Lively dancing and a chorus line that would make any theatre director proud demonstrated the dedicated hard work put in during rehearsals. Despite the humid temperatures, spirits remained high for their visit to the city centre on Saturday, July 5. Spectators were seen tapping their feet and even singing along, fully immersed in the infectious energy of the show. This sneak peek served as a taster for WODYS' full production of Footloose which is set to hit the Swan Theatre in Worcester from Tuesday, July 29 to Saturday, August 2. Based on the beloved 1984 film, Footloose tells the heartwarming story of Ren McCormack, a city kid who moves to a small, conservative town where dancing and rock music are outlawed. It's a tale of rebellion, healing and the joy of music that promises an unforgettable experience for all ages. WODYS are renowned for their exceptional youth talent and consistently delivers award-winning performances. Beyond the stage, the group are deeply committed to community engagement and this year they are supporting Malvern Special Families. The charity provides clubs and activities for children and young people with disabilities, offering invaluable support to them and their families.
