Marshall's Kilburn III Speaker With Renewed Acoustics And 50 Hour Battery Life

The new and re-engineered Kilburn III wireless Bluetooth speaker is the latest product from the ... More iconic guitar amplifier brand. Last week, Marshall made a big splash by announcing the launch of the brand's first-ever soundbar. The Heston 120 was received with huge interest and the iconic guitar amplifier brand is not slowing down. Today Marshall will launch its latest medium-sized Bluetooth speaker featuring a large-scale sound. This latest addition to Marshall's lineup of speakers and headphones is the new Kilburn III. It shares the same rock 'n' roll spirit as the rest of the classic brand's lineup and has been inspired by the unmistakable look of Marshall's guitar amplifier range that has grown into one of the most recognizable brands since its inception in the early 1960s. The Kilburn III has an impressive 50 hours of listening time from a single charge of the built-in battery. That's twice as long as the Kilburn II. The new speaker also has 360° True Stereophonic sound which projects a stereo soundstage without any blind spots. True to the Marshall ethos, the new speaker has been tuned for loudness and a muscular tone that doesn't compromise when it comes to sound quality. Marshall claims the result is a 'harmonious blend of bass, mids, and treble at any volume.' The Kilburn III has a removable carrying handle that can easily be replaced with a guitar strap for ... More extra portability. With its classic Marshall look, inspired by the company's guitar amplifiers and their rock 'n' roll heritage, the speakers has thoughtful details like tactile control knobs and a removable and velvet-lined carrying strap that can easily be swapped out with a guitar strap thanks to the guitar strap connectors. Because of its portability design and rechargeable battery, the Kilburn III can be carried around the home without the bother of wires and power bricks. The speaker's IP54 dust and water-resistant design provides resistance to water splashes as well as being able to handle a bit of dirt or sand. That said, this is not a fully waterproof device, so no diving in the swimming pool or leaving it out in a monsoon. Commenting on the launch of the Kilburn III, Marshall's product manager, Hanna Wallner, said. 'Kilburn III represents a groundbreaking evolution in our product line, showcasing a completely reengineered acoustic design. We've enhanced its visual appeal, refined usability, and extended the playtime to over 50 hours. Kilburn III is a remarkable upgrade from the highly appreciated Kilburn II.' The Heston 120 has classic analog controls. Using the latest generation of Bluetooth, the Kilburn III also has a feature called True Stereophonic 360° sound that enables listeners to experience a full stereo soundstage no matter where they are standing in the room. Thanks to a feature called Dynamic Loudness, it's possible to crank up the Kilburn III's volume to maximum without compromising on musical detail or quality. Marshall assures the Kilburn III has been designed so that the bass, mids and treble will always sound as though they are ideally adjusted, no matter what the volume levels. The Kilburn III from Marshall has tactile controls that echo Marshall's classic guitar amplifier ... More design. Like many Marshall products, the Kilburn III's tactile controls look as if they are taken straight from one of the brand's classic guitar amplifier. The bass and treble knobs are joined by an old-school toggle switch for turning the speaker on or off. There are also controls for play, pause, skip and repeat. Marshall has included a special 'M" button that can be programmed with presets for favorite playlists. As well as its 50 hours of listening time from a single charge, the Marshall Kilburn III can also be used as a power bank for topping up rechargeable USB devices like a smartphone.
