How to Have an Effortlessly Stylish Approach
Maintaining a personal style doesn't have to be a full-time job, even in a world of fashion trends and influencers. It is easy, effortless, and firmly ingrained in cultural confidence for both men and women in Pakistan to look nice. Regardless of your preference for traditional attire or your willingness to experiment with western wear, you may turn heads with a little smart clothing and an awareness of what suits you, without having an extensive wardrobe or a professional stylist. Here's the Pakistani technique of staying fashionable without going overboard. In Pakistan, some clothing items remain timeless. A white kurta, shalwar, and traditional khussas can improve your look. These clothes are suitable for casual and formal events. You can wear them to work, brunch, or gatherings. Women can look elegant in neutral kurtis and lawn prints with little embroidery. Men can wear solid kurtas with chinos or jeans for a stylish blended look. Overthinking often starts with not knowing what to pair with what. Keep your color scheme consistent to streamline your selections. In Pakistan, earthy hues, pastels, and monochromes are popular-and they're simple to match. Almost any dupatta would look good with a beige kurta. Both white and gray shalwars look good with a navy-blue waistcoat. You'll feel lost all the time if your clothes are full of bright colors and designs that clash. Time and mental work can be saved by keeping your clothes color-coordinated. The power of accessories in Pakistani fashion is underrated. A simple jhumka, a plain dupatta with lace edging, or a leather strap watch can do wonders. The secret is to stay within reasonable bounds. Having too many accessories might take away from the charm of your ensemble and make it appear crowded. Simple clothing can be made more fashionable with a striking ring or a chic tote bag. For men, a traditional ajrak stole or a classy watch can complete the look effortlessly. When you have too many clothes and not enough decent selections, you tend to overthink your outfits. Develop a sensible wardrobe rather than purchasing every new thing that comes up for sale. The fashionable ready-to-wear items from Pakistani companies like Generation, Khaadi, Maria B, and Bonanza Satrangi are now appropriate for a range of settings. Look for versatile pieces. Can this kurta be worn at a casual dinner and a formal lunch? Can this dupatta go with more than one suit? The more multi-functional your pieces are, the less you'll overthink getting dressed. Understanding what fabrics work for each season in Pakistan helps you look put-together. In summer, lawn and cotton suits keep you cool and effortlessly chic. In winter, switch to linen, karandi, or velvet with embroidered shawls or pashmina wraps. Don't wear silk or chiffon in humid Karachi weather-it's uncomfortable and looks forced. Dressing seasonally makes you appear more fashion-conscious without much thought. It also improves comfort, which reflects positively in how you carry yourself. You don't need to imitate Western trends to look stylish. Embracing local patterns, cuts, and embroideries adds authenticity to your outfit. Block prints, mirror work, and Sindhi or Balochi motifs are beautiful, unique, and deeply cultural. Mixing Eastern wear with subtle Western touches-like pairing a kurti with denim or a dupatta with a maxi dress-can also help you create a personal style. But keep the balance so your look remains rooted and relatable. If you're in a hurry in the morning, you'll probably grab the first thing you see and subsequently regret it. Spend a few minutes organizing your attire the evening before. Make sure your shoes are ready, iron it, and match it with accessories. You will leave the house looking put together and free of morning indecision thanks to this easy practice. You may even make your go-to looks for various occasions, like a wedding dholki, a business meeting, or a casual coffee date, so you never have to worry about what to wear. One is confident in their attire. Not only are they well-dressed, but stylish people also have confidence in their decisions. Carry your outfit well, and even a simple kurta can make a statement. The way you carry yourself-posture, grooming, and attitude will all determine the perception of your style. In Pakistan, you don't have to spend hours looking through Instagram or going to the mall every day to stay stylish. You may look effortlessly stylish every day by adhering to classics, carefully selecting your clothes, and having faith in your own style. Embrace Pakistani style with confidence and let your clothing showcase the greatest aspects of comfort and culture. Pakistani style is rich, bright, and expressive. TIME BUSINESS NEWS

Defence counsel Imaan Mazari along with Hadi Ali Chattha, appearing on behalf of Shehzad , informed the court that the power of attorney would be submitted at the next hearing. The court directed both parties to submit their written replies and scheduled arguments on the stay application for the next session. The hearing was adjourned until July 14. Previously, Shehzad published a video on his YouTube channel stating that he had received a court summons for Monday's proceedings but had yet to receive formal details of the case or specific charges. He said he suspected a First Information Report (FIR) may have been filed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and subsequently forwarded to the court. Shehzad explained that the legal action originated from a civil defamation notice issued by Maria B but had escalated to a criminal complaint through the FIA an approach he described as excessive and aimed at curbing dissent. He maintained that his critical remarks were opinion-based and did not meet the legal threshold for defamation under Pakistani law. Content creator Türkan Atay accused the Maria B of failing to fulfil an agreed compensation arrangement following a promotional shoot in Istanbul. In a social media video, Türkan said the brand had accepted a 'per outfit' pricing model that factored in videography, location, and editing. 'They even agreed to it. I have all the messages,' she said. After the content was delivered, Türkan claimed the brand shifted its stance, offering payment on a 'per reel' basis instead. 'They told me, 'Oh, sorry. There's been a misunderstanding. We pay international influencers per reel,'' she recalled. Maria B responded through an Instagram Story, calling the situation 'a regrettable misunderstanding' and denying any failure to pay. 'In our 25 years, we have neither withheld payment nor retracted from our commitments,' the statement read, citing a long-standing record of fair influencer collaborations.

