Pregnant Shaughna Phillips admits she's been an 'anxious wreck' and hints at her due date after confirming she is expecting second child with jailed boyfriend Billy Webb
Shaughna Phillips revealed she was an 'anxious wreck' at the beginning of her second pregnancy after grappling with health anxieties. The Love Island star, 31, confirmed she was expecting her second child with her jailed boyfriend Billy Webb earlier this week. They already share daughter Lucia, two. Speaking to The Mirror on Thursday, Shaughna revealed she got pregnant the very first time her ovulation period had coincided with jailed Billy visiting her at home. Now, Shaughna has opened up about the difficulties in the first few weeks of her pregnancy in a series of 'diaries' shared to Instagram on Friday. The TV personality recorded the video when she was 'five and a bit weeks pregnant' and detailed her 'health anxiety' as she shared her fears. She also revealed she is due to welcome her second child in November and told how she was 'trying' to conceive with Billy when she fell pregnant. In the video, Shaughna said: 'I've got an early scan booked for the 24th of March. I'll be about seven weeks then, which is still like two weeks away. 'I don't understand how I'm gonna survive until then, because I just need to know everything's okay. 'I have health anxiety, I had crippling postpartum anxiety, which I now think is kind of morphed into health anxiety. 'So this pregnancy I've been a very anxious wreck. 'I've been really quiet on my socials, because I just feel like I have nothing else going on in my life, apart from me trying to remain okay, because I just wanna know everything's okay.' Shaughna also detailed the early days of her pregnancy and admitted she was 'very lucky' to have fallen pregnant after her first attempts to conceive with Billy. 'I've known literally from like, the hour of conception, mainly because I was trying to conceive,' she went on. 'It was literally the first attempt at trying to conceive, and it worked, and I'm very, very blessed, very lucky. March the 11th? 12th? 'I'm due, I believe early November-ish, and I'm planning on doing a pregnancy diaries. 'I feel like it's weird with the second one, because with the first one, you don't know how much you love your child. Like you know obviously that you're gonna love your baby, whereas with the second one, you know exactly what to expect. You know the love. 'And then you also have the added effect of how on earth am I going to love this child as much as I love Lucia? And I know it comes and I'm not worried about it coming, but just right now I just can't fathom it. 'Have I ruined her life, Lucia's life? Or will she never remember a time when it was just me and her? 'Obviously I will, and it's been the greatest two years of my life, but she will never remember it, and is that gonna be sad for her? Like, I remember being an only child. It was great.' 'I felt like I was nauseous the day I found out, but I feel like it's, not placebo effects, but it was only because I was aware that I was pregnant, and then started thinking, ''oh, I've got morning sickness… cramps…'' but yeah. In the Instagram caption, Shaughna continued: 'I've been making these videos ever since I found out I was pregnant, so weird watching them back now! 'I also can't believe I thought it was dragging in the beginning, now it feels like someone is constantly pressing the fast forward button, and if someone could just press pause for a minute that would be fab! 'Anyway welcome to the pregnancy diaries!' Then, she added, 'P.s have I mentioned how much I love my lips these days?!' referring to her recent decision to dissolve her lip fillers. Following the birth of Lucia in April 2023, Billy, 29, was sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply 4.5kg of cocaine worth at least £360,000. Due to being in a Category D prison, Billy has been allowed home visits for 'a few days' each month - and Shaughna revealed how she planned her pregnancy under the circumstances. 'It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home,' Shaughna told The Mirror. 'I was like, ''You know what? Why not? Let's just see'' - and literally, the next day, I said to Billy, 'I think I'm pregnant'.' She went on to hint that Billy is set for early release and will be here for the birth. She said: 'I know the date that he's due to be home, but I'm not saying it just because anything could happen - but hopefully he will be fully home before my baby is due.' An insider added: 'Billy has been in a Category D prison, which means he has been able to spend a fair bit of time with Shaughna. 'He even managed to be home over Christmas, which meant a lot to her and, of course, Lucia. He hasn't been released as many people thought, but he has a lot of privileges.' In Category D prisons, inmates have minimal security and those deemed 'low risk' inmates are allowed to leave the site to work, 'resettle' or attend education during the day.

