Community pantry organizer heartened by bayanihan amid relief ops

The organizer of Community Pantry PH, which conducted relief ops amid the heavy rains and floods this week, took to social media to express her gratitude for volunteers. Patricia "Patreng" Non shared photos of people getting together to pack and serve food despite the stormy weather. On Tuesday, Patreng said that relief operations are underway, with the goal of bringing food to the people affected by the floods in Metro Manila and nearby areas. By afternoon, there were already 101 community kitchens. Patreng Non is one of the organizers of the Maginhawa Community pantry that was set up to provide people with free food during the COVID-19 pandemic and was replicated in many areas. According to PAGASA's morning bulletin on Wednesday, Tropical Depression Dante maintains its strength as it moves northwestward over the Philippine Sea.
