Ravi Teja's nephew Maadhav makes debut with ‘Maremma'; FL unveiled

A new face from the Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's family is all set to enter the film industry. Maadhav, son of actor Raghu and Ravi Teja's nephew, is making his lead debut with a rustic action drama titled Maremma. Directed by Manchala Nagaraj and produced by Mayur Reddy Bandaru under Moksha Arts (Production No. 1), the film promises an intense rural backdrop with a powerful narrative. The makers unveiled the film's title and first look poster, introducing Maadhav in a raw, rugged avatar. Sporting a checkered shirt, lungi, and a towel over his shoulders, Maadhav exudes the spirit of a fierce village youth. His untamed hair and thick beard add to the gritty aesthetic, while a buffalo positioned behind him in the poster symbolizes strength and dominance. The long stick in his hand further amplifies his commanding presence. Manchala Nagaraj has crafted a compelling script to present Maadhav in a dynamic, massy role. The actor is said to have undergone a significant makeover for this powerful debut. The film stars Deepa Balu as the female lead, alongside seasoned actors like Vinod Kumar, Vikas Vasishta, Dayanand Reddy, and V.S. Rupa Lakshmi in key roles. On the technical front, Prasanth Ankireddy is handling the cinematography, music is composed by Prashanth R Vihari, with Dev Rathod as the editor and Rajkumar Murugesan as the art director. Maremma is shaping up to be an exciting launchpad for the young actor.

Authorities examine feasibility of seaplane service at Sileru

Visakhapatnam : Officials from AP Genco and the revenue department jointly visited the Guntawada reservoir to assess its suitability for launching a seaplane service between Visakhapatnam and Sileru in GK Veedhi mandal. The team, including local AP Genco officials and GK Veedhi Tahsildar Rama Krishna, inspected potential landing sites and related infrastructure. According to sources, the team examined several locations near the local Maremma temple, including the bathing ghat, the lower section of the main dam, and the catchment areas of the earth dam. Tahsildar Rama Krishna stated that the state govt had directed them to identify feasible sites for the proposed seaplane service from the Sileru region. Earlier this year, in late January, officials from the state tourism department, airline representatives, and AP Genco conducted a drone survey of the Jolaput reservoir and Sileru areas to explore a potential Rushikonda–Jolaput water aviation route connecting Araku. Data from the Jolaput catchment area was also collected during that survey. The Tahsildar noted that a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the seaplane service is currently being prepared. He suggested that the area near the temple appears suitable for operations. He was accompanied by Sileru Hydro Power Project Complex Superintendent Engineer Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Executive Engineer Srinivasa Reddy, and other engineering and revenue staff during the site visit. The state govt is actively working to introduce seaplane services across multiple destinations. A trial run was conducted on November 9 last year with chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and civil aviation minister Rammohan Naidu on board. The govt has reportedly identified Amaravati, Tirupati, Gandikota, and five other locations for the rollout.
