One person was shot in Dayton Saturday afternoon, according to a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor. Child flown to hospital after being hit by car in Greene Co.
A child was flown to the hospital after a crash in Greene County. Around 7 p.m., Greene County Sheriff's Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the 4200 block of Hussey Road for a crash. An OSP sergeant confirmed a child was hit by a car and flown to Dayton Children's Hospital. Troopers said the driver was taken to their post for questioning. We will continue to follow this story. Child in the back of stolen car found safe at local gas station, 1 in custody

Around 3:30 p.m., Dayton police were called to the Sunoco at 1627 East Third after a woman called and said she was assaulted and her car had been taken with her child inside. Dan Perkins with Dayton police. Police learned the man was in the area and found the car and the child at 1290 Woodman Drive. The child was safe and will be returned to their mother. Several dog attacks reported already this year; County task force to present plan
As we approach summer, people are concerned about the number of dog attacks this year. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] News Center 7's Malik Patterson was in Montgomery County looking at what people can do if they come across stray dogs. He will have the latest LIVE on News Center 7 at 5:30. Since January, News Center 7 has reported on more than half a dozen dog attacks. The most recent was on May 24, when seven dogs were on the loose down a bike path, biting people. 'I'd be scared if I saw a bunch of dogs loose,' Neil Harris of Moraine said.
