Latest Madden ratings prove Iowa football is TEU

.@gkittle46 is just on a different Top 10 Tight Ends list!#Madden26Ratings It's long been debated which college football school is tight end U. Schools like Miami, Notre Dame, and even Nebraska have tried to lay claim to that prestigious title. But for anyone who follows the game of college football and the NFL, there's only one real answer to who is TEU: the Iowa Hawkeyes. And they just got some extra proof from an unlikely source. Madden released their top ten ratings for every single position in Madden 26 on Thursday. And Hawkeye fans will have a blast looking at the tight end ratings, which bode very well for Iowa's stake to the TEU moniker. To no one's surprise, former Hawkeye and current San Francisco 49er George Kittle is the highest-rated tight end in the game this year, at an astounding 98 overall. He's five overalls higher than the second-highest rated tight end, Travis Kelce, who's a 93 overall. Kittle has had an incredible career since being drafted in the fifth round in 2017 and is very deserving of being the highest-rated tight end in the game. Two more former Hawkeyes join Kittle on Madden's top ten tight ends in the game list. T.J. Hockenson of the Minnesota Vikings is seventh at an 88 overall, and Sam LaPorta of the Detroit Lions is ninth at an 86 overall. Both of those young NFC North tight ends have had great NFL careers already and should continue to get better as their careers progress. Iowa is the only school to have more than one tight end on this list, which is a great feat for the Hawkeyes and a further reason why Iowa is TEU. They put great tight ends into the NFL yearly and have a great pipeline going all the way back to Dallas Clark. And the Madden ratings only further prove the fact that all Hawkeye fans already know: Iowa is the one and only TEU. Madden 26 player ratings: Trey McBride, Budda Baker are only 90s for Arizona Cardinals

Budda Baker has the fourth-highest rating among all safeties and McBride is No. 3 among tight ends. It is that time of year! The player ratings for the new "Madden NFL 26" video game by EA Sports are getting released. They released the players who got perfect 99 ratings. No Arizona Cardinals players received a 99, which is not surprising. They did have two players with ratings in the 90s. The two were expected — safety Budda Baker and tight end Trey McBride. Madden 26 player ratings: Trey McBride, Budda Baker in 90s Both Baker and McBride are an overall 92. Baker has a 90 speed, 72 strength, 90 agility, 89 change of direction and 93 awareness. McBirde has 87 speed, 73 strength, 76 agility, 72 change of direction and 95 awareness. Among safeties, Baker is No. 4 in overall rating, tied with Miami's Minkah Fitzpatrick. Only Derwin James, Xavier McKinney and Jessie Bates have higher ratings. McBride is No. 3 among tight ends, behind only George Kittle and Travis Kelce. Madden 26 Has 2 New Franchise Mode Elements That Haven't Been Revealed

Madden 26 drops in a little over a week. I'm excited, but there's some cautious optimism around two key new Franchise Mode features. The team at EA is set to deliver a version of Madden Franchise that could be the best we've ever seen—all things considered. I'm basing this on expectations born from what I know about the franchise historically, what I've seen in previews, what I've heard from those with hands-on experience, and what I've read in the deep dives. My confidence level in most of those things is strong, but I'd say I have the least confidence in the information inside the deep dive. It's not that I doubt Madden 26 will have what it says it will have. I wonder if some of the features will carry enough depth to still feel like features once we see it. There are two features that have me both worried and excited. Finally, EA is said to be delivering a legitimate halftime show with highlights and coherent value to Franchise Mode experiences. Trust me, I know—Ultimate Team players could care less about a halftime show, but to us hardcore Franchise Mode players, this has been a long time coming. My only issue at this point is that we haven't seen the halftime show revealed. We know NFL Network's Scott Hanson is voicing the feature, but we haven't seen it in action. In the Franchise Mode deep dive, EA tells us: FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder This all sounds great. How could it not be as it appears? I don't know, but I think that something this potentially cool should have been shared in the form of a video on TikTok, YouTube, IG or something. All we really have is a blurred photo from the Halftime Report of a Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals game. I read the paragraph, but I need to see it to feel it. The other feature is tied into this one, and I'll be honest—I'm shocked this got into the game. The Weekly Wrap-Up Show is a dream come true for me—at least conceptually. As I mentioned with the Halftime Report, how is EA not showing us a glimpse of this in action? This seems like golden footage that could be good to secure more than a few pre-order purchases. However, here we are, August 1, and the game is ready to hit for early access on August 7, and we're still guessing about how this will look when the game is live. I'm taking EA at their word, but I'm also hoping the final version isn't too small to make an impact.

