BTS members attend Jin's first solo concert in South Korea

Some of the members of BTS showed their full support for Jin's first-ever solo concert in South Korea! On Instagram, J-Hope, V, and RM all took to social media to share photos and videos taken from their fellow BTS member's concert dubbed 'RunSeokjin Ep. Tour.' Jin performed songs spanning his entire career, from his iconic 'Epiphany' from BTS' 2018 album 'Love Yourself: Answer' to 'Don't Say You Love Me' from his latest solo album 'Echo.' He also sang self-written songs like 'Abyss' and 'Super Tuna' and BTS songs like 'Dynamite' and 'Butter.' Earlier in June, BTS formally announced the upcoming military discharge of Suga, the final member of the K-pop group to be discharged. RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were discharged this month. The seven members were all spotted during J-Hope's Hope on the Stage final concert in Seoul, South Korea, on June 13, which was also BTS' 12th anniversary. —Hermes Joy Tunac/KG, GMA Integrated News

Jimin of BTS amassed 300 million streams on Spotify with his solo single 'Serendipity' as of last week. It is his seventh solo endeavor to reach the milestone. The single topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 80 regions and earned gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. Before unveiling the full-length single, an intro version of the R&B serenade was included in the band's fifth EP 'Love Yourself: Her,' released in 2017. BTS adds another 500 million-stream hit on Spotify with ‘Idol'

BTS has added another 500 million-stream song to its discography on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. According to Spotify's chart on Tuesday, 'Idol,' the main track from BTS' 2018 repackaged album "Love Yourself: Answer," became the group's 15th track to reach the 500 million-stream milestone. 'Idol' is a vibrant track that blends South African Kwaito music with traditional Korean rhythms and chants, layered over EDM and trap grooves. Upon release, the song gained global popularity, debuting at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 21 on the UK Official Singles Chart. In 2022, it was certified Platinum in the streaming category by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. A song must accumulate at least 100 million streams to be certified Platinum. Meanwhile, the alternate version of the track, 'Idol (Feat. Nicki Minaj),' is also approaching a major milestone, with nearly 190 million streams on Spotify to date.
