OM System Announces OM-5 Mark II Mirrorless Camera, YouTube First Look Video OM5 Mark II Adventure Ready Camera, More Info at B&H

OM System OM 5 Mark II Camera Bild Expo News: OM System new OM-5 Mark II camera continues to be an ideal choice for high-quality imagery and retains much of what made the original a hit while adding USB-C charging, an updated menu, a computational photography button, and more. Come check out the New OM 5 Mark II Camera at Bild Expo Booth #778 NEW YORK, June 17, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- B&H is pleased to introduce the second generation of OM System's compact, adventure-ready mirrorless camera, the OM-5 Mark II. Retaining much of its predecessor's build and imaging technology, including its 20.4MP Live MOS MFT Sensor and TruePic IX Image Processor, the Mark II sports an improved grip, USB-C power delivery and data connectivity, a dedicated Computational Photography button, new creative shooting modes, new video picture modes, and a simplified, user-friendly menu system. The rugged, IP53-weatherproof camera continues to be an ideal choice for high-quality imagery with a light footprint in outdoor, travel, and street applications. OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mark II Mirrorless Camerahttps:// Sand Beige Camera Bodyhttps:// Black Camera Body First generation users will be pleased with the inclusion of both the USB-C functionality and the new menu system, two of the most requested upgrades. The new OM System menu, first introduced in the OM-1 Mark II, is widely regarded as much easier to understand and configure, even for first time users. Like the OM-3 from earlier this year, the OM-5 Mark II features a Computational Photography button on the camera's top plate next to the shutter release button. The button gives users direct access to the High-Res Shot, Live ND, Focus Stacking, HDR, and Multiple Exposure modes without having to enter the menu. The two new creative shooting modes were designed specifically to aid low-light shooters. Night Vision mode brings out the details of a scene shrouded in darkness, clearly displaying both the night sky and the foreground and simplifying composition. The other new mode, Hand Held Assist, allows users to gauge the stability of handheld long exposures in real time. Also first introduced in the OM-3, the new creative video profiles, OM Cinema 1 and OM Cinema 2, offer a cinematic look to video footage without requiring special processing or grading. Finally, the new pronounced grip improves ergonomics for a more secure hold. The Mark II only weighs a hair (.1 oz) more than its predecessor, maintaining its lightweight and easy-to-carry form factor. The OM-5 Mark II will come in three colorways: the traditional black and silver bodies, along with a brand-new sand beige paint job. The black and silver editions will also come bundled in kits with two different lenses: the Digital ED 14-150mm f/4-5.6 PRO Lens and the Digital ED 12-45mm f/4 PRO Lens. Revo unveils new brand Nrgy with J Balvin

High-performance sunglasses, goggles and eyewear brand Revo has unveiled a new design-focused line with global artist J Balvin as the creative director. The new brand is called 'Nrgy by Revo' and will offer designs driven by innovation, implementing Revo's proprietary NASA-based polarised lens tech to 'deliver something entirely new' to the eyewear market that's 'engineered with vision and elevated by design'. In a statement, Revo said the new eyewear has been created in partnership with J Balvin and Mattias Gollin, a globally recognised creative working across fashion, culture, and performance branding, to present 'the future of eyewear design'. J Balvin and Mattias Gollin were brought together through their passion for design in 2024 when they collaborated on what is known as the Mark I, a 3D-printed pair of glasses that Balvin wore at shows and in music videos. Following what they call 'overwhelming interest' from their peers the pair connected with Revo to launch the eyewear commercially. The debut 'CXN_01' collection will feature 40 styles and will draw inspiration from 'the invisible architecture that connects us all,' such as quantum entanglement, dark matter flows, and planetary resonance. Each style will also feature subtle branding details, such as visible screws or the logo, which symbolises three atoms colliding to unleash energy in a direct nod between Nrgy's brand identity and the first collection. The collection will also feature a limited-edition signature style, the Mark II, which pays homage to the original lightning goggles they created in 2024. The Mark II has been designed in collaboration with the Vita Veloce Team, also known as VVT, the multidisciplinary creative studio co-founded by J Balvin and Mattias Gollin. The debut 'CXN_01' range will launch on June 25 via the brand's website while a limited release of the Mark II will be available for pre-order from June 9, with a broader rollout and exclusive activations to follow at select global retailers.

Zero Breeze Mark 3 AC Review: Effective Portable Cooling

As the weather heats up, the trappings of summer arrive with it: swimsuits, mosquitoes, and, naturally, portable air conditioning. Go-anywhere AC is now a thing, and in fact, I've been writing about it since 2019, when Zero Breeze released its first luggable, battery-powered air conditioning unit. A (minor) update arrived in 2022, but now version three is here. Conceptually, the Zero Breeze Mark 3 (Roman numerals begone!) remains the same as its forebears, though the design has been tidied up a bit, giving it a cleaner and more polished look. Nevertheless, it's still a beast of a device that is hardly something that will live in your trunk just in case you take an impromptu trip to the beach. Portable Air Photograph: Chris Null Measuring 22 x 10 x 12 inches (without the battery pack installed), the Mark 3 is a little larger than the Mark II and quite a bit heavier, now weighing 22 pounds compared to the Mark II's 17 pounds. Clip on the enormous 1,022-Wh battery pack and you're adding another 14 pounds to the rig, though that frees you from having to be near a power outlet if you want to cool down. I complained in both of my earlier reviews that Zero Breeze's approach to charging was a bit silly, because although the battery pack physically clips onto the bottom of the air conditioner, it uses a separate cable to attach to the air conditioner's charging port. Incredibly, this is still the case, though you can at least now operate the Zero Breeze from battery power while it's simultaneously charging—something that wasn't possible on previous iterations. (You still can't run the Zero Breeze while charging if the battery is completely dead. It needs some juice, about a 50 percent charge, to get things going, after which it can run indefinitely.) A new feature is that batteries can now be stacked and charged in sequence (as many as you like), each daisy-chained to the next, though at a minimum of $600 per battery, this can quickly get exorbitantly expensive. Each Mark 3 battery also has extra outputs that can be used for other devices—one USB-C port, one USB-A port, and a 12-volt DC socket. This is a downgrade from the Mark II battery, which has all of the above plus a second USB-A port. Why it was removed is a mystery.
