McDonald's fans just learn about 'most unique' venue in 'Medieval castle'
People have been wowed by this McDonald's in a Medieval castle that looks like it is straight out of the Shrek films, and it is one of many unique branches around the world People are only just realising that there is a McDonald's that looks like a huge medieval castle - and fast food lovers are keen to visit the unique spot. When we travel abroad, many of us like to try out the local cuisine and avoid food spots that we can easily get at home. But, often, some of our favourite brands offer different menus we wouldn't be able to try at home. While we all know what McDonald's restaurants looks like, the menus vary by location to reflect local tastes and traditions - and there are a few which look nothing like the other eateries. The biggest McDonald's restaurant is in Orlando, Florida, and some fans believe the "poshest" chain is in Long Island. In New Zealand, there is a McDonald's where food is served from an abandoned aeroplane, plus there is a floating McDonald's service in Germany. Recently, fans have discovered a rather spectacular McDonald's in Goshen, Indiana, located in what looks like an entire Medieval castle. The unique spot can be found at Gallops Truck Stop, and it isn't just a McDonald's. The enormous structure, which opened in 2014, also boasts a Subway, a mega-sized convenience store, and 11 showers. This McDonald's is located just north of Goshen at the intersection of US Highway 20 and State Highway 15 between Middlebury and Elkhart. Owner Harpreet "Monte" Singh, who operates multiple truck stops under the Gallops brand, previously told Goshen News how he has always been fascinated by regal-looking buildings. He said: "I wanted to do something new. It was a concept that came in my mind and I just wanted to work on it." Many people are only just learning that the McDonald's exists after seeing clips shared on social media. @amberstellll posted a clip of the fast food fortress on TikTok, leaving people amazed. One person commented: "Best McDonald's I've ever seen." "Only in America," commented another. "This is how I imagine McDonald's in the UK," joked an American. One other pointed out: "Literally that restaurant from Shrek 2 with the medieval meal." Agreeing that the McDonald's looks like it could be in the Shrek films, another said: "This is exactly how it's like in Far Far away." Another agreed, writing: "That's where the fairy his mother got the medieval meal." "I'll have the medieval meal," commented one other. We know how much the Italians pride themselves on good food, so of course they had to join the list with one of the most beautiful McDonald's in the world. While visit Rome, you will find a unique chain with hand-carved statues in the entranceway. Located near the famous Spanish steps, this McDonald's has a sculpture in the entranceway that looks like it could be a rendering of the Roman goddess Venus. Further into the restaurant beyond the classic McDonald's stills, stands a separate section devoted to decadent-looking cakes, tarts, and donuts. Fans love taking videos and pictures of the spot - and it has gone viral online, with people tourists making sure they add it to their must-do list while visiting the ancient Italian city. TikTok account @moromatour – a page which shares Roman insights and offers tours around the city - shared a look inside the amazing eatery. The video has raked in 1.8million views and has the caption: "This McDonald's looks like a museum. Rome, Italy." "Proud to say I have been there," commented one. One other wrote: "No matter where you are, got to try Maccies at least once, totally different menus and vibe! We were at this Maccies on Tuesday and it's actually massive, proper McCafe with pastries and coffee!" One other who was shocked after seeing the spot, said: "I remember when I was in Rome and stumbled upon this McDonald's completely on accident" "I was there, it's incredible," insisted one other. Some observed that due to its uniqueness this eatery can get busy fast. In other McDonald's news, a menu shake up has been announced for later this month. Tesco shoppers joke they want to 'call police' after spotting price of Reese's yoghurts
People have been left divided by a number of new products spotted by shoppers in Tesco recently - but some cannot get passed the price of a new Reese's dessert It's always exciting spotting new products in supermarkets -and fans have been shocked after seeing price of Reese's yogurts plus one "disgusting" product. If you are an avid Tesco shopper, it's likely that you often see the new products and brand stocked on shelves. It's fun to change up your cupboard products or try something new once in a while. Fans have been left divided by an array of new, fun treat products spotted in Tesco recently. A post shared on popular social media food New Foods UK showed what's on offer - including Wotsists Flamin' Hot Mac and Cheese, Wotsists Sweet and Spicy Mac and Cheese, English Cheese Company Vanilla and Biscoff Cheesecake, several Marmite products from wedges, creamy mash, roast potatoes, and cheese and Marmite potato gratin and Aero Dairy Chocolate Snack. Plus they also spotted Harry Potter themed Haribo, limited edition 100 Years Milk Chocolate McVities Digestives, and Reese's Peanut Butter Chip white chocolate dessert. "Wow, so many new foods at Tesco!," wrote New Foods UK. People rushed to comment and share their thoughts - with many unable to get passed the price of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. The treat features white chocolate dessert and peanut butter cups that you mix in. "Reese's looks nice, but £3.50?," questioned one. Another joked: "Reese's yoghurt £3.50...I'm phoning the police." "£3.50 for Reese' One other added: "For those prices, they can stick them where the sun don't shine." People were also left divided by the Marmite products on offer - including "scrumptious" Marmite Wedges, Marmite Creamy Mash, Marmite Roast Potatoes described as "crispy and tasty", "delicious" Cheese and Marmite Potato Gratin. "Marmite an idea!", commented one. "Marmite butter is a game changer," agreed another excited individual. "Marmite heaven," added another. Others did not seem as impressed. "The Marmite items can get in the bin," said one. "You keep loosing me with the Marmite though," said another. Another agreed, and added: "That marmite mash looks disgusting. Processed crap!" In other food news, which has divided fans, KFC has brought back a beloved burger by popular demand as well as some new loaded fries - they are available for a limited time only, and while many are buzzing about the treats, some do not approve.
