Sri Gouri Priya: Style is comfort with elegance
She is one of the most promising actors in Tollywood today, leaving an impression with her versatile performances in films like MAD, True Love, Mail, Writer Padmabhushan, and more. As actress Sri Gouri Priya inaugurated Haraa Gold & Diamonds showroom at Jubilee Hills, CE caught up with her for a quick chat about her love for jewellery, her personal style, fitness routines, and what keeps her going. Excerpts What do you prefer when it comes to jewellery? I've always been like a kid in a candy store whenever I visit a jewellery shop. I used to go with my mom and cousins and get completely fascinated. I wouldn't say I'm drawn to one particular style; jewellery is something every woman loves, and no matter how much you have, you always want more! That's how it is for me. I do invest in gold whenever I can, be it buying for myself or gifting others. What do you like about this store? I absolutely love how aesthetically and minimally it's designed. The ambience and the vibe are beautiful. What stood out to me is their collection of lightweight jewellery. Given how gold and diamond prices are soaring these days, everyone wants pieces that look grand and elegant but are also budget-friendly. I think this store specialises in offering exactly that, which is fantastic. I definitely recommend that people visit and explore the collection.

Rly now prepares reservation charts 24 hours before train departure
Prayagraj: In a move to enhance passenger convenience and bring transparency to ticketing, Indian Railways initiated a pilot project under which reservation charts will now be prepared 24 hours before train departure. The Prayagraj-Delhi Humsafar Express became first train in the country to implement this change. New system was rolled out on Thursday, with the reservation chart for the train being released late Wednesday night. This pilot project marks a historic shift in Indian Railways' operations and is part of broader efforts under the Digital India initiative and passenger-centric reforms. Until now, Indian Railways prepared the first reservation chart four hours before departure and the second chart just two hours prior. The new system is expected to provide passengers with more time to plan their journeys and make necessary arrangements. According to North Central Railway, this new reservation system will first be applied to Humsafar category trains and will be gradually expanded to include premium trains like Rajdhani, Mail, Express, and Superfast services. By preparing the reservation chart a full day in advance, passengers will be able to view seat availability and confirm reservations well ahead of time, reducing uncertainty and allowing those on the waiting list to consider alternative travel plans. Railway officials believe this change will bring transparency to ticketing process and enhance the overall passenger experience. The updated chart information will be readily available on IRCTC app and website, giving users instant access to reservation details.

Alexander Isak joining Liverpool this summer 'definitely not impossible', Merseyside insider Lewis Steele reveals on the latest Whistleblowers podcast
It is 'definitely not impossible' that Liverpool sign Newcastle striker Alexander Isak this summer, Merseyside reporter Lewis Steele has told the Mail's Whistleblowers podcast. The prolific Swedish forward is one of the hottest properties in European football after bagging 23 goals and 6 assists in the 2024/25 season. Despite splashing £182 million on Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez, the Reds are rumoured to be favourites for Isak should he leave Tyneside. Speaking to Whistleblowers co-hosts Mark Clattenburg and Ian Ladyman, the Mail's Merseyside reporter Steele refused to rule out a potential transfer. 'There's every possibility that Liverpool go for him', Steele told the podcast. 'It's definitely not impossible. Newcastle are already talking money and transfer fees. When clubs do that, it's usually a sign of something. 'Is it likely though? I am not sure. I would still say the odds are still around 30%.' It is 'definitely not impossible' that Liverpool sign Newcastle striker Alexander Isak this summer, Merseyside reporter Lewis Steele has told the Mail's Whistleblowers podcast Reports suggest Newcastle would only consider selling Isak for around £150 million, a fee that would break the British transfer record. The club is in a strong negotiating position, having secured Champions League football and strengthened their PSR position heading into next season. Football's most original new podcast: Whistleblowers Hosted by Gordon Smart, with ex-referee Mark Clattenburg and Mail journalist Ian Ladyman, this isn't another safe roundtable of punditry. It's football told differently - with insight, authority, and plenty of laughs. Listen wherever you get your podcasts now. Former elite referee and Newcastle fan Mark Clattenburg said 'there is a price' where the club should be willing to do business this summer rather than risk a contract standoff in a few years' time. Isak reportedly has two years left on his current deal. However, the ex-official warned that fans 'would go crazy' over any sale, viewing it as the ownership breaking their promise to build an elite European side. 'Every time I have ever heard a club say, a player's not for sale – it's absolute rubbish', Clattenburg said. 