"He won his prizes with a set of numbers he regularly plays that represent the only floors his old work building's elevator used to stop on," lottery officials said. Semedo bought his ticket at Jenny's Market at 992 Middle St., in Weymouth. For selling the winning ticket, the store will receive bonuses worth $3,000. The Weymouth man told lottery officials he plans to go see a Boston Red Sox away game with his money. It's not the first time someone from Massachusetts used old familiar numbers to win a lottery jackpot. Last year, Kevin Connor, of Leicester, won $2.64 million playing a Megabucks game, CBS affiliate WBZ reported. Someone in Massachusetts won $100,000 on Sunday night from a lottery ticket they bought at a Mobil gas station. The $100,000 prize was from the daily 'Mass Cash' drawing. The winning numbers for the drawing on June 22 were 4, 10, 17, 21 and 35. 'Mass Cash' drawings are held daily at 9 p.m., and tickets to play cost $1 each. Mass. lottery player to receive $200 a week for life
A lottery player from Massachusetts claimed a $200 a week for life prize after they claimed a winning $2 scratch ticket. The prize was from '$200 A Week For Life,' a $2 scratch ticket game released on Feb. 18. There's still six $200 a week for life prizes remaining to be claimed as of June 27. The winning ticket was sold in Dorchester at the Uphams Corner Market. Additionally, four $100,000 prizes were won during Thursday night's 'Mass Cash' drawing. The winning numbers for the drawing were 2, 6, 10, 14 and 18. Three of the winning tickets were sold at the same store, called Jenny's Market located in Weymouth. 2 tickets worth $100K won, claimed on Friday
Two winning $100,000 lottery tickets were sold at different locations in Massachusetts, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery website. One of the tickets was sold in Friday's 'Mass Cash' drawing. It was sold at Castillo Food in Lawrence. The drawing was held on June 27 and the winning numbers were 10,20,29,34,35. A $100,000 winning scratch ticket was claimed on Friday from the $30 game, 'Diamond Deluxe.' It was sold at Arlington Convenience in Arlington.
