Owners of Wicklow gastropub refusing to stock certain global products due to bombardment of Gaza
A family-owned gastro pub in Wicklow have decided to take a stand against the ongoing humanitarian crisis taking place in Gaza and will no longer stock any brands deemed supportive of the Israeli regime.
Fernando and Alannah Figueira took over the landmark McDaniel's Gastropub of Brittas Bay in May of last year. Having witnessed unsettling news images of the constant bombardment of civilians in the Gaza Strip, including women and children, by Israeli forces, the pair decided that they would no longer stock any brands which are deemed to be supportive of any power that inflicts starvation and hardship on little children.