'Every player has a price. Newcastle are quoting around £200 million, that's probably a way of saying to the league – you can't afford him. 'The problem Newcastle have got is Isak's contract. At the moment, he's got great value but if he decides to see that contract out - we're left with a Trent Alexander-Arnold situation. 'If they sell him though, the fans will go crazy. Newcastle should be looking to move forward as a club, to start to challenge Liverpool and Man City. 'We all know that the chance of signing top players at Newcastle is slim. They all want to sign for London based teams. That makes it more difficult to replace someone like Isak.' Returning to the odds of a potential transfer this summer, Steele highlighted how Liverpool's Sporting Director Richard Hughes' close relationship with Eddie Howe may prove crucial to any deal. Steele remarked: 'I think Newcastle is scared. If they're talking money, they must fear that Liverpool are coming. 'Richard Hughes is very good friends with Eddie Howe – if he was absolutely not for sale, then he would know that by now. 'The fact they're still sniffing around suggests there is something maybe that could happen in the next few weeks.' Want the full inside story on Liverpool's Isak pursuit? The former journalist, 55, has pulled out all the stops to make sure she looks picture-perfect for the eye-wateringly lavish nuptials, which will be attended by a whole host of Hollywood stars. READ MORE: Jeff Bezos forced to move wedding venue after locals threaten to block Venice canals Prominent among the list, which included names, flight numbers, and hotel destinations - were members of Lauren's 'glam squad', according to the Mail. So, as Ms Sanchez gets ready to waltz down the aisle with one of the richest men in the world, here's all we know about those tasked with giving the bride her perfect day, from the makeup artist who chose Lauren's lippy for her recent trip to space - to a drag queen tailor... Makeup artist Laura Ann Mele Make-up artist, Laura Ann Mele, has been trusted with Lauren's look since at least November 2023, when the former newsreader first appeared on Laura's Instagram page. At the time, the New Yorker got Lauren ready for the Glamour magazine's Women of the Year awards, opting for natural makeup with a sultry shimmer. Laura, who arrived in Venice on June 24, has worked with Lauren several times, including for her 53rd birthday party, multiple award ceremonies, and the bride-to-be's debut Met Gala appearance in 2024. Most recently, she did Lauren's makeup for her much-criticised trip to space on Jeff's Blue Origin rocket. Joined by Katy Perry, Lauren skipped onto the rocket in a skin-tight blue jumpsuit, but was slammed by many for a 'monumental waste of money'. Hairstylist Sophie Rose Another long-standing member of Lauren's glam squad is hairstylist, Sophie Rose. The Californian's name was reportedly on the wedding guest spreadsheet, which is no surprise considering how many times she's worked with Lauren. Lauren often pops up on Sophie's Instagram page, including in March when the celebrity hairdresser shared a picture of her client's 'bridal' look for the Vanity Fair's Oscars party that she attended with Jeff. For the ceremony, the former journalist sported picked a strapless white mermaid gown, with a feathered hem and train, which many thought screamed 'bride to be'. Her long raven locks were styled in tumbling waves, which is a style Sophie might reinvent for the wedding. British makeup artist to the stars Buster Knight Also flying in for the big day is British makeup artist, Buster Knight. The London-based creative shared his flight details on Instagram from the UK earlier this morning before the leaked spreadsheet confirmed Buster's arrival in Italy around lunchtime. Buster has been in charge of several of Lauren's looks, including her appearance at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show in Sardinia last July. While lifting the lid on her makeup for Milan Fashion Week last January, Buster revealed he used Hourglass Cosmetics' lipstick in the shade 'Dove 306' as well as a Kylie Cosmetics mascara over fake lashes from UK-based brand, Eyelure. Dolce and Gabbana executive Samuel Horowitz Dolce and Gabanna executive Samuel Horowitz's name on the list hints that Lauren could be wearing a wedding dress designed by the Italian duo. She's a big fan of the iconic brand, having been spotted at the D&G flagship store in Milan in March armed with huge bags, maybe after a dress fitting. Lauren's son, Nikko, 24, also modelled for the fashion house last year. Drag Queen tailor Mindy L'amour One of the most jaw-dropping names said to be on the list is drag queen tailor, Mindy L'amour. The Californian stylitst specialises in corsets and has dressed a whole host of stars, including drag queens. Lauren is a big fan of a corset, which she's worn to a number of high profile events, including US President Trump's inauguration in January. The bride-to-be ignored the backlash accusing her of dressing inappropriately for the ceremony, as a source close to her reportedly told Page Six: "She does what she wants". Lauren also wore a low-cut white corset for her star-studded hen party in Paris, which was attended by Kim Kardashian, who is also going to the wedding. Maybe Mindy, who shared a video of herself enjoying a water taxi ride upon arrival in Venice earlier today, will be putting Lauren in a corset for her wedding. We can't wait to find out!
