Oasis reunited on stage in Cardiff for the first time in 16 years, with a crowd of celebs spotted in the audience. It has been over a decade since Noel and Liam Gallagher performed with one another

A host of celebrity faces have gathered in the audience as Oasis reunites following a 16-year hiatus. This evening's performance in Cardiff represents more than a decade since the Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam, shared a stage together.
The group made their entrance to 'F**king in the Bushes' before launching into their opening number 'Hello'. The packed venue erupted in applause to welcome back the legendary band.
Among those in attendance were EastEnders favourite Danny Dyer and Line Of Duty star Vicky McClure. Television presenter Vernon Kay was also photographed outside the Principality Stadium.
Liam addressed the enthusiastic crowd, saying: "Hey, beautiful people, it's been too long," with notable attendees including Glastonbury founder Emily Eavis, Dominic Mohan, and Andy Goldstein.

The Mirror can exclusively confirm that Meg Mathews - Noel's former spouse - was also present at the concert. Their daughter Anais was likewise spotted at the venue.

Earlier in the day, Meg posted several photographs of herself with Noel, captioning them: "TODAY IS THE DAY 4th July 2025 Finally here ....OASIS REUNION TOUR, Britpop was a British music and cultural movement that peaked in the mid-1990s, characterized by a revival of British guitar pop from the 1960s and 1970s, in contrast to American grunge.
"It was not just a genre, but a reactionary and patriotic cultural response, celebrating British identity, working-class roots, and everyday life. To everyone who's there when they walk on the stage at 8.15pm will be a piece of history."
Reflecting on the photograph, she continued: "That night was a lot of fun can't remember what after party gig it was .. back then there was always one which I was in charge of organising through @creationrecords money and fun had no limit back then."
Meg recently found herself having to refute rumours of a reconciliation after sharing images of them embracing. Speaking to the Irish Mirror in 2020, Meg revealed she previously suffered from severe PTSD.
She explained: "I came through the marriage. Everything was public. At the end of the day I did not have the cog or the PR world that that person (Noel) had.
"I was just the ex-wife. I had nobody. I didn't know what to do. I didn't have a press agent, wasn't famous, I just had a daughter. I used to get terrible PTSD. In 1997 I was the third most written about woman. It was Lady Diana, The Spice Girls and me."

For supporters still hoping to secure last-minute passes to Oasis' comeback performances, the group are preparing to make available a handful of remaining tickets. According to their announcement: "As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine tuned. These final production releases will happen over the coming days."
