkson's Farm and Molly Mae's series but so far haven't explored shiny-floor, entertainment programming, so Maya would be part of that. "The show, which is exploring family connections, might not be the project they press ahead with for Maya but the interest to work with her is there."

Maya Jama fuels rumours she's QUITTING Love Island as she abruptly leaves spin-off show

Maya Jama has fueled rumours she will QUIT Love Island after being replaced on its international spin-off show. The presenter and DJ, 30, hosted the very first series of Love Island Games in 2023 - a brand new sister show to the regular version. It saw nine former stars from the UK edition fly out to Fiji to compete with international Islanders, though the aim was still to find love. Bosses have confirmed the format will return for a second series, but without Maya at the helm. They confirmed Ariana Madix, who became the host of Love Island USA last year, will take her place as presenter. It comes after Ariana, 40, previously stepped in to anchor the show for Maya on two occasions during the first series. Announcing the second instalment, bosses said: 'Peacock announce Love Island Games season 2 premieres September 16th, this time with Ariana Madix as host. 'It'll see all-star islanders from the UK, USA & Australia return for another game of love.' Maya's departure from the spin-off has further fueled rumours she will quit the Love Island franchise altogether. A source close to her previously told how she was planning to 'leave on a high' and quit the dating show at the end of the current series. The insider told The Sun: 'Maya adores hosting Love Island and thinks it's a great fit for now. But she's keen to leave on a high and keep her career moving forward on the right tracks. She is incredibly ambitious and would like to keep focusing on primetime presenting opportunities. 'She also has hopes of working in America and doesn't want to be tied down. She has been building up her skills as a presenter and is very much part of the Love Island family.' The insider added: 'She also has the unique perspective of having appeared herself as a contestant. She's just also had a successful stint on I'm A Celeb so the world is her oyster now.' ITV previously denied the reports, with a spokesperson telling MailOnline: 'We are very much committed to Maya, who is a brilliant Love Island host, and we have no plans for a presenter change.' Announcing the second instalment, bosses said: 'Peacock announce Love Island Games season 2 premieres September 16th, this time with Ariana Madix as host' It comes after it was revealed Maya has become a multi-millionaire following the success of her TV career and business ventures. The TV presenter has published accounts for her business MIJ & Co Entertainment which show assets in the company have increased to £1.83million from £1.37million. The star appears to have doubled her earnings as she has cash worth £1.3million in the account over the last three months but had £618,774 the previous year. Maya landed the full time role as Love Island's number one presenter when Laura Whitmore stood down.

It's not the first time Ariana has hosted the show, having previously filled in for Maya for two episodes last series. A new announcement read: "Peacock announce Love Island Games season 2 premieres September 16th, this time with Ariana Madix as host. "It'll see all-star islanders from the UK, USA & Australia return for another game of love." Maya already has her hands full with Love Island UK and last year hosted Love Island All Stars. However The Sun revealed in April that she has set up her own media firm, in the surest sign yet she'll be leaving Love Island when her contract lapses after this summer's series. The ITV host, who also presents The Masked Singer, has lodged paperwork for a new company called MIJ Productions - just weeks before the new series kicked off. Maya signs up to host Love Island on a rolling annual basis so will be making a decision for 2026 in the next few months. But all signs suggest she's considering a life after Love Island. The new filings with Companies House place MIJ Productions within the media and advertising agencies category and names Maya's close friend Issy Lloyd as her business partner on the new venture. Love Island bosses accused of giving contestant the mean girl edit It comes after she launched a new plant milk, Sproud, and worked as a producer on a West End play called Shifters. She told The Sun last summer that she would love to get behind the camera on Love Island one day. Maya said: 'I am a fan of the show and have grown up on reality TV so maybe one day, never say never. 'In my mind I am like what do you next after TV. I'll work it out. 'I feel like I need to set new goals because I have been so fortunate that all my childhood goals have been achieved now before I am 30. 'Do I have an input [now]? No, because if I did I would get producer credits. 'If I could I would but that's not my job title… yet. 'I am a fan of the show and have grown up on reality TV so maybe one day, never say never." Several UK stars from past Love Island series participated in Love Island Games in 2023 - including Curtis Pritchard, Georgia Steel, Megan Barton Hanson, Liberty Poole, Scott Van-der-sluis, Jack Fowler, and Toby Aromolaran. While other international Love Island stars also joined them in Fiji for the competition, won by Justine Ndiba and Jack Fowler.
