My favourite Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume has been reduced
The Marc Jacobs Daisy perfumes have been in circulation since 2007, and there are now more than 14 varieties. From Daisy glow to Daisy wild, the designer has released the bestseller in a series of sweet, zingy and youthful iterations, yet I'll always come back to the original. There's a reason it's so popular. The scent is floral with a universal appeal. Reports even suggest that the Daisy eau de toilette accounts for a fifth of Marc Jacobs's total fragrance sales. Naturally, with so many of us – myself included – being fans, I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a price drop. And, finally, there is a generous 27 per cent discount on the perfume's 50ml size (was £73, now £52.95, The perfume settles down onto the skin with notes of white violet and jasmine. It has berry top notes – strawberries, specifically – but these mellow out to reveal a warmer sandalwood base. In my review of all the best Daisy perfume s, I praised how the fragrance wears well from day to night and found it to be a 'clean, warm and slightly zesty' scent. Having worn the original Daisy variety for years, it has an impressive staying power. Just a few spritzes last from morning through lunch. As with most perfumes, it does need a top-up after four or five hours, but I've been complimented on my scent while wearing it, including when it nears the end of its potency. Currently, the scent has been reduced in its 30ml (was £52, now £38.95, 50ml and 100ml (was £99, now £74.25, bottles, but the 50ml size has the most hefty discount. Having scanned over the prices of the best perfumes – including Daisy – I'll admit that reductions on Marc Jacobs aren't rare. Then again, these discounts tend to hover between 10 to 20 per cent, so I wouldn't hang about if you're looking to take advantage of Allbeauty's extra generous reduction.

LVMH eyes Marc Jacobs sale amid portfolio reshuffle efforts
NEW YORK CITY, New York: Marc Jacobs, once a crown jewel in LVMH's fashion portfolio, may soon find a new home. The French luxury conglomerate is in advanced talks to sell the American label, according to sources familiar with the matter. The discussions are ongoing with several potential buyers, including Authentic Brands Group, owner of Reebok, and brand management firm WHP Global. Both declined to comment or did not immediately respond. Bluestar Alliance, which owns Brookstone and recently acquired Off-White from LVMH, is also reportedly in the running. A deal could value Marc Jacobs at around US$1 billion, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the development. LVMH, Marc Jacobs, and Bluestar Alliance have not responded to requests for comment. In 2024, Bloomberg reported that LVMH was evaluating strategic options for the brand, though LVMH denied the claim at the time. Founded in 1984 by designer Marc Jacobs, the brand is known for its eclectic, irreverent aesthetic that blends luxury with streetwear. LVMH acquired a stake in the label after naming Jacobs the creative director of Louis Vuitton in 1997, a post he held until 2013. The potential sale reflects a broader portfolio reshaping by LVMH. Last year, it sold streetwear label Off-White to Bluestar Alliance, and earlier this year, designer Stella McCartney repurchased LVMH's minority stake in her eponymous label. While McCartney will continue advising LVMH on sustainability, the move marked another step away from the group's diversification strategy in fashion. A sale of Marc Jacobs would mark a significant shift for LVMH, which is navigating a softer luxury market and intensifying global competition. The company's second-quarter earnings came in slightly below expectations, though executives noted signs of recovery in the Chinese market, a critical growth engine. Analysts say LVMH appears focused on its core powerhouses, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Tiffany & Co., and may be trimming niche or underperforming assets to tighten focus and unlock capital. If finalized, the Marc Jacobs sale would follow a string of high-profile deals reshaping the luxury sector, including Prada's $1.4 billion acquisition of Versace from Capri Holdings earlier this year.

Is LVMH About to Sell Marc Jacobs?
Rumors have surfaced from theWall Street Journalthat luxury groupLVMHis considering selling offMarc Jacobs, which it acquired a stake in following the designer's appointment toLouis Vuittonin 1997. After almost three decades, the American designer's label could be acquired by another group for roughly $1B USD. According to sources close to the matter, LVMH has discussed a potential deal with Reebok ownerAuthentic Brands,Vera WangownerWHP Global, andBluestar Alliance, which recently acquiredPalm AngelsandOff-White. Per WSJ's sources, the deal could be closing very soon. The news breaks as LVMH continues to struggle through the 'luxury slowdown,' a widespread market slump that began in early 2024, resulting in decreasing sales across the sector. Notably, the group, which owns Louis Vuitton, Dior, Loewe, Fendi, and more, reported a9% decrease in Fashion and Leather goods sales, its largest source of revenue. 'We will not keep brands if we believe they are not a good add-on, or we are not the right operator to operate them,' said LVMH Chief Financial Officer Cécile Cabanis during the earnings investor call last week. If the sale goes through, Marc Jacobs will become yet another one of the contemporary labels to be removed from LVMH's roster in the last year. In September 2025,Virgil Abloh's 2012-founded labelOff-WhitewassoldtoBluestar Alliance. In January, the group also sold its stake in Stella McCartney's 2001-founded eponymous brand. However, if Marc Jacobs does indeed gain new ownership, how could this change affect Marc Jacobs' brand prestige? Having been among the world's foremost fashion houses like Louis Vuitton, the brand has greatly benefited from its associations with high luxury. A sale to any of the parties mentioned would inevitably be a step down from LVMH's powerful position in the luxury sector.

Louis Vuitton's parent company LVMH is planning to sell this popular designer label
Luxury conglomerate LVMH is reportedly considering selling a popular fashion label they hold amid a portfolio reshuffling. Facing a recent profit dip of 22% and a 4% sales decline, LVMH is exploring options for the brand, potentially valued at $1 billion. Authentic Brands Group, WHP Global, and Bluestar Alliance are among interested buyers. Looks like big changes might be brewing at LVMH. The French luxury giant is reportedly in talks to sell Marc Jacobs, and the deal could be worth a cool $1 billion. Yup, that's billion with a 'B'. According to reports from The Wall Street Journal, LVMH has been chatting with a few major players in the game, including Authentic Brands Group (you know, the folks who own Reebok) and WHP Global, which owns the Vera Wang brand. There's also talk of Bluestar Alliance throwing its hat in the ring. If the name sounds familiar, that's because they also scooped up Off-White from LVMH not too long ago. Clearly, they've got a thing for buzzy fashion labels. So, why is LVMH looking to part ways with Marc Jacobs now? The group recently revealed that its net profit for the first half of 2025 dropped 22%, down to €5.7 billion. Sales also took a bit of a hit, falling 4% to €39.8 billion. With economic conditions being all over the place globally, it seems like LVMH is tightening up and reshuffling its fashion portfolio. But recently, it's been buzzing again, thanks to clever social media moments and some solid street-style cred. Word is, LVMH had already started exploring options for the brand last year, after getting some interest from buyers. And they've been making similar moves elsewhere too, designer Stella McCartney recently bought back her stake from LVMH, and as mentioned, Off-White was sold off earlier. So, is Marc Jacobs really on its way out of the LVMH family? We'll have to wait and see, but it definitely looks like something big is brewing.
