Honor X9c makes its way to India

Following its global announcement in November, the Honor X9c is now making its way to India. The device pairs midrange specs with a focus on durability and a 6,000mAh battery with 66W wired charging. Honor X9c in Titanium Black and Jade Cyan X9c is built around a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz) and is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It also boasts a 108MP main camera (Samsung HM6) alongside a 5MP ultrawide lens and boots MagicOS 9 based on Android 15. Honor X9C also gets an IP65M ingress protection rating, with the M standing for 360° protection from water jets. Honor is also advertising a drop resistance of up to 2 meters, which is SGS certified. The Honor X9c, unveiled last November, is set to debut in India on July 7. Honor hasn't revealed the X9c's Indian pricing yet, but it revealed that the smartphone will be available in the country starting July 12 exclusively through in a single 8GB/256GB configuration. The Honor X9c's specs sheet includes the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, a 6.78" 120Hz 1,224p AMOLED display, and a 6,600 mAh Si/C battery with 66W charging support. The smartphone is IP65 dust and water-resistant and can withstand drops of up to 2m. Honor X6c is now official as the latest budget entry from the brand. It brings a solid list of specs including a 120Hz LCD, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage as well as a 5,300 mAh battery with 35W charging. X6c is built around a 6.61-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at 1,000 nits peak brightness and features a punch hole cutout for the 5MP selfie shooter. The fingerprint reader is integrated into the power button. Honor went with MediaTek's Helio G81 Ultra chipset at the helm paired with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. Honor has released a new MagicOS version for the Honor Magic6 series, version number 9.0.0.175. This includes new AI-powered photo editing tools, some improvements to the UI and the Phantom Engine for gaming. The initial MagicOS 9 update came months ago, this one is a feature-focused update. The Phantom Engine was introduced with the Honor GT models. It predicts heavy frames – ones that will take more time to render – and allocates more resources to rendering them. This helps reduce stutter, but it may increase power consumption and heat. The Phantom Engine comes to the Honor Magic6 series The Phantom Engine has support for Genshin Impact, Honor of Kings, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero and others. The change log for version 175 also includes other features. AI helps remove reflections and wrinkles in photos. You can set alarms for a specific time and date in a floating window. Screen recording and screenshots have been optimized. There is additional customization for the lockscreen too. You can block calls from regional numbers, which can help avoid spam calls.
