Qatar To Compensate Citizens For Damage Caused

Qatar has announced that it will compensate citizens and residents whose private properties were damaged by falling debris during last month's missile incident involving Iran and the US. The incident occurred on June 23, when Iran launched missiles at the US-operated Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, in retaliation for American airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities. While no casualties were reported, explosions were heard in Doha, and fragments from intercepted missiles were found scattered on roads and near homes. On Sunday, Qatar's Ministry of Interior confirmed that financial compensation will be provided for damages to residential buildings, vehicles, commercial establishments, and industrial properties affected by the missile shrapnel. However, the ministry emphasized that only damages officially reported to security departments will be eligible. Residents who haven't submitted a damage report can still apply for compensation through the 'Metrash' mobile app within two days of the announcement. After the deadline, no further claims will be accepted. The Civil Defence Council will contact affected individuals to guide them through the compensation process in line with Qatari regulations. Compensation to be given for damages from interception of Iranian missiles: MoI

Doha The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Civil Defence Council, has announced that compensation will be provided to citizens and residents whose private properties (residential buildings, vehicles, industrial facilities, and commercial establishments) have sustained damages as a result of falling shrapnel from the interception of Iranian missiles. These damages must have been previously documented through official reports filed with the competent security departments. The affected individuals will be contacted by the Civil Defence Council to complete the compensation procedures in accordance with the approved laws and regulations. Individuals who have not yet documented their cases may still submit a compensation request via the Metrash application within two days from the date of this announcement. This can be done by accessing the "Requests" icon located under the "Communicate with Us" window of the app, selecting the designated service, filling in the required information, providing a description and address, uploading any images or supporting documents (if available), and finally confirming the submission of the request. The Council has affirmed that this measure comes in continuation of the directives of His Highness to identify and assess the damage resulting from the incident. No claims will be accepted after the expiration of the mentioned deadline.
