Hannah Hollis' shock career move: Popular Aussie TV presenter announces sudden departure from Fox Sports after 10 years
Hannah Hollis has revealed her shock new career move, announcing she is stepping away from her presenter role at Fox Sports. The Aussie TV presenter, who has been working for the sports broadcaster for 10 years, will continue fronting lifestyle show Luxury Escapes, which is currently being produced by Foxtel. The 36-year-old's final broadcast will be on Sunday as she covers the Suncorp Super Netball. This won't be Hannah's first time on Luxury Escapes. She has already featured on the second season of the popular travel show. The program, which first aired in 2016, gives viewers a glimpse into some of the best holiday experiences across the globe, as well as our very own backyard. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Hannah opened up to about the career move after having just returned from a luxury escape in the US. 'I've been to some of the most beautiful places around the world experiencing wild indulgence, adventure, food, art and culture all steeped in local tradition,' she said. 'It's a joy to share stories like this.' Despite the complete 180 from sport to travel, Hannah assured her fans she wasn't turning her back on her passion for the field, but instead hoped to blend the two in the future. 'My time with Fox Sports and Foxtel — and the opportunities I've enjoyed over the past decade — have further fuelled my ambition,' she said. She added that it felt like the perfect time to step out of her comfort zone and explore broader possibilities within the media landscape. It comes after a new shot was fired by Fox Sports in the broadcaster's increasingly bitter footy war with Channel Seven. This year, Fox is the only way footy fans across most of Australia can watch games on a Saturday for large parts of the season due to a change in the league's broadcasting agreement. It's a move that has infuriated footy fans and left a big dent in Seven's coverage, which has been bolstered by its huge investment in AFL panel shows with the likes of Kane Cornes and Caroline Wilson. This is also the first year viewers have had the option of watching every game on Fox, with the pay TV giant's commentators covering every match, with ratings jumping by a huge amount as a result. Seven star Brian Taylor has been taking pot shots at Fox by reminding fans that they don't always send their commentary crews to matches and instead have them cover the games from the studio, whereas he and his colleagues are always at the ground. Fox recently hit back by launching an ad showing a Taylor lookalike banging on the door of a pub when he couldn't get inside to watch footy on a Saturday. That has crossed a line with Seven, with a staffer at the broadcaster hitting the commercial with the 'disrespectful' tag, according to The Age.

Aussie TV presenter Hannah Hollis lands surprise new gig
Australian TV presenter Hannah Hollis has announced she's departing Fox Sports after 10 years with the sports broadcaster, focusing on her new role as presenter on lifestyle show, Luxury Escapes, which is currently in production. The presenter, who has earned a strong fanbase over the years for her work in sports broadcasting, will farewell Fox with her final appearance on tonight's netball coverage. Hollis is taking on a new challenge with the network, officially joining the lifestyle show Luxury Escapes as its new presenter. The star is no stranger to the show, having already featured on it in the second season. First aired in 2016, Luxury Escapes offers viewers an inside look into the world's best holidays, featuring some of Australia's most beloved locations and international getaways like Singapore, Los Cabos, Bali, the Maldives and Thailand. Nice work if you can get it, and when Hollis speaks to she's just returned from an assignment in the US, which will debut later this year. 'I've loved it. I've been to some of the most beautiful places around the world experiencing wild indulgence, adventure, food, art and culture all steeped in local tradition. It's a joy to share stories like this,' Hollis said of embracing the new career challenge. But Hollis is keen to stress she hasn't turned her back on sports reporting – it remains her first love, and she's eager to work more in the field in the future. Having finished up with Fox Sports, she will now look for new opportunities, mixing her passion for sport and entertainment. 'I am finishing up with Fox Sports following this weekend's Suncorp Super Netball round, after 10 fulfilling and enriching years,' she said. 'My time with Fox Sports and Foxtel — and the opportunities I've enjoyed over the past decade — have further fuelled my ambition. Now, I feel it's the right moment to explore broader professional challenges. 'Sport is the cornerstone and heartbeat of my career and I've also enjoyed exploring my ambition beyond that and into entertainment. So it's not one or the other.' Her extensive experience over 10 years includes being part of the 2024 Paris Olympics coverage which was recognised at the Aus Sports Commission Awards last year; game day hosting for NRL and various Rugby League entertainment show and WNBL and Suncorp Super Netball coverage to name a few. 'I'm proud of people I've worked with and learnt from and I'm grateful to have spent a decade with a high performing passionate and dedicated team,' she said of her time covering sport. 'My proudest highlights include our award-winning Paris Olympic coverage, the NRL opener in Las Vegas. 'Hosting Fox League and Fox Netball, the latter of which includes building a new team from the ground up and our world first all female NRL show League Life. 'I've relished exploring the world of entertainment over the years interviewing Hollywood stars and now hosting a high end travel show.'

