I was spoiled as a child but neglected emotionally by my partying Emmerdale star mum, claims Mia Winward

Mia - who makes £100k a month stripping off - has revealed the details of her childhood DARK SECRET I was spoiled as a child but neglected emotionally by my partying Emmerdale star mum, claims Mia Winward Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SITTING by the pool in her luxury Mexican villa, Mia Winward is the envy of hoards of young women her age. But as I speak to the 20-year-old Brit model this week she breaks down in tears. 8 Mia Winward has opened up to The Sun about her childhood as the daughter a soap star Sammy Winward Credit: Instagram 8 She has described growing up with mum Sammy - pictured here in 2004 Credit: News Group Newspapers Ltd 8 The pair are sadly no longer on speaking terms after an explosive fallout Credit: Getty It's the start of what turns out to be a bombshell chat, where Mia claims for the first time that she was emotionally mistreated by her famous parents. Through tears she tells The Sun: 'I was raised by a 19-year-old soap star... I may have been spoiled materially, but I was definitely neglected emotionally. "I often felt lonely, picked on and controlled - about what I wore, what I said in public and most of all unsupported. "At times her choices - like boyfriends - left me feeling scared and sometimes it felt like too much pressure was placed on my shoulders." Mia's claims come after her famous parents Emmerdale star Sammy Winward, 39, and former footballer David Dunn, 45, cut her out of their lives last year after the then-teenager joined controversial adult site OnlyFans. The blonde star - who claims to make up to £100k a month - says they now refuse to pick up her calls. Its something Mia finds hypocritical as her mum Sammy was a mags lad favourite back in her heyday and often appeared topless - posing for shots just like Mia. 'I may have been spoiled materialistically, but I was definitely neglected emotionally.' Mia Winward 'My mum was doing pretty much the exact same thing like I'm doing, her version of it, back in her day. 'I just think how, how can you not be accepting? You were younger than me when you stripped off sand now you've completely blocked me out of your life." 'I saw her for 10 minutes a day' Mia was just a baby when her mum, Sammy, was at the height of her fame playing Katie Sugden on the ITV soap. Her earliest memories with her mum are sparse. Her dad - the footy star David - split from Sammy shortly after Mia was born. 'When she was working, I would see her for maybe 10 minutes a day," Mia says. "I'd be asleep when she got back from work and would see her briefly in the mornings and then she'd have to go.' Sammy Winward's daughter Mia Dunn reveals she's raked in £60k a month on OnlyFans amid feud with Emmerdale star mum Mia says as a result of her mum's schedule she was raised by her gran, telling us: 'My grandma literally gave up her entire life for me, got a flat in Leeds, near the Emmerdale set, just to take me on to set for my mum to breastfeed. 'My mum was often out partying when I was younger, leaving me with my grandma, which I was always happy to go to because my grandma is one of people who really raised me.' She added: "My mum wasn't there for me. She didn't support me." Sammy split from Mia's dad - Blackburn Rovers footballer David - shortly after she was born, which meant Mia met a number of the actress's new partners over the years. One sticks out in her mind who Mia recalls being very cruel to her. 8 Mia has said her mum was like a friend rather than a mother growing up Credit: sammy_winward1/Instagram 8 Sammy and footballer David Dunn - Mia's dad Credit: Getty 8 Mia's parents have struggled with her decision to do OnlyFans Credit: Instagram 'She had new boyfriends when I was younger, one in particular, who would yell at me about four or five years old just for coming into the bedroom when I had a nightmare,' she remembers. 'Bear in mind, I used to sleep in my mum's bed because she was a single mother and I got scared as a child in the dark.' According to Mia, things didn't get much easier as she became older. She told us: "My mum made me pay for petrol for her car to get to my course and I was making £5 an hour as a trainee hair stylist at this point. It was really tough." 'When she was working, I would see her maybe 10 minutes a day." Mia on mum Sammy Winward At 16, Mia says she had had enough of feeling like she was being controlled, told what she can and can't wear and not receiving the guidance she craved, so she made the decision to move in with her dad, who she'd had a rocky relationship with for several years. Putting aside any hard feelings towards her father, who is now married to new wife Hayley with whom he shares three children, Mia tells The Sun: 'He was really young when I was born, and he messed up because he was younger. 'I understand that so much because I've put myself in his shoes and he really did help install a work ethic in me and I'll always appreciate him for taking me in. I was really touched." During her earlier years, Mia has claimed she struggled to keep in touch with her dad and has accused him of not making enough effort to see her or even talk to her. 8 Mia is now making some serious money modelling Credit: Instagram 8 Sammy with her now husband Martyn Hardy But everything changed with her dad too when she started making adult content. Just a few months ago she claims her father cruelly branded her a 'w***e' and slammed the phone down on her when she attempted to reconnect with him. She fled the UK towards the end of last year and has been living in various countries - including Mexico and Canada - making adult content. Mia has just bought her first property in Mexico. She initially tried to distance herself from her well-known parents, opting to ditch her surname. ' I don't profit off of their name', she insists. Mia may be known as Mia Winward in the press, but goes by Mia Rose online. The Sun first told last year how Sammy, who is famed for playing Katie Sugden from 2001 to 2015 and is still a jobing actress, refused to speak to her daughter when she discovered she was on OnlyFans. Mia's dad — former Blackburn footballer David — also distanced himself at the same time. Mia was initially hopefully they could make it up, but over time the distance has become unbearable. She says her latest attempt to contact her mum just a few days ago was unsuccessful and Mia feels she has reached the end of the line. 'People online see me as spoiled and I'm not denying that I was materialistically spoiled but I won't have people say I'm a spoiled brat when no one knows that I was emotionally neglected," she says. Sammy has declined to comment.

