Commuters stranded amid heavy rains in Metro Manila
Several commuters faced difficulty getting a ride amid the heavy rains in Metro Manila on Thursday morning. The affected roads were still passable to all types of vehicles despite the floods. Several areas were experiencing heavy rains due to a low pressure area (LPA) and the Southwest Monsoon, state weather bureau PAGASA said. Rainfall from 50 to 100 mm may be felt in Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro between Wednesday and Thursday evening. Also, the same rainfall condition is expected in Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, and Ilocos Norte. P10 worth of 'shabu' inside fishing vessel seized by PH Navy in Zambales
More than P10 billion worth of alleged shabu was seized in a fishing vessel in the waters of Zambales by the Philippine Navy. According to Mark Makalalad's report on Super Radyo dzBB, the fishing vessel was manned by foreign nationals.
