Australian influencer Caitlin Lyndon's Melbourne home destroyed in alleged targeted firebombing incident

An Australian influencer says her 'life has been ruined' after her Melbourne property was firebombed in an alleged targeted attack while she was abroad. Caitlin Lyndon, known on social media as 'fitmum93', was partying with friends in Bali on Sunday night when she received a phone call from Australian authorities informing her about the fire. The OnlyFans star's home, which she had only moved into two months prior to the incident, was badly damaged in the attack. 'I cannot fathom that somebody would do this to me,' Lyndon told Melbourne media outlets on Monday. 'Everyone has enemies… but I would never imagine having pissed people off enough to have your personal home lit on fire where you and your son's belongings are. 'I guess Victoria Police are probably going to find (the perpetrators), so I'm just going to let them do their job.' Victorian Police have described the Sandhurst fire as 'suspicious' and have received reports of two individuals fleeing the scene in a dark car, which are being investigated. A car on fire in a nearby area was also discovered by Victorian Police, with investigators 'working to determine if the fires are linked'. Lyndon took to Instagram in a now-deleted video discussing the incident, sharing with her 82,000 followers that her CCTV system had been disabled prior to the attack. 'I just don't know where to start – and I live in the biggest Karen estate ever, so this is just gross,' 'I didn't even think you could shut down CCTV so these c**ts are just dogs. 'I am grateful my son and dogs are safe as I can replace our furniture, our belongings, but our family I cannot. 'I've never wanted to hold my baby so tight in all my life – true friends and families' colours are shown in times like this. 'I'm not afraid to cry and show you that I have f****ng emotions because you know what – I worked my a** off to get where I was and even if I've lost everything, you've burnt it down and you've ruined my life. 'I will build my life again, but my son does not deserve this.' The influencer also posted a photo of the property's damage to her social media on Monday.

Lyndon Byers, an enforcer who spent most of his career with the Bruins and appeared in two Stanley Cup Finals, died Friday, the team announced. He was 61. No cause of death was given. Advertisement 'The Boston Bruins are deeply saddened by the passing of Lyndon Byers,' the Bruins said in a statement Saturday. He appeared in 316 career games across the regular season and playoffs with both teams. Byers' best year of offensive production occurred in 1987-88, when he scored 10 goals and finished with 24 points before adding another goal — during Game 3 of Boston's playoff series against the Devils — and two assists in the playoffs. 4 Lyndon Byers (r.) delivers a check during an April 1990 game for the Bruins. 'A son of Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Lyndon became a true Bostonian and we will miss him dearly. He is forever a part of our Bruins family. Our thoughts are with his wife, Annie, and son, Will, during this very difficult time.'

Tributes as much-loved St Davids lifeboat volunteer dies

Lyndon Lomax was the 'unofficial station photographer' for St Davids RNLI, and he was also a respected and knowledgeable bird photographer, known for his work in both Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. He died last week following a period of ill-health. St Davids RNLI posted on Facebook: "It is with sadness we share news of the recent passing of Lyndon Lomax, our unofficial station photographer. "Lyndon photographed crew and station life for some 30 years, providing stock images to be used in press releases and even disks of keepsake photos to crew. Lyndon's last crew picture at Davids was taken in 2023. (Image: Lyndon Lomax) "Lyndon took our last crew photo in 2023 on a very windy July evening, and you can see him in the first picture below - he didn't like the limelight so getting a photograph of the photographer was always hard. Lyndon is pictured on St Davids RNLI slipway during the 2023 photo shoot. (Image: RNLI St Davids Lifeboat) "Lyndon was a friend to all and he will be sorely missed at the station. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family." Former mechanic Mike Chant commented: " Rest easy Lyndon and heartfelt thanks for all you have done for us over the years at the station, you will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. Lyndon was described by Gill Lewis as "so modest, a real gentleman", and she added: "Ime spent talking with him was never wasted." The birding communities of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion have also posted tributes. Lyndon was quite a rare bird to photograph. (Image: Pembrokeshire Birds) Lyndon was chairman of the Pembrokeshire Bird Group committee for a number of years, and the Pembrokeshire Birds website said: ""Many of his photos can be seen in various Pembrokeshire Bird Reports as a lasting memory of his passion for birds and photography. Although Lyndon lived in Pembrokeshire, he was a regular visitor to Ceredigion and a long-standing memberof the Ceredigion Bird Group. Ceredigion Birds members Janet Baxter and Karen Burns said on Ceredigion Birds: "Some of you will have met him on boat trips from New Quay or from his visits to Teifi Marshes. Most of you will have at some point seen his photos either on this site or perhaps in publications such as the book Where to Watch Birds in Wales. Lyndon was 'a very knowledgeable and well-respected birder." (Image: Lyndon Lomax) "Lyndon was a very knowledgeable and well respected birder. He gave illustrated talks at conferences and local groups and was particularly active within Pembrokeshire. For many years he organised wildlife boat trips under the auspices of the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales." They added: On Friday, we went out with Seamor dolphin watching on their 'Spout shout ' in Cardigan Bay. We lamented Lyndon's absence and thought how much he would have enjoyed It. Its was therefore particularly poignant on returning home to receive news of his death that very morning...."
