Luna Blaise of Manifest fame reveals she trained in Muay Thai boxing for Jurassic World Rebirth
Luna Blaise, formerly known for her roles in NBC and Netflix's Manifest, as well as ABC's Fresh Off the Boat, is slated to star in the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth which comes out on July 2, 2025. In a June 25 interview with NBC's Today show, Luna opened up about her experiences in shooting for Jurassic World Rebirth, including the fact that she learned Muay Thai boxing in Thailand. She made it clear that she expected a physically and emotionally challenging experience and was ready to put her best foot forward. Luna Blaise plays Teresa Delgado in the movie, who's a member of a shipwrecked civilian family alongside her father, Reuben Delgado (played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) and younger sister Isabella Delgado (played by Audrina Miranda). Luna Blaise had high praise for the Jurassic World Rebirth crew Luna Blaise agreed with the Today hosts that being a part of the storied Jurassic Park franchise was a dream come true. She also called the crew 'top-tier' and 'the best people around' and said that she was happily cracking jokes and goofing off with them between takes. Jurassic World Rebirth was shot in both Malta and Thailand, and Luna recounted her experiences visiting those places. It wasn't just a vacation either, as the crew often had to deal with challenging weather conditions such as the monsoon season and all the rainfall. When the Today hosts brought up the fact that Luna had trained in Muay Thai boxing, she pointed out that the practice had strong traditional and spiritual roots in Thailand, with each lesson feeling like a ceremony. She then pointed out that she actually took these boxing lessons in the jungle, and her trainers had an interesting solution on how to deal with snakes. According to her, they almost offhandedly mentioned that the car doors were left open, so in case an anaconda or any sort of dangerous snake came, she could just run into the car and shut herself in. Luna showed faith in her co-star, Audrina Miranda The interview closed with the hosts asking her about her relationship with Audrina Miranda, who plays her little sister in the film. Given that Luna herself got her start as a child actor, she said that she was encouraging to Audrina and told her: 'You would not have this opportunity if you weren't ready to have it.' The conversation ended with the Today hosts introducing Luna's mother, who was there to watch her daughter promote the next big chapter in her career. Aside from her film and television career, Luna Blaise has also dabbled in music, with her releasing "Over You" as a single in 2017 and "Secrets" in 2018.

Jurassic World Rebirth : Luna Blaise Shares Scarlett Johansson's Advice

In fact, the 23-year-old got so close with costar Scarlett Johansson that she was able to absorb some wisdom from the two-time Oscar nominee while on set. 'She told me to hold your own,' Luna exclusively told E! News' Erin Lim Rhodes at the New York City premiere of the film June 23. 'Being a woman on set, being number one and being the captain of that ship, [she said to] know your worth, know you're there for a reason. You wouldn't have been given the opportunity if you weren't ready for it.' The Manifest alum of Scarlett, 'That's number one, wow. That's auntie. That's my girl. I'll go for her for anything.' And while Luna was grateful for her connection with the Marvel star, it's not the only friendship she built on set. In fact, Wicked star Jonathan Bailey also brought great energy to the jungles of Thailand, one of the locations where they filmed the dinosaur movie. More from E! 'It was amazing. It was very special to see him coming off that [and] coming to do this.' She continued, 'He's a magical wonder. I don't know how he does it. He's continuing to dance through life, babe.' Now that Luna has bonded with the cast—which also includes Mahershala Ali and Rupert Friend—through intense physical training and strenuous filming locations, she's excited to celebrate the cast and crew's accomplishments. 'I'm so happy that we're here and experiencing this all together,' she shared. 'It's really a family unit. It's so unbelievably special. We're all just so stoked.' Jurassic World star Luna Blaise puts on a very racy display in a sheer skintight dress at the world premiere of the new movie in London
Actress Luna Blaise commanded attention on Tuesday as she stepped onto the red carpet at the Jurassic World: Rebirth world premiere in London. The star, 23, who stars as Teresa Delgado in the upcoming blockbuster, turned heads in a skintight midi dress that flaunted her sensational curves. Her daring look featured a plunging neckline and was adorned with pearlescent scales, giving a nod to the film's prehistoric theme. She elevated the ensemble with gold heels and matching hoop earrings as she pulled her raven tresses into a sleek updo. Luna appeared in high spirits as she posed confidently for the cameras before heading into the star-studded event. The new science fiction action film, which comes on the heels of Jurassic World Dominion (2022), is the seventh film in the Jurassic Park franchise and stars a whole new ensemble cast, with Scarlett Johansson in the lead role. On a top-secret mission, the characters fight for their lives in a battle against much larger and dangerous foes. The movie is set half a decade after the 2022 Jurassic World Dominion movie, which starred Bryce Dallas Howard alongside Chris Pratt, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill among many more in the all-star cast. The synopsis of the movie reads: 'Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet's ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. 'Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived,' the summary continues. Steven Spielberg is back as executive producer on the project, which is a joint-venture production between Amblin Entertainment and Universal. Principal photography began in mid-June in Thailand and went on for about a month until the production moved to Kalkara in the island country of Malta in the Mediterranean Sea, located in Southern Europe for another month. From there, the shoot went to Sky Studios Elstree in London, England in August for another round before moving on in late September to New York City Jurassic World Rebirth is scheduled to hit theaters in the UK and US on July 2, 2025. She is best known for her role as Olive Stone in the NBC/Netflix sci fi drama series Manifest. And she was also in Nicole Ellis in ABCs Fresh Off The Boat. The star began acting at the age of six with a cameo appearance in the 2008 film Vicious Circle. In 2013, she was seen as a Young Nina in the indie art film, Memoria. The movie was executive produced by James Franco who also had a role in the project. In 2014, Luna was cast in the recurring role of Nicole on the ABC television series Fresh Off the Boat starring Randall Park and Constance Wu as Louis and Jessica Huang. She was 13 when the series started filming, and it was her first major role. In early 2017, she released her first single, 'Over You', and announced in December 2017 she would be releasing new music in the new year. The following year she was cast as Olive Stone in the NBC drama/mystery series Manifest which became a monster hit on Netflix.
