Mumbai: Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar, who have collaborated on films such as 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari', 'Yeh Dillagi', and 'Aarzoo', are reportedly set to reunite for a new movie. If a source is to be believed, Akshay and Saif have come on board together for ace filmmaker Priyadarshan's project titled 'Haiwaan'. The shooting for 'Haiwaan' is expected to commence in August, and the makers are eyeing a grand release in 2026. Saif and Akshay were last seen together in Vijay Krishna Acharya's directorial 'Tashan', which came out in 2008. It also starred Saif's wife and actor Kareena Kapoor Khan in a pivotal role. However, an official announcement regarding the film has not been made yet. Meanwhile, Akshay is basking in the success of his film 'Housefull 5'. As per the makers, the film has reportedly earned Rs 300 crore at the global box office and Rs 200 crore net at the domestic box office in 25 days. It was released on June 6. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Ranjeet, Johny Lever, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chunky Panday, Dino Morea, Sonam Bajwa and Soundarya Sharma. 'Housefull 5' boasts multiple endings. On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan was recently seen in Netflix's film ''Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins', also starring Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta in pivotal roles.

However, singer and actor Raageshwari Loomba has offered a shift in perspective, sharing how the tragedy has brought families closer. She said, "Did you know, after the heartbreaking airplane crash, people started to call their families? I know of two couples who decided to let go of their divorces. Families suddenly allowed their egos to soften, their arguments to be resolved. What shifted? Psychologists say it always takes a calamity for us humans to realise where our blessings lie, and that's why contrast is a must in life." A post shared by Raageshwari 🌏 (@raageshwariworld) She added, "We have to go through the lows to appreciate the highs. We have to go through failures to truly appreciate the joys of success. A calamity like this also makes us pause and reflect on what truly matters—that life is fragile, and relationships are sacred. No wonder a wise person once said, people will forget what you say, what you wear or how you look—but people will never forget how you make them feel. So go ahead, make people feel precious. She emphasised that life is fragile and connection is sacred, adding that no victory in an argument is worth the risk of leaving important words unsaid. She urged people not to wait for sorrow as a reminder. Instead, she encouraged everyone to remember now: to reach out, to forgive, to speak gently, and to live kindly. Fans lauded Raageshwari for 'shifting the perspective'. One of the comments read, 'So true. And really good to see you after such a long time.. teenage nostalgia.' On June 12, a tragic incident unfolded near Ahmedabad airport when a London-bound Air India flight crashed shortly after take-off, with 242 people on board. Emergency response teams rushed to the site, and investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the crash.