Madden 26: From Josh Allen to Saquon Barkley, 7 NFL stars who made it to this year's 99 ratings club

NFL players who made it to this year's 99 club list ahead of the release of Madden 26 have officially been revealed by the company. A highly exclusive honor, only a few players, based on their OVR ratings and skills, are included as part of the list each year. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (17) warms up during practice at the team's NFL football training camp(AP) 'Introducing your official #Madden26 99 Club Class! Sundays Start Early! 7 Days Early Access Begins 8/7*,' wrote the official page of Madden NFL 26 on social media. Here's a look at who made the cut this year, as revealed by the official website of EA Sports: Ja'Marr Chase (Wide Receiver, Cincinnati Bengals) SPD 95, STR 73, AGI 92, COD 97, INJ 92, AWR 99 Given Ja'Marr Chase's ability to catch and block, it's no surprise that the Bengals wide receiver managed to cut through the list. Josh Allen (Quarterback, Buffalo Bills) SPD 88, STR 81, AGI 85, COD 82, INJ 99, AWR 96 THE 2024 NFL cover star returns to the same list for a consecutive year. Impressive stats (98 stamina and toughness) along with his throwing skills helped secure Allen's spot. Justin Jefferson (Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings) SPD 91, STR 64, AGI 95, COD 98, INJ 94, AWR 99 As the only other wide receiver to enter the list alongside Chase, Jefferson's edge in scoring better marks in the passing category add to his abilities. Lamar Jackson (Quarterback, Baltimore Ravens) SPD 96, STR 63, AGI 94, COD 95, INJ 92, AWR 97 Formerly on the cover of Madden NFL 21, Lamar Jackson brings speed, mobility and impressive throws on the table. Lane Johnson (Right Tackle, Philadelphia Eagles) SPD 77, STR 93, AGI 75, COD 58, INJ 84, AWR 99 Initially drafted with the Eagles back in 2013, Lane Johnson helped the team to a Super Bowl victory during his time as right tackle. Johnson's blocking stats currently cross well over 90 on the board, as reported by ESPN. Saquon Barkley (Halfback, Philadelphia Eagles) SPD 95, STR 81, AGI 95, COD 94, INJ 91, AWR 99 As the cover star for Madden 26, Saquon Barkley certainly takes the biggest slice of the cake this year. Myles Garrett (Right Defensive End, Cleveland Browns) SPD 87, STR 96, AGI 86, COD 71, INJ 92, AWR 97 As the final addition to this year's list, Myles Garrett's archetype falls in the category of being a power rusher. All of these players have an OVR rating of 99. EA Sports is set to officially launch Madden 26 on August 14. The Deluxe Edition can be pre-ordered to play seven days in advance. Madden NFL 26 Top-10 WRs revealed — did Steelers' DK Metcalf make the list?

EA just dropped the top-10 player ratings at each position for Madden NFL 26 — and despite acquiring one of the NFL's top wideouts this offseason, the Steelers were left off the list at receiver. Here are the newly released Madden NFL 26 player ratings for the top-10 wide receivers — with Steelers WR DK Metcalf likely just missing the cut by a few points. Metcalf just missed out on making Madden 26's top-10 wide receivers list with an expected, but unofficial, 88 overall rating. Traded to Pittsburgh this offseason, Metcalf is looking to produce a career year with 20-year veteran QB Aaron Rodgers — another Steeler deserving of a higher Madden rating this season.