We handpick all the best travel deals for EOFY 2025
The End of Financial Year Sales have kicked off bringing thousands of dollars in savings and discounts of up to 90 per cent. As a professional deal hunter, I'm pretty adept at weeding the good deals from the great ones - and because no one likes to waste their time or their money, I'm only bringing you the best ones here. Top of my list - particularly for travellers - is Flight Centre with up to 60 per cent off travel. If you're headed to across the pond for the snows, there's New Zealand flights from $456 return on Air New Zealand. However, if you'd prefer not to lift a finger, they've also rustled up to 60 per cent off beach holidays. Think eight nights at Phuket's Kamala Beach Resort from $350 per person and seven nights at Double Six in Seminyak Bali from $943 per person. I'm a sucker for points earning opportunities and if you are too, you'll be stoked to hear that Luxury Escapes is running a triple points deal on select packages. These points are for their Sociéte program and can earn you future discounts and exclusive benefits. Popular stays you can rack up points with include five nights at the Meru Sanur Bali from $2059 per room and seven nights at the all-inclusive Katathani Phuket Beach Resort from $1999 per room. Banking up Qantas Frequent Flyer Points instead? Lotte Duty Free is currently offering two Qantas Points per $1 spent in their online store. This makes life so much easier as you can click and collect at the airport. For your wardrobe, Boody has slashed its prices by at LEAST 30 per cent. Bras start at $12 and undies at $8, with our favourite Full Briefs down to $13.97 per pair (down from $19.99) and "the perfect travel pants" the Downtime Lounge Pants now $55.97 (originally $79.99). The Iconic has also joined in the fun with the fun (I'd expect nothing less), slinging up to 60 per cent off end of season stock, plus a bonus 20 per cent off selected items. Deals that have caught my eye include these Lorna Jane No Chafe Ankle Biter Leggings for $60 (down from $99.99), these Abrand 94 High & Wide Debbie Jeans from $89 and these unisex ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 VIII runners for $188 (down from $250). If you've been eyeing a robovac for way too long, you can score the ECOVACS DEEBOT N20 PRO Plus Vacuum Robot with Mopping Function for $695 (was $999) at Amazon while the ever-popular Dyson has worked its magic with up to 50 per cent off floorcare, including $750 off its 360 vis nav robovac If you're overdue to upgrade your mattress Emma Sleep has slashed its comfy numbers by up to 55 per cent and to dress that up C anningvale has spoiled us with up to 90 per cent off bedding, linens and towels. When it comes to suitcases you won't be stuck for choice with American Tourister and Antler taking up to 50 per cent off their bestsellers, while The Iconic seems determined to clear its stock of Flylites with half off most pieces. Close on their heels Samsonite and Myer are running 40 per cent off luggage deals. After those precious tax deductibles? eBay has 20 per cent off HP storewide and 15 per cent off with eBay Plus which includes cameras, vacuum cleaners, phones and tablets. Popular Samsung devices are also on the chopping block, with $400 off the Galaxy S25 Series and $800 off the 636L AI Family Hub French Door Refrigerator catching my eye. Finally, for your beauty bag Dope Skin Co. is doing your face a favour with up to 40 per cent off sitewide, while Bescher Beauty's unique sea cucumber collagen products are all 25 per cent off for a limited time. We're constantly updating this story as new deals drop (and sell out) so bookmark it and keep hitting refresh. Guests will enjoy 'all-inclusive local culinary experiences', including 'secret street food tours' and 'gourmet vineyard dinners'. Experiences include a trip on the Flam Railway through Norway's fjords and a stay at the Afagay Desert luxury camp in Morocco. In Sicily, guests will stay at a beachfront hotel in Taormina with a 'private beach surrounded by carved rock'. The exclusive tour also includes a stay at a vineyard hotel in the Champagne region which includes a vineyard tour and wine tasting with local producers. The 25-day adventure will end with a farewell celebration at the 'iconic' Ciragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul, a hotel located in a former Ottoman Imperial Palace. The tour will take place on a Luxury Escapes chartered A320-200 aircraft stopping at private airport terminals at Prague, Bergen, San Sebastian, Porto, Marrakesh, Champagne, Sicily, Dubrovnik and Istanbul But the premium adventure doesn't come cheap. The trip will set guests back £595.20 a day with the full tour costing from £14,384 per person. Set to depart on April 12 2026, the tour is described as a 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience.
