Warman RCMP looking for escaped inmate who stole van

The Warman RCMP detachment is asking the public to be on the lookout for 39-year-old Michael Landry who escaped from the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
According to an RCMP news release, Landry was part of a crew doing work in the Highway 11 area north of Saskatoon when he stole a van and fled shortly before 1:30 p.m.
RCMP described Landry as about six feet two inches tall with a heavy build and brown hair and brown eyes. He also has many tattoos that include four large numbers on the back of his neck and large letters and a teardrop on his cheek, RCMP said.
Landry was last seen wearing a grey shirt and green pants, according to RCMP.
Police said the van Landry drove away with is a 2007 grey E350 15 passenger van with the Saskatchewan licence plate number 531-FRZ
RCMP said Landry has connections to both Regina and Saskatoon.
If seen he should not be approached, RCMP said.