‘Stop undervaluing our food.' New Fairfax restaurant showcases Afro-Caribbean fine dining
At one of the city's most anticipated new restaurants, diners feast on Wagyu-stuffed Jamaican patties and saltfish-and-fig croquettes while seated in sculptural, shell-like booths. A showstopping flower-like art installation crowns the bar at the center of the modern Afro-Caribbean restaurant. Jerk-spiced tomahawk steaks and sorrel-dusted plantains make their way out to the tables while a DJ spins music late into the night. Lucia wants to take island flavors — and Fairfax— to new heights. 'I knew how diverse and how flavorful and how impactful this cuisine could be if executed in this modern way that Adrian [Forte] has taken it to,' said owner Sam Jordan. 'It came from a love of the food and an opportunity to do something different in L.A.' In chef Forte's Guyanese-style oxtail pepper pot — a dish that takes three days to make — the meat is coated in a house-ground spice blend and smoked over Jamaican pimento wood, then braised and served with a sauce reduced with cassareep. The tender fried chicken is brined in coconut milk and dabbed with fermented chili aioli. Pepper shrimp toast, a nod to Jamaica's cultural melting pot, blends the ubiquitous fermented-pepper shrimp street food with the fried Chinese classic. 'I truly believe that our culture needs something like this,' Forte said. 'Other cultures have all these different restaurants that are doing [their cuisines] at a high level and teaching cooks how to make this food. But we don't have that in our culture, so that was very important for me, and very purposeful.' A large reason for this, he said, is value perception. Why might some diners pay $40 or $50 for a bowl of pasta but not the oxtails that take three days to make? Caribbean cuisine, he said, can and should exist across a range of price points. 'I was very adamant about wanting to do this project ... mainly just for the culture so they can see that it's possible, and they could see the perceived value, and we could stop undervaluing ourselves and our food,' he said. Another reason Forte believes Caribbean cuisine isn't often attempted in fine dining is accessibility of ingredients. Multiple chefs of L.A. Caribbean restaurants told Forte they couldn't find the fresh leafy greens required to make callaloo, and thus ordered it canned. But Forte noticed that many Southern California farmers use sweet potato and taro leaves as compost or as feed for livestock; now he buys it fresh from the farmers and serves it as creamed callaloo with grilled snapper and a coconut butter sauce. When hunting for sorrel, he heads to Latin markets for hibiscus. When looking for boniato, or Caribbean sweet potato, he easily finds Japanese sweet potato. He purchases plantains from a Vietnamese grocer. 'I'm not necessarily missing any specific ingredients,' Forte said, 'because of the interconnectedness of what we do as a whole. The diaspora is so vast, and we have all these synergies with different cultures that people don't even realize.' Late-night service focuses on his small bites and the drinks overseen by beverage director Melina Meza (formerly of Level8, Boujis Group), which include an okra martini, a tamarind Collins and an oxtail old-fashioned. But Forte is also planning a new, Caribbean-inspired raw bar program, which he also expects to serve late into the evening. The Jamaica-born chef has deep culinary roots; his parents met at their own parents' shared restaurant. Forte spent years of his childhood and adolescence in their kitchens, and when his father immigrated to Canada, Forte spent years traveling between, dining and cooking in both countries. He participated in season eight of 'Top Chef Canada' — as the series' first Black contestant — and helped launch multiple restaurants there. When he met Jordan, Forte was working as a private chef in Jamaica. But Jordan's vision for Lucia lured the chef and 'Yawd' cookbook author to Los Angeles. After years spent investing in other people's restaurants in L.A. and the Bay Area, California-born Jordan wanted to build a business of his own and drew on his travels in the Caribbean to do it. When Jordan moved to L.A. in 2016 he found a bustling Fairfax filled with art, street style and tastemakers. The pandemic closed multiple storefronts along the iconic stretch, but the restaurateur hopes that Lucia — which opened in the former Black Star Burger space — can help spur revitalization on the street. He and design firm Preen pulled from the Caribbean's flora and fauna for the interior, calling on artist Guerin Swing to hand-cast the rows of 'shell booths' and the towering, flower-like bar sculpture from concrete. 