I want to make life easier for my parents," said Mallesh, whose ambition was fuelled by a deep desire to uplift his family. His situation began to improve after meeting Anupama Mendhe, a lecturer at Shivaji Science College. "When I first met Mallesh, he could barely speak properly. We struggled to understand his words," Mendhe recalled.
