Power comes from a front-mounted electric motor producing 241 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, enabling a top speed of 180 kmph. It supports both 11 kW AC charging (0 to 100 per cent in 8.5 hours) and DC fast charging, which juices the battery from 30 per cent to 80 per cent in just 30 minutes. 3 Dimensions Measuring 5,270 mm long with a 3,200 mm wheelbase, the M9 is larger than its key rivals and offers three rows of seating for seven occupants. It gets elements such low low-positioned headlamps, large front and rear overhangs, large connected taillights, etc. Inside the cabin, the MG M9 EV gets a wide range of advanced technology-aided features. The MG M9 EV, an all-electric luxury limousine from JSW MG Motor, is poised to redefine premium people movers in India. First showcased at Auto Expo 2025, the M9 EV marks MG's entry into the electric three-row luxury van segment and will be the brand's fifth EV for the country. Here's a breakdown of five standout features of this upcoming flagship. Additionally, DC fast charging support enables a 30–80 per cent top-up in just 30 minutes, making it practical for both city and inter-city commutes. The front cabin features a minimalist, premium layout with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. A floating centre console houses essentials like a wireless charger, cupholders, and storage space, while touch capacitive controls manage HVAC settings. Both front seats come with 4-way lumbar support and ventilation, underscoring the MPV's chauffeur-driven comfort ethos. Safety in the MG M9 EV is on par with global standards. It comes equipped with seven airbags, ABS, ESP with auto hold, TPMS, and a 360-degree surround view monitor. MG M9 luxury EV MPV bookings begin: New details revealed
MG Motor India has opened the bookings for the new MG M9 luxury MPV. Interested customers can book the EV online or by visiting their nearest dealership, booking amount is set at Rs 51,000. The MPV was first showcased at the 2025 Delhi Auto Expo and is expected to be launched by the end of May. The M9 will be the second product that will be sold via MG's new 'Select' premium retail network, after the Cyberster. MG Motor will bring its upcoming M9 EV to India as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit and assemble it at its manufacturing facility in Gujarat. This strategy offers a cost advantage, as CKD imports attract lower duties compared to Completely Built Units (CBUs), allowing the company to price the M9 EV more competitively. The electric vehicle is expected to carry an ex-showroom price between Rs 65 lakh and Rs 75 lakh. Along with opening the bookings, the company has also revealed that the EV luxury MPV will feature presidential seats. Essentially, individual second-row seats are styled after business-class airline seating. These come with 16-way power adjustment, eight massage functions, as well as heating and ventilation. The MPV also includes a dual panoramic sunroof with a yacht-inspired design, a 64-colour ambient lighting setup, and a 12-speaker audio system. Buyers can choose between pure black or cognac brown interior trims. The electric M9 features a front-wheel-drive layout powered by a front-mounted motor and a 90kWh lithium battery.
