Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index advances 0.83%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a positive note on Monday. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 4.59 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 4.26 per cent), Granules India Ltd.(up 3.58 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 2.74 per cent) and J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 1.83 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent), Abbott India Ltd.(down 0.37 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.07 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.83 per cent up at 22410.35. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 67.55 points at 25082.3, while the BSE Sensex stood down 247.01 points at 82253.46. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 ended in the green, while 28 closed in the red. Shares of JP Power, Anand Rathi Wealth, Soma Textiles, Faze Three Ltd and Allied Blenders hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while SKIL Infrastructure, Picturepost Studios, Marshall Machines, Capital Trust and Magnum Ventures hit their fresh 52-week lows. Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index advances 0.35% in a weak market
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded positive around 10:19AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market. ADVERTISEMENT Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 2.69 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 2.4 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent) and Granules India Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent) were among the top gainers. Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.89 per cent), Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.61 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 0.34 per cent) and Biocon Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Pharma index was up 0.35 per cent at 22303.75 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 28.2 points at 25121.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 135.01 points at 82365.46. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red. Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.59%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a negative note on Thursday. Shares of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd .(up 4.69 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 0.69 per cent) and Abbott India Ltd .(up 0.48 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Divi's Laboratories Ltd .(down 2.0 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd .(down 1.92 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent), Alkem Laboratories Ltd .(down 1.52 per cent) and Ajanta Pharma Ltd .(down 1.37 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.59 per cent down at 22076.8. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 120.85 points at 25355.25, while the BSE Sensex stood down 345.8 points at 83190.28. ADVERTISEMENT Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.05 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 0.76 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 0.75 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 0.18 per cent) and Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.16 per cent) were among the top gainers.
