It was a sweet day for Corey Seager's wife, Madisyn, who had a baby shower party. Family, friends, and teammates all came together to show her spa day love ahead of her welcoming a baby boy later in the year.

In attendance were the wives of a handful of Rangers, as well as close friends who have built a familial bond over the months with Madisyn and Corey. Madisyn has made lots of friends in the baseball world, too, and hosted a balloon‑filled party for teammate Shelby Stripling earlier this year.

The spirit of benediction rubbed off today at the shower: loving conversations, laughter, and pointers to the parents‑to‑be created an almost sentimental period setting for the event. The gathering was a palpable testament to Madisyn placing an emphasis on female friendships and shared motherhood experiences.

In March, Madisyn announced her pregnancy with a heartwarming post of the couple on the beach, writing,

has been documenting her journey publicly on social media. During a colour-reveal shoot with blue flowers, she and Corey announced they are having a baby boy.
Madisyn has repeatedly expressed her happiness and thankfulness since, including with this peaceful photo at the Rangers gala, when Corey briefly placed his hand on her stomach — the first sign of many for them both.
