The third and final season of Squid Game was released Friday on Netflix, bringing the hit survival drama to a close. Here are five upcoming Korean shows and movies set for release on streaming services this year. 'Low Life' The adventure crime drama from Big Bet creator Kang Yunsung will have a three-episode premiere July 16 on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the United States. Set in the 1970s, Ryu Seung-ryong and Yang Se-jong star as veteran conman Oh Gwan-seok and his nephew Oh Hee-dong, respectively. Ryu is also known for the hit Korean series Moving. Low Life follows Gwan-seok and Hee-dong as they race to find a rumored sunken treasure ship off the Korean coast, taking on fellow fortune-hunters and underworld baddies along the way. 'Wall to Wall' The thriller film from Unlocked writer and director Kim Tae-joon premieres July 18 on Netflix. Wall to Wall stars Kang Ha-neul as Woo-sung, a new homeowner whose apartment turns into "a nightmare filled with financial ruin and mysterious noises from neighboring floors," according to an official synopsis. Kang is known for playing Dae-ho, aka Player 388, in Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3. The cast also includes Yeom Hye-ran as Eun-hwa, the building representative, and Seo Hyun-woo as Jin-ho, Woo-sung's "suspicious" neighbor who is also curious about the noise. "Unpredictable twists" unfold after other residents blame Woo-sung for the noise and he begins to investigate the true source. 'Trigger' The action thriller series from Kwon Oh-seung, the writer and director of Midnight, debuts July 25 on Netflix. Trigger imagines a gun-free South Korea, where chaos "erupts when illegal firearms suddenly begin to circulate, sparking unprecedented violence," according to an official synopsis. Kim Nam-gil (Song of the Bandits) and Kim Young-kwang (Somebody) star as two men who "take up arms for very different reasons." Kim Nam-gil plays Lee Do, a former military sniper-turned-detective who strives to stop the violence and find the source of the illegal weapons, while Kim Young-kwang portrays Moon Baek, "a mysterious figure" with hidden motives. 'Mantis' Mantis is a spinoff of the 2023 action crime thriller Kill Boksoon. Byun Sung-hyun, the writer and director of the original film, returns to co-write the script with Lee Tae-sung, who directs the new movie. Set in the same universe as Kill Boksoon, Mantis stars Yim Si-wan as Han-ul, aka Mantis, an assassin working for MK Ent. Mantis returns from his "vacation" mentioned in Kill Boksoon to find several skilled assassins vying for the top spot. Yim played Myung-gi, aka Player 333, in Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3. The cast also includes Park Gyu-young (Sweet Home) as Jae-yi, a former MK Ent. assassin who was ousted from the group, and Jo Woo-jin (Narco-Saints) as Dok-go, a retired founding member of MK Ent. and Mantis' mentor. Mantis is set for release on Netflix in the third quarter of the year. 'Good News' Kill Boksoon writer and director Byun Sung-hyun is also working on the thriller film Good News, slated for release on Netflix in the fourth quarter of the year. Set in the 1970s, the movie follows "a covert operation" to save the passengers of a plane that has been hijacked in the air, according to an official synopsis. Pom Klementieff goes braless in a sexy silver chain dress at Mission: Impossible 8 premiere in London
Pom Klementieff went braless under a very racy ensemble at the Mission: Impossible 8 premiere in London on Thursday. The French actress, 39, who has portrayed assassin Mantis in the action films since 2017, looked incredible on the red carpet in Leicester Square. Pom joined her co-stars to celebrate Tom Cruise 's eighth and final instalment, The Final Reckoning - which hits cinemas on May 23. After defying the strict new Cannes Film Festival dress code on Wednesday, Pom certainly wasn't shy of flashing her body in the sexy silver chain dress. With the new but final Mission: Impossible now just days away, fans are more eager than ever to find out how the eight-movie long series will come to its climax. And film lovers could be in for a treat with some early viewers describing the film - which cost almost $400million to make - as 'astonishing'. Following a series of press screenings, movie critics took to social media to gush about the latest instalment in the franchise, calling it 'the action film of the summer.' 'Tom Cruise defies all odds with jaw-dropping action built only for Imax,' wrote critic Anthony Gagliardi. 'Every stunt, every set piece, every second is designed to blow your mind, A PULSE-POUNDING THRILL RIDE, and Cruise remains the king of spectacle,' he added. 'Tom Cruise defies all odds with jaw-dropping action built only for Imax,' wrote critic Anthony Gagliardi. 