In the current situation of the country, one cannot even imagine a fair election – Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
Islam Sarkar :Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, 'You can see what has happened in Patgram, what is happening. Not just Patgram. They have turned the whole of Bangladesh into a Patgram. In this situation, one cannot even imagine a fair election. How many fundamental reforms must be done for a fair election. We have talked about those reforms. We will implement those reforms. And we will also implement a fair election. If anyone dreams of an election like the Awami Fascist era. I call Almighty Allah as a witness – we will turn that dream into a nightmare.I call Almighty Allah as a witness – we will turn that dream into a nightmare.
That dream will not be allowed to come true. No administrative coup will be allowed. No 'Mastantantra' will be allowed at the polling station. No black money game will be tolerated.( If you have any questions you can ask our correspondent Md. Mafidul Islam Sarkar on WhatsApp +8801735-632338)
He said these things as the chief guest at a huge public meeting organized by the Metropolitan and District Jamaat at the Rangpur District School Ground in Bangladesh on Friday (July 4) evening. The party held this public meeting demanding the trial of the murderers of the martyrs of the July 24 revolution, including Shaheed Abu Sayeed, creating a level playing field for elections and political reforms, implementing the Teesta Master Plan and building a humane Bangladesh.
Stating that many types of conspiracies are being hatched ahead of the next elections, the Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami said, 'We are observing many types of conspiracies ahead of the next elections. We are hearing many types of conversations in the field. We are understanding many types of engineering signs. We remind everyone. This Sheikh Hasina had all the forces in her hands. She had great power. She had installed her own people in places. She ran the state with cadre masters. But when the people's awakening, the people's explosion occurred, no one could protect her. We promise that this fight against fascism will continue as long as the slightest sign of fascism remains in the country. No one can stop our fight until fascism is eradicated.
Pointing to the BNP leaders and activists, the Jamaat Amir said, 'The regrettable thing is the life of Abu Sayeed's martyrdom, the life of risking one's life, the life of sacrificing one's life in present-day Bangladesh. Why can't we, the people of Bangladesh, be patient? If we open the pages of newspapers everywhere, stand in front of satellite media, or sit down, we can see the paws of some disgusting people in some area of Bangladesh. I see this paw on the honor of my mother. I see this paw on people's lives. I see this paw on people's property. Even when they have no sense of their own, they do not hesitate to kill their own people. If there had been no uprising by Brother 24, would you have been able to walk in the open air on the land given by Allah? We believe that this movement involves unlimited sacrifice and sacrifice of people from all walks of life. Everyone has been tortured. Scholars and scholars have been murdered. Disappeared. People have been humiliated step by step. The feet of the elderly scholars have been shackled. Handcuffs have been put on them. The feet of the living martyr ATM Azharul Islam have also been shackled. They were a species without manners in the name of politics. They tasted their misdeeds because they did not know manners and left. If anyone else does the same thing, then even more terrible times are waiting for them.'
I do not accept anything called minority-numerical guru in Bangladesh, said the Jamaat Amir, 'Those who tortured minorities for 54 years and cried for mercy. I call Almighty Allah as my witness – they are the ones who robbed the property of minorities. I do not accept minority-numerical gurus in my country. Because of this, they have been beaten. Damage has been done. Whoever is born on the soil of this country, they are all equal. Our constitution has given that right to everyone. We promise – we will be the guardians of what the constitution will give to Bangladesh, Insha Allah. They owned the state, and we will be its servants.'
The Jamaat Amir said, 'Abu Saeed has left the world in thousands. He has left behind an education. He has raised his voice that our struggle will continue. That is why they have said that the movement will continue until a humane society without discrimination is created. Their slogan is – Abu Saeed is impressed, the war is not over. Abu Saeed's companions, wake up once.