'The whole place is like a show,' Jordan said. 'When you look around you see the big flowers in the center, you see the shell booths; the back dining room area is beautiful with the mirrors, everything. A big part of the food and the cultures that inspire our restaurant is the idea that we're not we're not trying to rush anyone out. We want people to get comfortable, to order food, order drinks, hang out, listen to the music. It's really like a whole immersive experience.' Lucia is open Wednesday to Sunday from 6 p.m. to midnight at 351 N. Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles, (213) 800-0048,

GTA 6: Four ‘gossips' that might actually be true
A lot has come out about GTA 6, following the second trailer. Rockstar has published a slew of game lore on its website, including details about its characters, some of the storyline, the locations in the game, and more. GTA 6 is going to launch on May 26, 2026.(Rockstar) However, there is a lot that is yet to be unveiled, and it is only going to be revealed when the game is released on 26 May 2026. Having said that, fans and online communities have been talking about several possibilities that could come true in Rockstar's GTA 6. Let us tell you about the top rumours and theories about the world and storyline of GTA 6, which could end up coming true, based on various things that people have spotted. 1. Liberty City could be a visitable location In the second trailer for the game, you see a chase sequence wherein a car has a Liberty City number plate. It is, of course, part of a cutscene, so whether the car is visiting from Liberty City or if you are actually in Liberty City is still up in the air. Another key reason why Liberty City could play a central role in GTA 6 is that Lucia, one of the two protagonists alongside Jason, is from Liberty City, according to Rockstar. Perhaps Liberty City will be a small part of the game, similar to how North Yankton was part of GTA 5. MOBILE FINDER: iPhone 16 LATEST Price 2. The return of dynamic body types Remember GTA San Andreas and how you could get fat or buff depending on how many times you visited the gym? Similarly, because Jason in GTA 6 has a chiseled physique and defined muscles, and we have even seen him working out in the second trailer, it could be that gyms will make a comeback in GTA 6. This could make for a very dynamic experience. Imagine if Rockstar allows you to get better performance from your character if they are muscular compared to when they are overweight. It could certainly make things quite interesting. 3. Pets in GTA 6 Another key detail we found in the second GTA 6 trailer is a cutscene that features a pet iguana inside a glass enclosure in a house. So, maybe you will be able to get pets in GTA 6. However, what is certain is that there are going to be many types of animals in the game. We have seen people walking their dogs in the trailer, and Rockstar has also detailed that there will be a wide variety of animals, including alligators in Leonida, flamingos, and a whole lot more. 4. Refuelling your car In GTA 5, you can enter a car and it can keep going, provided you do not damage it. This means, like most open-world games, you have unlimited fuel. This might not be the case in GTA 6, as online communities have spotted NPCs filling their cars at petrol stations in the game trailer. This could definitely be a hint that you may also need to fill up your car to keep it going. We have seen a similar mechanic in the PlayStation-exclusive game Days Gone, wherein you have to consistently fill up your bike to travel. This could be an interesting addition, considering you might have to plan ahead if you want to go somewhere and keep filling up, just like in real life.