'Every stunt, every set piece, every second is designed to blow your mind, A PULSE-POUNDING THRILL RIDE, and Cruise remains the king of spectacle,' he added. Fandango's Erik Davis wrote, 'Absolutely astonishing action moments meet a sprawling story with many nods to past MI films. It's the biggest, wildest and most consequential Mission movie yet.' Movie critic Dave Baldwin gushed, 'It's exceptionally entertaining with pulse-pounding stunts that will leave you gasping. Tom Cruise has done it again.' The 62-year-old actor is famous for doing his own very adventurous stunts which have become a hallmark of the franchise. Pom risked falling foul of Cannes Film Festival's strict new dress code in a plunging cleavage-flashing dress on Wednesday And the latest instalment is no different, with one particular shock moment showing the Hollywood star thousdands of feet up in the air as he dangles out of a helicopter before falling backwards to the ground. Paramount Pictures have shared a new video on their YouTube channel using a Snorricam - a camera that locks the camera's perspective to the actor. The nail-biting clip shows Tom leaping out of the helicopter, as well as including some of the decisions that were made by the crew before the stunt took place. Reprising his role as the titular hero Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible, Tom takes on his biggest mission yet, after a tense cliffhanger saw the spy determined to track down cyber weapon The Entity and learning that his team was betrayed and his 'secrets compromised.'

Pom Klementieff and Hayley Atwell stun in chic black dresses as they join Tom Cruise for Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning premiere in Korea
Co-stars Pom Klementieff and Hayley Atwell commanded attention in sexy black ensembles as they stepped out at the Korea premiere of their new movie Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning. Pom, 39, went for a risqué look, with a black, pinstripe ensemble weaving around her neck but leaving much of her chest exposed, as she pouted and posed in Seoul. The backless outfit included an elegant train which draped onto the carpet, drawing attention to pointed, metallic heels. The French actress, who has portrayed assassin Mantis in the action films since 2017, kept things classic with silver earrings and simple makeup as she cast a smouldering glance, with her short ice-blonde tresses slicked back into curled edges, providing a striking contrast to the dark outfit. British actress Hayley was spotted beaming as she modelled a figure-hugging v-necked black dress over a dazzling, bejewelled undergarment. Hayley, 43, who reprises her role as former-thief-turned-IMF-agent Grace, completed the ensemble with a trio of silver hoops on each ear, with her dark tresses pulled back into a sleek style. Tom Cruise, 62, was all smiles in an all-black suit with oversized shades as he formed a heart with his hands, joining his co-stars to promote the highly-anticipated eight film in the Mission Impossible franchise. It marked Tom's twelfth visit to the country for a movie, with his first visit in 1994 with Interview with the Vampire. He gushed: 'Movies are my dream, and coming to Korea is the same. 'It was my dream to come to Korea a long time ago. I can't believe it's already the 12th time I've achieved it. I wonder if it's real. 'It also means that the movie life has been that long. I'm proud to share this work with Korean fans once again, which is a dream and a whole goal of life.' Reprising his role as the titular hero Ethan Hunt, Tom takes on his biggest mission yet, after a tense cliffhanger saw the spy determined to track down cyber weapon The Entity and learning that his team was betrayed and his 'secrets compromised.' The film, which has faced multiple delays, is finally due to hit cinemas on May 23 2025. On Tuesday, the Marvel stars attended the movie's premiere in Tokyo, alongside actors Simon Pegg, Greg Tarzan Davis and Christopher McQuarrie. Pom turned heads in a racy clear plastic midi dress, as she ditched her underwear under the ensemble which boasted a panelled red top and skirt at the front and back. On Saturday, Tom was joined by his rumoured new girlfriend Ana de Armas, whose love affair was confirmed in a DailyMail+ exclusiv e, for David Beckham's star-studded 50th birthday bash, with the star later spotted in a background of a snap shared from the party on Instagram. While Tom had seemingly arrived on his own at the swanky celebrations at Notting Hill's Core restaurant on Saturday, hours later the façade dropped as he was spotted leaving in a car with the actress. The couple made an effort to hide their relationship as they left the venue in the early hours shielded by umbrellas, before ducking behind the seats as they sat together in the back of the vehicle. While they were trying to conceal their appearance together, bleary-eyed Tom appeared to find the whole thing quite amusing as he was spotted laughing and smiling as their sneaky moment was caught on camera. Ana, who was wearing an elegant strappy black dress, meanwhile kept her head down as she avoided being photographed with Tom, following their best efforts to keep their joint attendance quiet. Earlier in the evening, Tom made a low-key arrival at the celebration, following a series of reports that his girlfriend was also invited to the star-studded event. Tom appeared to enter the venue solo, spotted sitting in the back of a black cab as he pulled up to the exclusive spot.

