Infininx GT 30 Pro 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip launching in India today: Expected price, specs and more
Infininx will launch its latest focused smartphone in India, the GT 30 Pro with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and customizable shoulder triggers for gaming. The new phone is likely to compete with the likes of Poco X7 Pro, iQOO Neo 10R and Realme P3 Ultra in the mid-range performance focused smartphone category. Infinix had launched its GT 20 Pro (Review) lineup at a starting price of ₹ 22,999 and given the company's past track record, it would be fair to assume that the GT 30 Pro could be launched around the ₹ 25,000 price bracket. Infinix GT 30 Pro in Blade White colour variant Infinix GT 30 Pro in Dark Flare variant GT 20 (Left) alongside GT 30 Pro (Right) Infinix has made a big change in the design department with the GT 30 Pro, with the new phone coming with a vertical camera module and a more minimalistic body compared to its predecessor. The phone comes in Glacier White and Dark Flare colour variants. It flaunts what Infinix calls a 'Cyber Mecha' design, which essentially means that the phone features an interactive lighting setup on the back (white lights on the Glacier White and RGB lighting on the Dark Flare version), which comes into action during notifications, calls, gaming, and charging. Infinix has continued to remain tight-lipped about the specifications of the GT 30 Pro, but given that the phone has already launched in global markets, we have a fair idea of what to expect in terms of display, camera, battery, and UI. The global version of the GT 30 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2160Hz touch sampling rate. It offers 1100 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM) and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the front, with an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. It features a dual-camera setup with a 108MP primary shooter and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front is a 13MP shooter for selfies and video calls. It packs a 5,500mAh battery and supports 45W wired fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The GT 30 Pro runs on Infinix's XOS 15, based on Android 15, and if the past track record of Infinix is anything to go by, one can expect a promised two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.

Vivo has confirmed that the T4 Ultra will launch in India soon, featuring a periscope telephoto camera with up to 100x zoom. While an exact launch date isn't confirmed yet, the phone is expected to arrive in the first half of June. Leaks suggest the T4 Ultra could feature a 6.67-inch pOLED 120Hz display and be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. It may also come equipped with a 50MP IMX921 primary sensor and a 50MP periscope lens, along with support for 90W charging. Initially rumoured to launch in May, the Poco F7 is now expected to debut in India in June 2025. Even if it won't be released this month, a launch in June is just as Nord CE5 looks like a pretty solid mid-range phone on paper. Leaked about two weeks ago, the phone's full specs sheet includes a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, 8 GB RAM, and 256 GB internal storage. OnePlus Nord CE5 | Image credit: SmartPrix Thanks to a previous leak, we also know what the phone looks like, at least the back side of the phone. Visible in the picture leaked is the dual-camera system that consists of a 50-megapixel main snapper and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The former features a 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 sensor, while the latter uses Sony's 1/4-inch IMX355 sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Although we don't have a picture of the phone's front side, rumor has it that Nord CE5 packs a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for importantly, the phone comes with a 6.7-inch flat OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Another selling point of the Nord CE5 could be the massive 7,100 mAh battery that features support for 80W wired charging. OnePlus Nord CE 5 ( CPH2717 ) has listed on BIS CertificationLaunch ~ June in IndiaGets : Dimensity 8350 FHD+ 120Hz flat oled 50MP OIS + 8 UW 16MP 7100mAh80W IR , In-display FS, Hybrid slot Single speaker — Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) (@Gadgetsdata) May 2, 2025 Other highlights of the OnePlus Nord CE5 include IR (infrared blaster), dual SIM (hybrid slot), single speaker, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is probably going to feature some sort of dust and water protection, especially considering that the predecessor is IP54-certfied. The biggest improvement over the OnePlus Nord CE4 is definitely the 7,100 mAh battery. In comparison, the Nord CE4 has a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging speeds. The Dimensity 8350 chipset is also something that will set it apart from the Nord CE4, which is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. The only thing that remains to be seen is how much it will cost, but rumor has it that it won't be more expensive than the OnePlus Nord CE4 (Rs 21,500 / $255 / €225), or not by much.
