Teddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne Call Out Aaron Phypers Over Denise Richards' Divorce: ‘Come on, Man
Eddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne are standing up for Denise Richards in the wake of Aaron Phypers' unexpected divorce filing. On the Friday, July 11 episode of Two Ts in a Pod, the podcast Mellencamp co-hosts with Tamra Judge, Erika Jayne didn't hold back her thoughts on Phypers, who filed for divorce from Richards just days earlier, on July 7. During the episode, Mellencamp recalled something Denise had said back in March on her reality show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. According to Mellencamp, Denise had made it clear that she didn't believe in divorce at all — insisting there was absolutely no chance it would ever happen to her. 'She was so sure,' Mellencamp reflected. 'She said she'd never go through it. Divorce just wasn't an option in her mind.' Both Mellencamp and Jayne, who've had past run-ins with Phypers during their time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, admitted he was never exactly their favorite person. Jayne pointed out that Phypers is now seeking spousal support from Richards, and Mellencamp added that he's allegedly asking for a significant amount of money. Jayne reminded listeners that Denise is a working mother — raising three daughters, including her two with ex Charlie Sheen and her youngest, Eloise, whom she adopted. Speaking directly to Phypers, Jayne's tone was sharp but emotional. She said he should think twice before going down this path. 'Come on, man. Don't do this,' she urged.n.

Teddi Mellencamp says she's 'in denial' about cancer journey
Former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Teddi Mellencamp is opening up about the toll her cancer has taken on her family life. "I think it's really hard being in a place where, I kind of am in denial of where I am physically," Mellencamp told co-host Tamra Judge during an episode of Two Ts In A Pod, the podcast she mans alongside her fellow "Real Housewives" alum. "And when other people are not in denial, it's hard," she added. Mellencamp, 44, shared earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in her brain and lungs. The reality star, who is daughter to rocker John Cougar Mellencamp, revealed in April on social media that after undergoing treatment, several of her tumors had "shrunk or disappeared." James Van Der Beek, Jenna Fischer and the rise of young people getting cancer Despite this development her family still urgers her to take her health seriously, Mellencamp said. "My family wants to have like the hard conversations, and I don't," she told Judge. "They want to talk about things like the future, or medically, exactly how I'm doing, and I don't want to talk about it." "You don't want to talk about that with anybody," Judge chimed in. "I don't want to talk about it with you either, for the record," Mellencamp joked back. Despite her reticence to share now, Mellencamp has been very open throughout her cancer journey with fans, sharing updates on her treatment, the success of immunotherapy and the hard conversations she's needed to have with family along the way. Mellencamp previously told USA TODAY that a positive mindset has been key to her journey. "I'm feeling positive, but I also would say that my mood and my overall energy level shifts by the hour," she said in May. "There's moments of fear and there's moments of whatever, but as long as I'm moving my body and taking action, then I seem to be in a more positive mindset."

Legendary Rock Star, 73, Paid His Daughter $100 to Cut Her Hair
Legendary Rock Star, 73, Paid His Daughter $100 to Cut Her Hair originally appeared on Parade. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp shared that her father, famed singer John Mellencamp, offered her $100 to cut her hair into a short bob during her childhood. While recording the June 9 episode of her podcast, Two Ts In A Pod, co-hosted by Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge, Mellencamp discussed trying to grow out her hair after undergoing radiation for her stage 4 melanoma. She explained that she has continued to shave her head because there are certain spots where her hair has not yet grown back in. "I didn't just shave my head. I went bald. I have bald spots all over my head," said Mellencamp. She also said she wasn't looking forward to the process of growing out her hair. She told Judge that she had a short haircut when she was 10, which she did not find flattering. The RHOBH alum explained that she cut her hair after her father paid her $100 to do so. "When I was 10 years old my dad paid me $100 to cut my hair this short. It was not a good look for me," said Mellencamp during the podcast episode. When Mellencamp said she "can't believe [she] did that for $100," Judge quipped, "You'd do anything for a buck." On June 9, Mellencamp took to her Instagram account to share a picture of herself at 10 years old with the short haircut. She also featured a photo of the actor Jonathan Taylor Thomas. "Who wore it better, young me or JTT?" read the caption of the post. "On the latest @ I was talking about chopping my hair off because @johnmellencamp offered me $100. Jim Irsay's funeral included 10 speakers, attendance by former Colts coaches and executives
Colts owner Jim Irsay, who died 13 days ago at 65, was remembered on Monday with a funeral in his adopted hometown. Via Gregg Doyel of the Indianapolis Star, the two-hour service featured 10 speakers. The funeral also included a performance by John Mellencamp, who played Pink Houses. 'He asked for this song to be played,' Mellencamp said. Attendees included Colts coaches Tony Dungy, Jim Caldwell, Chuck Pagano, Frank Reich, and Shane Steichen. General Managers Bill Polian, Ryan Grigson, and Chris Ballard also were there. Said Mellencamp as he exited: 'As we all go on, think of Jimmy from time to time and what he did for this community. And let's hope his dreams come true.' Irsay did much for Indianapolis. He was colorful and gregarious and complicated and flawed and ultimately, like the rest of us, human. He inherited an NFL franchise and did his best to make it as good as it could be, both as it relates to on-field performance and off-field impact on the town the team calls home.

John Mellencamp rips Pat McAfee for antics at Knicks vs Pacers game
Mellencamp was at Gainbridge Fieldhouse when the Pacers took a 3-1 series lead on Tuesday, May 27, when the ESPN and WWE host riled up Pacers fans inside the arena during a timeout in the fourth quarter. McAfee used a few expletives while encouraging the crowd's boos of Hollywood stars Timothee Chalamet, Ben Stiller and Spike Lee, all who were in attendance and rooting for the Knicks. NBA DRAFT 2025: Winners and losers after landscape-shifting college withdrawal deadline Mellencamp, 73, didn't mention McAfee by name but chastised him for a lack of "Hoosier Hospitality." "I was embarrassed when somebody, under whose direction I don't know, called out some of the people who had made the trip from New York to support their team - and in turn, support our team," Mellencamp wrote. "The audience booed these people. I'd say that was not Hoosier Hospitality. One could only say it's poor, poor sportsmanship. I was not proud to be a Hoosier, and I've lived here my entire life. On behalf of most Hoosiers, I would like to apologize for our poor behavior. I'm sure the Pacers had nothing to do with this smackdown." McAfee acknowledged Thursday he is the "somebody" to whom Mellencamp is referring. The former Indianapolis Colts punter, who based his daily sports talk show in Indianapolis, did not attend Game 5 on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden despite a social media invitation from Stiller in the aftermath of his antics. The Knicks beat the Pacers, 111-94, with Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, Stiller, Lee, Tracy Morgan and Shaboozey among the celebrities in the New York crowd. The Knicks and Pacers meet again for Game 6 back in Indianapolis on Saturday, May 31. Indiana leads the Eastern Conference finals, 3-2.