Sammy Winward's daughter Mia reveals HUGE monthly salary as she buys first home after stripping off

SAMMY Winward's daughter Mia has revealed her whopping monthly salary as she buys her first home after stripping off. The OnlyFans model, 19, says she'll even be a millionaire by the end of this year. 6 6 6 She told The Sun: 'At the moment I'm pushing about 100k a month right now. "I bought a property in Tulum. So I do have that now. So I have that investment at least. So that's kind of saved. "And I have some saved, but I'm not a millionaire just yet. But I promise it's coming this year.' Mia is estranged from her parents, Emmerdale actress Sammy and football star dad David Dunn, and they've told her to "get another job". She appeared to hit back in public, in a very racy post. Mia stripped off to stockings and a mini skirt for snaps, which she captioned: 'Get a real job'. Mia has previously told how her parents Emmerdale actress Sammy Winward and former Blackburn player David Dunn, have expressed their dislike for her career and have repeatedly told her to get another job. Mia recently celebrated her huge earnings while posting a video of her in pink lingerie, writing: "$420k since, on the hub, on the blue and white site and travelling the world." Things have got so bad between the star and her parents that she believes there is no going back after she claims her father cruelly branded her a 'w***e' and slammed the phone down on her. Both are said to be bitterly opposed to Mia's blossoming OnlyFans career. Brooklyn Beckham should take a leaf out of my book - my famous mum footballer dad tried to control me for decades Speaking from Mexico, where she is currently staying, Mia told The Sun: 'I tried to reconnect with my dad and he called me a w***e on the phone. 'I'm completely fully cut off and they want any sort of contact, which is really big shame because I thought I'd be the bigger person in the whole situation. 'I text them I'm saying I was really sorry, I didn't want anything bad to come of it, and it doesn't mean I'm a bad person because I do OnlyFans.' She is also launching her own business, selling off her underwear to her legion of fans. David Dunn is a former pro footballer who spent much of his career playing for Blackburn Rovers, also receiving an England cap, before going on to be a manager of Oldham Athletic, Blackpool and Barrow. He had daughter Mia, who now uses the name Mia Kate Rose, with actress Sammy, who he was engaged to, in 2005 but they split later that year. The upset star added: 'I love my parents. They might not reciprocate that, but I love them to pieces. 'I moved out at 16, I moved to Manchester by myself. I've done everything very independently." Emotional Mia continued: 'I think it's crazy to have such anger towards me when I am in fact at the end of the day their daughter. 'I do totally get the fact that they don't love what I do, but at the same time, I am, I'm a human being' Asked if she thinks things will ever go back to normal, she replied: 'I've lost all hope now.' 6 6 6

Brooklyn Beckham should take a leaf out of my book – my famous mum and footballer dad don't speak to me & I've never been happier

