Barbarians hammered
The Springboks thumped the Barbarians 54-7 in Cape Town yesterday.
Openside flanker Vincent Tshituka scored two tries on debut for the Springboks, who led 19-0 at halftime.
French fullback Mervyn Jaminet scored the only try for the Barbarians. Highlanders regular Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens started on the wing for the Baabaas, while former Highlander Shannon Frizell was at No8 alongside former All Blacks captain Sam Cane and Irish great Peter O'Mahony. — APL
