Barbie Forteza spotted at David Licauco's reunion dinner with Dustin Yu
Netizens were sent abuzz after Barbie Forteza was spotted during David Licauco's reunion dinner with Dustin Yu. In Nelson Canlas' report on '24 Oras Weekend' on Saturday, David said that the dinner took place at a restaurant in Tomas Morato. 'Kasi galing kami sa GMA kasi we had a shoot for the Station ID and then, 'yun, after that, I invited Dustin na magkita nga kami,' David said. 'And 'yun, to my surprise, andun din si Barbie. Nagkataon lang na nando'n siya,' he added. David celebrated his 31st birthday last month. Barbie greeted him with a short message posted on X (formerly Twitter). "Happy birthday, Alexander @davidlicauco," she wrote. "Sana palagi kang happy & healthy. Always proud of you." Barbie and David became a love team when they starred together as Fidel and Klay in "Maria Clara at Ibarra." On X (formerly Twitter), the Kapuso Primetime Princess wrote a short message for the Pambansang Ginoo. "Happy birthday, Alexander @davidlicauco," she wrote. "Sana palagi kang happy & healthy. Always proud of you." David's full name is David Alexander Licauco. Barbie and David became a love team when they starred together as Fidel and Klay in "Maria Clara at Ibarra." David Licauco proud of Barbie Forteza's fitness journey
David Licauco is very supportive of Barbie Forteza's fitness journey! In Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday, the Pambansang Ginoo said that as an athletic person himself, he sees Barbie's determination. "From one person na hindi nag-work out at all to 16 kilometers. At nang sabi niya sa akin kanina hindi daw siya nahihirapan. So she has been really working hard," David said. "She's very athletic now and I'm really proud of you," he said. Meanwhile, Barbie said that she has been inviting David to run with her but the actor is busy with his projects. "Ini-invite ko siya mag-run. Nahihiya ako kasi nga lagi siyang busy. Nakikita ko na lang siya sa social media," she said. The BarDa love team, who rose to popularity in "Maria Clara at Ibarra," also teased an upcoming project this year. "Marami pong abangan. Hopefully, hopefully a movie this year," Barbie said. David Licauco mourns passing of grandfather, author Jaime Licauco
Jaime Licauco, author and grandfather of David Licauco, has passed away. He was 84. On Facebook, David dedicated a post for his lolo, sharing photos of them together. 'The wisest man I knew — always chasing greatness, always sharing his wisdom. Thank you for the life talks, the lessons, the power of your mind. I'll hold them close, always. Rest easy, lolo,' the Sparkle star wrote. Born on July 25, 1940, the elder Licauco was an author, lecturer, and parapsychologist.
