MP board Class 10 & 12 supplementary exam results likely by July-end

Indore: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is expected to announce results of the second attempt of Class 10 and 12 examinations by July-end. Over 3.3 lakh students from the state had appeared for the supplementary exams this year, which were held from June 17 to July 5. The evaluation process for these papers is currently underway in two distinct phases. The first phase, which began earlier this month, will conclude on July 11. The second phase is scheduled from July 12 to 20. Nearly 10 lakh answer sheets submitted by students, who were not able to score well in one or more subjects in the main board examinations conducted in March, are being evaluated According to MPBSE officials, the results are likely to be declared shortly after the evaluation ends. "The evaluation work is progressing as planned and is expected to conclude by July 20. The results should be out by the end of the month," MPBSE chief systems officer Bhupesh Gupta told TOI. The delay in declaration has left several Class 12 students in a dilemma as the ongoing college admission process in the state is already in its third round. College-level counselling is currently being conducted and the uncertainty over results has made it difficult for many students to secure admissions. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giá vàng đang tăng mạnh trong năm 2025 — Các nhà giao dịch thông minh đã tham gia IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo "I am waiting for my second attempt results as I feel my overall percentage might increase and help me secure admission in a better college as per my percentage," said a student Mohita, who had appeared in Class 12 examination. Students, who will pass the second attempt exams, will receive regular marksheets. Class 10 candidates will be eligible for provisional admission to Class 11, while successful Class 12 candidates may receive conditional admission to undergraduate courses, pending final result confirmation. The supplementary exam initiative, aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, stems from recent amendments to the MPBSE Regulations, 1965. It is designed to provide students with a second opportunity within the same academic session. This move aims to reduce dropouts and support students in overcoming academic challenges. Out of more than five lakh students, who failed in the main exams this year, over 3.3 lakh opted to reappear under this revised provision.