Pregnant Love Island star Shaughna Phillips left stunned as she learns the gender of her baby and reveals why doctors are forcing her to undergo a C-section - ahead of welcoming second child with jailed boyfriend Billy Webb
Pregnant Shaughna Phillips has revealed she already knows the gender of her baby and took to Instagram on Thursday to share a snap of the moment she learned the news for the first time. The Love Island star, 31, looked stunned in the photo just days after confirming she was expecting, with The Sun later reporting that she would once again be welcoming a child with jailed boyfriend Billy Webb, who is also the father of her daughter Lucia. During a Q&A with followers one asked 'So pleased for you! Are you going to find out the gender?' to which Shaughna shared the snap of herself with her mouth wide open in utter disbelief and wrote: 'We do know the gender, this was my reaction'. She also revealed that was due in November, but said she'd be undergoing a C-Section so would likely welcome the tot a little earlier. Shaughna explained that while she had already planned to undergo the procedure following her now two-year-old's 'rough' birth, doctors had also insisted on it, due to her suffering from a 'low lying placenta'. Reflecting on Lucia's birth she wrote: 'Induction, 2 days labour, pushed for an hour and she was not moving, She got rally stressed and was rushed for forceps which FAILED because she turned around, and then she was rushed for an emergency C-Section and ended up with a postpartum haemorrhage'. She continued: 'So I always said I never wanted to risk that happening again and my baby being in such distress so always planned on having a C-section for future babes'. 'At my 20 week scan that said I have a low lying placenta which means I have tio have a section so ended up not being my choice anyway LOL'. Following the birth of Lucia in April 2023, Billy, 29, was sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply 4.5kg of cocaine worth at least £360,000. Speaking to The Mirror on Thursday, Shaughna said she got pregnant the very first time her ovulation period had coincided with Billy being at home. 'It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home,' Shaughna said. 'I was like, "You know what? Why not? Let's just see" - and literally, the next day, I said to Billy, "I think I'm pregnant".' She went on to hint that Billy is set for early release and will be here for the birth. Shaughna said: 'I know the date that he's due to be home, but I'm not saying it just because anything could happen - but hopefully he will be fully home before my baby is due.' Shaughna and Billy have been enjoying family days out over the past seven months while he has been on day release from an open prison. An insider said: 'Billy has been in a Category D prison, which means he has been able to spend a fair bit of time with Shaughna. 'He even managed to be home over Christmas, which meant a lot to her and, of course, Lucia. He hasn't been released as many people thought, but he has a lot of privileges.' In Category D prisons inmates have minimal security and those deemed 'low risk' inmates are allowed to leave the site to work, 'resettle' or attend education during the day. MailOnline contacted Shaughna's representatives for comment at the time. Announcing her pregnancy on Sunday, Shaughna posted a video of herself taking a pregnancy test and showed off her growing bump. She also shared a sweet video of her daughter Lucia, two, wearing a t-shirt saying 'Big Sis' and 'In my big sister era' to go with the announcement. Shaughna did not reveal who the father of her baby is as she wrote: 'Adding a little more love to our family…' Shaughna revealed the couple had spent Christmas together in December after the family reunited to enjoy a Christmas grotto together. Sharing an adorable video to her Instagram, the reality star revealed that she and her partner had taken Lucia to see Santa and added she never thought this day would come. She captioned the clip: 'If you had told me this time last year, that me and Billy would be taking Lucia to see Santa next Christmas, I probably wouldn't have let myself believe you 'The best couple of days, this Christmas is going to be so special'. The blonde bombshell has been very open with her fans throughout the ordeal and previously revealed on her podcast Oh, Baby with Shaughna and Holly that she had struggled to come to terms with the situation. She said: 'It's the most gut-wrenching position to be in. 'And, I mean, before I even answer this question, I want to just put it out there that you can judge me all you want, but please don't let me know, because I feel like unless you've been in this position you can't really have an opinion on it. 'Because before I was in this position, before I had a baby, if you had asked me would I ever, ever take my child into a prison, the answer would be absolutely not. Anyone that does that is crazy. 'And then, lo and behold, I'm now in this position. And I think the thing is, we're always going to be co-parents. 'And I know that me and my dad had the best relationship ever, and to me, my dad is the best person in the world. 'And I don't want Lucia to think differently of her father. I would never, ever stop him from seeing her, ever.' What is a Low-Lying Placenta? In some women, the placenta attaches low down in the uterus and may cover part of or all of the cervix (the neck of the womb). In most cases, the placenta moves upwards and out of the way as the uterus grows during pregnancy. For some women, however, the placenta continues to lie in the lower part of the uterus as the pregnancy progresses. If the placenta remains low-lying, you will have an additional scan at 36 weeks. If the placenta remains low at 36 weeks then you will see an obstetrician who will to decide the safest way to deliver the baby.