Where the Vogue Team Thinks The White Lotus Season 4 Should Take Place in the Middle East
As speculation swirls around the next destination for HBO's The White Lotus , we couldn't help but imagine what a fourth season set in the Middle East might look like. With its storied landscapes, luxury resorts, and rich layers of culture, the region offers a wealth of potential for Mike White's next satire of the ultra-wealthy. From secret affairs in desert oases to spiritual awakenings gone awry by the sea, the Arab world is ripe for a season full of intrigue, opulence, and underlying dread. We asked the Vogue Arabia team to play location scout and each nominate a dream resort—one that feels tailor-made for the twisted beauty of The White Lotus universe. Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea, Jordan Photo: Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea Leen Al Saadi, Digital Editor: 'Few places feel as spiritually charged—and as symbolically ripe—as the Dead Sea. At the ultra-luxe Kempinski Hotel Ishtar, perched on the edge of the world's lowest point, the silence is almost sacred. But in true White Lotus fashion, it wouldn't stay that way for long. With its sprawling infinity pools, date palm-lined walkways, and dramatic sunsets over still, salt-laden waters, the setting is made for slow-burning tension. Here, a detox retreat could spiral into psychological warfare; a family reunion could unearth buried generational rifts; a honeymoon might unravel under the weight of unspoken truths. The contrast between ancient land and modern decadence is fertile ground for mystery and mayhem. And after all, it's called the Dead Sea—what more could Mike White ask for?' Hawar Resort by Mantis, Bahrain Photo: Hawar Resort by Mantis Hafsa Lodi , Features Editor: 'Picture this: a Maldivian-esque escape, luxurious water villas and all, in the middle of the Middle East. Not on the oft-visited Palm island of Dubai, or up and coming Red Sea project of Saudi, but rather, in the comparatively quiet yet culturally – rich kingdom of Bahrain. Hawar Resort by Mantis opened in January 2025 on Bahrain's Hawar Island, and it is the perfect backdrop for an intimate retreat. Private beaches, overwater villas and a focus on preserving the island's natural ecosystem make this environmentally-conscious resort stand out from others in the region. Rooted in high-standing ethics and principles, Hawar Resort could be just the setting for a show highlighting the opposite – high stakes drama, fickle friendships and dysfunctional relationships. Viewers would surely tune in to see the stunning scenery of Bahrain's Hawar island, and also, to witness the scandals, shocking contrasts and theatrics promised by a season of White Lotus on this pristine island just a boat drive away from central Bahrain.' Shangri-la Al Husn, Oman Photo: Shangri-la Al Husn Markus Gortz Nitya Chablani, Beauty Editor: 'Few properties can compete with the serene beauty of the Shangri-la Al Husn, nestled in the heart of Muscat's dazzling landscape. With its sweeping views, luxe interiors and hypnotically scented hallways, nothing could possibly go wrong for holiday-goers — unless of course, we twisted the scenario into a White Lotus venue. The hotel's beautifully put-together spa is the perfect spot for mid-massage revelations, while the deep blue waters that extend from the Shangri-la's pristine beach were made for romantic excursions — or perhaps a milestone moment with family amid the dolphins. As for the rocky terrains that are staple to Oman's scenery? Think of them as a metaphor for all the drama that could unfold within Oman's most sought after holiday destination.' Banyan Tree AlUla, Saudi Arabia Nadine ElChaer , Arabic Director: 'With its