(Video) TXT Soobin Goes Viral For Eating Big Slice Of Watermelon In 3 Seconds

K-pop idols are renowned for being exceptionally talented performers, having undergone years of rigorous training before making their debut. Some are highly skilled dancers, while others have proven themselves to be among the finest vocalists in the industry. That said, some of these idols also have hidden talents or party tricks that many fans may not know about. TOMORROW X TOGETHER (투모로우바이투게더)'s leader, Choi Soobin (수빈), recently showed off one of his unexpected skills – and it might leave you speechless, impressed, and perhaps, even a little confused. Watch what he can do with a massive slice of watermelon in his hands: Yesterday (Wednesday, 16th July), TXT's Soobin appeared as a guest on the latest episode of MBC's Radio Star. During the broadcast, the idol spoke about his group's relationship with their seniors BTS, his role as TXT's leader, highlighted some of his personal charms, and shared the advice he received ahead of his first-ever appearance on the variety show. At one point in the episode, the singer decided to show off his unusual watermelon-eating skills, revealing that he had been practising for two days. He was handed a large slice of the refreshing fruit and, once the timer started, managed to finish it in just three seconds, much to everyone's surprise. A few pre-recorded clips were also shown, featuring his bandmates expressing confusion over why this was the particular 'talent' he chose to showcase. When asked about his reason, the 24-year-old explained that he's not confident when it comes to doing impressions, so he opted to do something fun and a little silly instead. The clip of him devouring the watermelon has since gone viral, with fans saying they were both impressed but, given his reputation for odd antics, not entirely surprised. MOAs (TXT fans) have commented that Soobin and his members are known for their quirky personalities and eccentric behaviour, traits that are very much part of their charm. Others noted that the 'Love Language' singer is one of the few idols who feels comfortable sharing his weird and unfiltered side with fans, without worrying too much about maintaining a polished idol image. Some were even curious to know how he discovered this unusual talent. Perhaps one day we'll get to see Soobin attempt the challenge again on stage during a TXT concert (though maybe not at every show), and even convince his fellow members to try and beat his record. As it turns out, there is a world record for the most watermelon eaten in 30 seconds, so maybe Soobin should aim to break it, potentially making TXT the first K-pop group with two world record holders. (Video) TXT Fans Lose It Over Soobin & Hueningkai's Pepero Challenge ‘Kiss'

If you're unfamiliar with the world of K-pop, you may not realise just how popular the Pepero Challenge is. The game involves two idols (usually of the same gender and from the same group), with one holding one end of a Pepero biscuit in their mouth while the other bites the opposite end until it breaks. This means there's always the possibility of their lips touching. The game may seem innocent enough, but fans are always quick to react to this kind of skinship between members. TOMORROW X TOGETHER (투모로우바이투게더) are the latest idol group to take on the challenge, and the video has caused a meltdown across social media. Watch: Over the weekend, SBSKPOP X Inkigayo shared a video featuring members of TXT taking part in various games and challenges during the latest episode of their variety segment. One of the highlights was the famous Pepero Challenge. Leader Soobin (수빈) and maknae Hueningkai (휴닝카이) teamed up for the game, and the result sent fans into a frenzy. Before starting, the 22-year-old asked his older member for consent, warning that he was planning to go 'all in' to complete the challenge. Sure enough, the singer did just that. As seen in the screenshots above, Hueningkai tilted his head while gently holding Soobin's as he ate the Pepero biscuit from his end, continuing until their lips appeared to touch, leaving just a 1cm piece of the treat. The challenge continued with the other members also taking part – Beomgyu (범규) was paired with Taehyun (태현), while Hueningkai had to do the challenge again, this time with Yeonjun (최연준). Soobin and Hueningkai's Pepero Challenge instantly went viral online, with MOAs (TXT fans) and K-pop enthusiasts alike expressing both amusement and surprise. Many were excited by the two members taking the challenge to the extreme, while others shared clips of other idols who have also gone viral for participating in this intimate game. Fans also defended TXT against 'queerbaiting' allegations, emphasising that the members are simply very comfortable with each other and that their music sales continue to thrive. Would you take on the challenge with your group members? Do you think you can break Soobin and Hueningkai's record? TXT face plagiarism speculations with SHINee's Taemin for the new song ‘Love Language' as their agency's 'shota-like' comment comes forth

TXT , labelmates of BTS, have recently made their much-awaited comeback on May 2 with the new song 'Love Language'; however, things haven't been entirely smooth. Netizens have pointed out similarities between TXT's song and Taemin 's 'Guilty', sparking major debate online. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Fans point out certain similarities between 'Love Language' and 'Guilty' Fans took to online social media platforms and fan forums to share their concerns. Many observed that there were a lot of similarities allegedly between TXT's new song's concept photographs and their choreography and SHINee Taemin 's song 'Guilty'. What only became fuel to the fire was that a past comment from TXT's agency regarding Taemin resurfaced online and caused even more backlash among the community. The specific part of the choreography that prompted fans to start this debate is the move of lifting their shirts and exposing their abs. While the move may not seem something new, its' similarity to Taemin's 'Guilty', which also contains a similar move, prompted fans to discuss the issue. The concept photos for both were also quite similar, according to fans. The agency's comment According to Pinkvilla, a comment made by TXT's agency also sparked outrage online and was called to be 'derogatory' towards the singer. The comment made by the company described Taemin as shota-like, i.e., someone who uses their charm and personality to attract young boys. The comment resurfaced after Taemin's fans wanted to mock the company for using the idol whom they made fun of as 'inspiration'. While the group has had a successful comeback so far, with the song becoming more and more popular after its release, speculations like this keep on arising. While the debate was going on, MOAs (TXT's fans) stood by the K-Pop boy group and defended them by sharing that it is a common move and cannot be plagiarised.
