The Raja Saab OTT release: Prabhas will soon be seen in The Raja Saab, one of the biggest films of the year. The horror comedy is set to hit the screens in December. The Telugu film will also be dubbed and released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Amid the wait for the biggie, exciting details have emerged about its OTT release. According to Always Bollywood, a handle on X (formerly known as Twitter) that tracks entertainment news, Netflix has acquired the digital rights of the film for Rs 100 crore. This, however, is for the Hindi version only. This means the Hindi version will be available on Netflix after its run in theatres. The Raja Saab plot and cast explored The Raja Saab is a horror comedy directed by Maruthi. The film's plot is still under wraps. However, the teaser suggests that it will centre on the events that unfold when the protagonist is haunted by the ghost of his paternal grandfather. It will also feature a liberal dose of action, comedy and glamour. The Raja Saab features Prabhas in a new avatar. The mass hero is best known for his work in films such as Baahubali, Salaar, and the Nag Ashwin-helmed Kalki 2898 AD. He will be seen with Sanjay Dutt in the biggie. The makers of director Maruthi's upcoming magnum opus 'The RajaSaab', featuring pan Indian star Prabhas in the lead, have disclosed that 95 per cent of the film's shooting has been completed and that only three songs and some patchwork are left to be shot. Talking to IANS on the sets of the film, where a huge mansion had been erected for the film, producer T G Vishwa Prasad, who is sparing no expense to make sure that the film is truly world-class, said, 'We have three songs left to be shot. Apart from that, there is some small patchwork that will have to be completed. Otherwise, shooting is almost over." The producer also disclosed that the VFX in Raja Saab will be world-class and that it will have all forms of CG, including 3D CG. The unit is confident that the film will shatter records and set the cash registers ringing at the box office when it hits screens on December 5 this year. In fact, the film is already breaking records even before its release. It now holds the record for having been shot in India's largest horror-fantasy set ever created. The towering, haunted mansion set seems to be steeped in secrets and is surrounded by an ominous silence. It may be recalled that director Maruthi, during the launch of the teaser, had said that the reason behind making such a grand film was to 'prove that we can make a Walt Disney film in India too." Looking to capitalise on the phenomenal reach of the recently released teaser of actor Prabhas's 'The RajaSaab' to drive home a message on road safety awareness, the Hyderabad Traffic Police department has now released a clip advocating the usage of helmet while riding two wheelers and the need to drive slow using visuals from the film's teaser. Taking to its X timeline, the Hyderabad Traffic police released a video clip that first shows the actor zooming past in a bike without a helmet. Then, a scene from the teaser in which Prabhas is seen saying, 'Drive your vehicle a bit slow" appears. It is followed by another dialogue,"As it is, our life is very fragile." It ends with Prabhas getting off the bike and taking off a helmet.