otherworldly landscape and unshakable stillness, Banyan Tree AlUla feels like a scene straight out of a beautifully shot drama—perhaps even the next White Lotus . Nestled in Saudi Arabia's enchanting Ashar Valley, this tented desert retreat is more than just a hotel; it's a poetic escape suspended between ancient history and contemporary luxury. Think soaring sandstone cliffs, handcrafted Arabian details, and villas that blend so seamlessly into the earth, they almost disappear. With easy access from Riyadh, Jeddah, and even Dubai, it's the perfect setting for secrets, slow-burn tension, and undeniable cinematic flair.' The Chedi, El Gouna Egypt Photo: The Chedi, El Gouna Lara Akkari , Fashion Features Editor: 'You can imagine it. The lead heroine in a tangled love tryst lifts her sunglasses to squint lazily over the shimmering Red Sea, blissfully unaware of the drama about to unfold–cue suspenseful music and the lingering, slightly unnerving gaze of the brazen, overly attentive concierge. The luxurious stillness of The Chedi in El Gouna, with its desert-inspired gardens, endless blue waters, and crisp white Egyptian cotton (possibly soon blood-stained)–sets the stage for emotional and psychological mayhem just waiting to unfold. The calm is almost too composed, too pristine. Something is bound to unravel. Then comes the contrast: sun-drenched leisure, subtle cultural friction and an undercurrent of delicious unpredictability. Even the wholesome bits like kite surfing, quad biking, admiring the sunset, could go fantastically, cinematically awry. Add in some light-hearted Egyptian satire, and you've got a cultural comedy of errors of the most watchable kind. I'm tuning in.' Qasr Al Sarab - Desert Resort by Anantara at Liwa, Abu Dhabi Photo: Qasr Al Sarab - Desert Resort by Anantara at Liwa Bahaar Peshawaria , Art Production Manager: 'Just think of the drama unraveling against a backdrop of endless dunes, where ultra-luxury pool villas and ornate interiors of Al Qasr Sarab Anantara at Liwa, Abu Dhabi create the illusion of serenity. Here, the golden sun could soften everything—except the truth. Between the sweeping arches, intricate carvings and flickering lanterns, the sand-coloured walls of the resort melt into the landscape, blurring the line between what's real and not. A picture-perfect anniversary or a solo trip meant for reflection could stir up something far less peaceful. Outside, palm trees sway gently in the desert breeze, but inside, quiet conversations and lingering glances could suggest that not everything is as it seems. Even the light here has secrets—casting shadows that seem to have a story of their own. With the silence of the desert and the mirage of perfection, this could just be the show's most intoxicating setting yet. At Qasr Al Sarab, beauty is everywhere—but in true White Lotus style, peace is never guaranteed.' Hotel Albergo, Beirut, Lebanon This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from. Dana Sharawneh, Editorial Assistant: "The Bride of the Middle East has long been celebrated for its world-class hospitality, specifically Beirut, its vibrant capital and embodiment of Mediterranean majesty. Perhaps the most unique among its hotels is Albergo, a gorgeous 33-suite Relais & Châteaux property in the Achrafieh district. Of palatial grandeur, the hotel's premises are a match-made-in-heaven with the uninhibited explosiveness of White Lotus -ian drama - be it in its five-star rooms, decadent spa, or spectacular dining destinations. And one can only imagine the magnitude of neuroticism to be unleashed as one exits the hotel's lavish hallways, inspired by Lebanese culture and fuelled by the limitlessness of the seaport city's vast waters and limitless skyline.

