Mystery Scots EuroMillions winner hasn't claimed £3.6 million fortune
A multi-million prize lies unclaimed after it was bought in Scotland this month. A mystery Scots lottery winner has yet to come forward to claim their £3.6 million fortune two weeks after the draw. Lottery bosses have revealed that the winning ticket hasn't been claimed after the ticket was bought in Fife on June 13. Now a desperate search is underway to find the person who won a share of £208 million after matching six Euromillions balls, from the numbers 2, 28, 40, 43, 45 and Lucky Stars 3 and 7. The winners split the huge prize fund after the jackpot hit its cap from previous rollovers. Winners have 180 days after the draw to come forward and claim their prize and must have reached out by December 10. However, anyone who thinks they have won but have since lost their ticket must write to the lottery within 30 days. Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at National Lottery operator Allwyn, advised players to get hunting through their cars and pockets for the winning ticket. He said: 'Do you live or work in the area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through? 'It's time to search through handbags, purses, trouser pockets and the car. 'Check everywhere and anywhere as a ticket is lurking which is worth £3.6m. 'Someone who bought a ticket in Fife is now a multi-millionaire and we are desperate to unite this lucky player with their winnings.'