Shehzad Ghias claims Maria B sued him for defamation
Pakistani YouTuber, comedian, and podcaster Shehzad Ghias Shaikh has claimed he may face arrest or detention next week in connection with a defamation case involving fashion designer Maria B, being pursued through the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). In a video published on his YouTube channel, Ghias claimed that he had received a court summons for Monday, but that the official details of the case, including the charges, remained unclear. 'I have no idea what I've been summoned for. I've received no case details,' Ghias said in the video, adding that he feared a First Information Report (FIR) may have been filed by the FIA and subsequently forwarded to the court. He said that Maria B initially issued a civil legal notice against him for defamation but later pursued criminal defamation charges through the FIA, a move he described as disproportionate and intended to silence dissent. 'They didn't go for a civil suit; they went straight to the FIA,' he said, adding that his criticism of Maria B's actions was based on opinion and did not meet the threshold for defamation under Pakistani law. Ghias also claimed that the complaint stemmed from his previous commentary and content, including episodes discussing Maria B and influencer-related issues, though he asserted he never initiated a smear campaign or intentionally defamed anyone. 'I never even named her in recent videos. There were far more damaging things I could have done, and I didn't.' He further said the pressure campaign was part of a wider 'elite culture of silencing critics' in Pakistan, adding: 'The rich in this country think they can use any institution — the FIA, the courts — to crush dissent.' In a tweet accompanying the video, Ghias wrote:'For months Maria B has been using the FIA to silence us. I have been summoned by the court on Monday now, where I might be arrested or detained… Imagine – going to jail over a joke? Does freedom of speech even exist in Pakistan anymore?' Turkish influencer accuses Maria B of evading payment
In posts shared on Instagram on Sunday, Turkish content creator Türkan Atay accused Pakistani clothing brand Maria B for evading payment that the influencer claims the two parties agreed on. Türkan began by mentioning that she shot a reel for the brand in Istanbul earlier this year and negotiated her terms. "Basically, for shooting in Istanbul, the cost is divided based on the shoot's location, videography, video editing, and so on. So I gave them a price per outfit. They even agreed to it. I have all the messages," she said. Once the video was done, however, Türkan claimed that the brand backtracked by not giving her the discussed amount, prompting her to reach out. "So I said, 'Look, this isn't what we talked about. We agreed on a 'per outfit' payment. The messages clearly state that.' They told me, 'Oh, sorry. There's been a misunderstanding. We pay international influencers on a 'per reel' basis." The content creator assured her followers that she was not doing this out of desperation for money but for self-respect. "I've been going over this with them for 3 months now," she said. "The amount isn't even all that much for you. Just give me my due payment, and I'll give it to those who deserve it. And I will never collaborate with you again." In a follow-up video, Türkan shared screenshots of her communication with the brand's executives. She claimed that her politeness was only met with disregard. "It's not about money, it's about being respectful to the people you collaborate with." In response, the official account of Maria B took to Instagram Stories to issue a statement regarding the matter. Priding its transparent partnership with the digital community, the brand said, "Over the years, we have successfully collaborated with hundreds of influencers and content creators, ensuring fair compensation and mutual respect in all engagements. And we are proudly known for our best payment practices. In our 25 years, we have neither withheld payment nor retracted from our commitments." The statement added that the recent controversy "was a regrettable misunderstanding that we were committed to resolve." However, the brand denied the accusation of withholding payment. "A meeting had been set up to address the issue, but the influencer chose to make a defaming reel instead of accepting to resolve the issue amicably," the statement further read. "We regret the misunderstanding. We remain committed to supporting the creative community and continuing to build respectful, transparent relationships with all our collaborators."

Maria B served legal notice by Turkish influencer for unpaid dues
Listen to article Pakistani designer Maria B is facing legal action from Turkish influencer Türkan Atay, who has accused the brand of failing to fully compensate her for work on a campaign shoot in Türkiye earlier this year. Atay, who is married to a Pakistani and affectionately known online as 'Pakistani Bhabhi,' issued a legal notice on Thursday demanding $8,000 in unpaid dues and a formal public apology. The sum includes the outstanding campaign payment, legal costs, and compensation for mental distress. Atay alleges she was hired to manage a shoot for Maria B's 2025 collection and was promised payment per outfit, inclusive of production costs. However, she claims the brand later issued a lump-sum payment, citing a misunderstanding. 'To support her claims, Atay shared alleged screenshots of messages with the brand's PR manager. 'Per outfit with touristic location and professional video [redacted] USD,'' she wrote in one message. The manager reportedly responded with an admission: 'God knows how I missed the per outfit part.' The dispute has since become a public spat. Atay posted a series of Instagram videos asserting that she had been negotiating for three months, only to be blocked by Maria B on social media. 'She cannot bear to apologise. That's why she has blocked me and other people,' Atay claimed. In a video response, Maria B blamed the issue on a 'junior PR girl' and stated, 'At Maria B, we don't throw people under the bus.' She added that Atay had received clothes worth 'lacs' and rejected offers to settle privately. The brand has called the situation a 'payment misunderstanding,' criticising Atay's videos as 'defamatory content.' A formal statement noted, 'Full payment was offered, and multiple attempts were made to resolve the matter privately.' The legal notice, filed on April 24, claims the influencer has suffered reputational harm and financial loss due to 'baseless and defamatory' allegations made by the brand. It warns that failure to meet the demands within seven days may result in legal proceedings.