Get Free Marvel Rivals Skins From Season 2's Cerebro Database Event, Twitch Drops and More
Marvel Rivals season 2 is themed around Krakoa's Hellfire Gala -- and you certainly can't party on the living island without dressing up. Luckily for you, the there are many ways to unlock some free skins in the hit hero shooter right now -- including a new seasonal event that unlocks a free Mantis skin. The Cerebro Database event is the debut seasonal event for Marvel Rivals season 2, and it's a fairly standard challenge-based event. Different rewards include chrono tokens for the battle pass, units to spend on shop skins and other odds and ends, but the big ticket item is the Mantis Flora Maiden skin. Outside of the latest event, there are still other ways to earn free skins right now. Whether you're trying out newly buffed characters like the immortal Iron Fist or you're getting in playtime on the latest addition to the Vanguard roster by throwing enemies around with Emma Frost, season 2 has introduced a new slate of free skins that you can use to deck out your favorite characters. Here's what you should know about the Cerebro Database event and the rest of the free skin lineup at the beginning of Marvel Rivals season 2. The Cerebro Database event is live now. It began with the launch of the season 2 patch on April 11 and ends on May 9. While this event is fairly easy, the presentation might confuse some players. As with any Marvel Rivals event, you'll need to complete challenges to earn rewards. In this event, though, each featured character (Emma Frost, Wolverine, Black Panther and Namor) has nine unique challenges arranged in a 3x3 board. You don't need to complete all 36 challenges to receive all of the event rewards. Instead, you need to complete enough challenges to make three separate horizontal, vertical or diagonal lines on all four boards in order to finish the event. Basically, you're playing tic-tac-toe to quickly make three lines on all of the boards to earn your rewards as efficiently as possible. Like most Marvel Rivals events, several characters' boards are time-gated, which means that the most enterprising players will only be able to unlock the Mantis Flora Maiden skin starting on April 23. Until then, you can earn chrono tokens, units, sprays and gallery pages. Players who link their Twitch account or Marvel Unlimited account to their Marvel Rivals account right now can nab a free Namor and Thing skin, respectively. But if you only care about rewards you can earn in-game, a new Emma Frost skin is available by progressing through the competitive ladder, new Iron Fist and Magik looks are available for free on the season 2 battle pass and a Scarlet Witch skin is currently unlockable just for playing a few quick matches. There are currently 11 free skins available. Here's how you get them: Mantis Flora Maiden: Complete the Cerebro Database event challenges on all four characters by May 9 to unlock this skin. Scarlet Witch Chaos Gown: Complete nine quick play, competitive or practice vs. AI matches by April 25 to unlock this skin. Namor Will of Galacta: To claim this skin, you'll need to link a Twitch account to your Marvel Rivals account and then watch four hours of livestreams from streamers participating in the drop campaign. If you're unsure about which channels are partnered with Marvel Rivals, look for the mention of "Drops" in the stream title. This skin is only available until Wednesday, April 30. The Thing Unlimited: Sign up for Marvel Unlimited by April 16 at 12 a.m. ET to receive a promo code for this skin. Codes will be emailed to eligible users starting on April 25. Emma Frost Golden Diamond: Reach Gold rank or higher in competitive mode in season 2. You must play at least 10 competitive matches to be eligible to receive the skin. Magik Retro X-Uniform: Reach page 3 in the season 2 battle pass by June 11. Iron Fist Immortal Weapon of Agamotto: Reach page 9 in the season 2 battle pass by June 11. Four of the currently available free skins are not time-gated, though they are locked behind achievements or platform exclusivity. Here are the Marvel Rivals skins you can unlock at any time: Spider-Man Scarlet Spider: This skin is available to PS Plus subscribers who play the game on the PS5. It can be found on the PSN Store under Marvel Rivals DLC. Peni Parker Ven#m: Like the Scarlet Spider skin, this Ven#m skin is only available for PS Plus subscribers and can be found in the PSN Store. Storm Ivory Breeze: Earn 200 Achievement Points in the Heroic Journey achievement section. Star-Lord Jovial Star: Earn 400 Achievement Points in the Heroic Journey achievement section. There are many different ways to get skins in Marvel Rivals. Sometimes the developer issues special codes to unlock them, while others require completing challenges. There are also some made available by watching streams on Twitch and many skins are "free" for progressing through the Marvel Rivals Battle Pass, which costs 990 Lattice, or approximately $10. You can also earn skins through regularly playing the game, as a free skin is frequently awarded with the completion of seasonal events. Players who reach gold rank or higher in competitive also receive a free skin as a reward for their performance. Live events like Cerebro Database include free skins as a completion reward. Twitch drops, battle passes and promo codes get cycled in and out of rotation, allowing Marvel Rivals players to earn different free skins from engaging with the game during different events. Here are all of the previously available free skins, what season they were introduced in and how they were obtainable.