MIA Winward was "heartbroken" when she was first cut off by her former Premier League footballer dad and her ex-Emmerdale actress mum over their fury at her selling X-rated content on OnlyFans. And as news broke this week that David and Victoria Beckham were feuding with their son Brooklyn, the trauma of the family fall out all came flooding back to Mia - and she has some sage words of advice for the Beckhams ' eldest son. 17 17 17 Mia, 19, has vowed to never even send her parents, David Dunn and Sammy Winward, as much as a text message ever again - after they said they were turning their backs on her forever. And now Mia - who claims her mum Sammy is jealous of her - says Brooklyn, who recently snubbed his dad's 50th birthday party over his younger brother Romeo's new romance with his ex, Kim Turnball, should blow the final whistle on his relationship with his parents. She says: "At the end of the day, Brooklyn is losing his parents in the midst of his family fallout. It's going to be hard for him - and I understand how angry he must be - I've been there. "When I first fell out with my famous mum and dad, I was angry at the fact that they could fall out with me to that extent." Mia previously revealed her Emmerdale star mum Sammy had cut ties with her over her career choice. She told us: "She said some pretty mean things when we did last speak, it was awful. 'But I absolutely love my mum, I love all of my family but none of them speak to me now." And Mia claimed dad David is so against her racy job he branded her a "w***e". She added: "I tried to reconnect with my dad and he called me a w***e on the phone." Mia's own experience means she can understand what Brooklyn is going through. She said: "I don't see how any parent could ever cut off their own child - parents are supposed to parent." Mia has insisted Sammy is "jealous" of her success and the money she's earning after she raked in £100,000 in just one month. She said: "I think she's got some animosity towards me. I think she is maybe just jealous about me doing so well and so quickly. 'I think that's what my parents issue is really. They think I've done it off their backs, but actually, behind the scenes, it takes a lot more work than just being their daughter." Mia now thinks Brooklyn needs to think hard about reconnecting with his parents, continuing: "I don't know why they have fallen out, but I think Brooklyn should just have a think about whether his parents actually add to his life. "I had to be that selfish. "I had to think: 'Right, 'Do my parents fit into my life?' Rather than, 'Can I fit into my parents' lives?' "Because it's my life at the end of the day - and it's Brooklyn's life too. "As kids, we shouldn't have to sacrifice who we are to please our folks -or be scared of upsetting them. My parents didn't like what I do - but is it really so bad they would stop talking to me? I cannot understand it. "Like I've had to, Brooklyn should focus on himself now. If things change in the future, so be it." Mia claimed she initially tried to fix things with her parents but was met with silence. She said: "I'm completely fully cut off and they want any sort of contact, which is really big shame because I thought I'd be the bigger person in the whole situation." And Mia is now leaving it to Sammy and David to reach out, adding: "I wouldn't personally regain contact with mine - I won't be sending any texts any time soon. Uncomfortable feeling Speculating over what could have caused the Beckham feud, she continued: "I truly cannot understand what could have happened that mean Brooklyn doesn't want to go to any family events. It's really sad. "Even I would be sad if I missed my dad's 50th birthday. It's a big thing. "But at the same time, if that experience was going to make him and Nicola unhappy or uncomfortable - or if people were going to gang up on them, I understand why it's a hard no. "My advice to Brooklyn is: Your life if your own - don't ever put yourself in a situation where you're going to feel uncomfortable. "Just because it's your family it doesn't mean you have to sacrifice yourself. "Blood isn't family. Your true family are those who stay by your side through thick and thin. "If there's a situation that's getting you down, pulling you back, not letting you grow completely to your full potential, then you should step away from it. "I've not spoken to my parents in a year now. "But it's good for me - I'm having a very fulfilling life with loads of amazing people around me. "If Brooklyn's family is that for him, then that's amazing: he should reconcile with them. "But if it's not then he should move on, and live his own life to the fullest - he's got his name and a huge platform. He can use it like I did. Under the microscope "With a family that is in the spotlight, you do get backlash if you do absolutely anything. 17 17 "My mum always told me that being in the spotlight is not good, that it's detrimental to your health. "But everyone I've met in the industry, I love. "My mum made me think of fame as such a negative space that when I did go out into the whole social world, I thought, 'There's so many upsides to this.' "I quickly realised I could start my own business, make my own money - and all I needed was an Instagram account. I can make my own business. I can make my own money by myself through an Instagram that all I need is followers for. "My mum did photoshoots when I was a baby, but throughout my life I wasn't allowed to be shown on socials. "I wasn't allowed to be photographed until I was about 15 or 16 years old. "So, obviously from that, you get excited and then you see everything that you can do and you're like, obviously I'm going to do that so I can be independent. "It gave me a new found sense of freedom. "So if Brooklyn wants the pressure off, then cutting ties is one way to do it. 17 17 17 "I can't control my parents' reaction to my job - and they can't control me anymore. "I'm fulfilled now. I've got my little puppy and I'm happy. Brooklyn could be, too. 17 17 17 17 17
