What our Post expert thinks about FIFA Club World Cup Final Chelsea's path to the Final started out pretty tough, as the Blues were placed in perhaps the toughest group in the tournament with LAFC, ES Tunis, and Flamengo. Chelsea was able to advance from the group stage and then caught a break by being placed in the top half of the bracket, meaning they avoided Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and PSG until now. This will be a big step up in class for Chelsea, but the Blues have seemingly found their form as the tournament has gone on, and their 2-0 win over Fluminense in the semifinals was a comprehensive effort. The 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup will come down to USA vs. Mexico on Sunday. The United States Men's National Team defeated Guatemala, 2-1, to reach Sunday's showpiece, while Mexico ousted Honduras, 1-0, in the semifinals. Fanatics is offering new users a no-sweat first bet of up to $1,000 for the 2025 Gold Cup Final between USA and Mexico. Although Mexico defeated the USMNT, 2-0, in their last meeting, that was an international friendly. Team USA is unbeaten (four wins, one draw) in the last five competitive matches between the two rivals, though two of those victories came in extra time. Fanatics Sportsbook promo: New users get $1,000 no sweat first bet for FIFA Club World Cup
Gambling content 21+. The New York Post may receive an affiliate commission if you sign up through our links. Read our editorial standards for more information. The quarterfinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup should conclude with a bang Saturday. Four of the best teams in the world — Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich will be in action — with two advancing to the semifinals. Madrid and PSG are the favorites in their respective matches, but Dortmund and Bayern are more than capable of pulling an upset. Fanatics is offering new users a no-sweat first bet of up to $1,000 for the FIFA Club World Cup. What our Post expert thinks about the FIFA Club World Cup A showdown between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, the current and former club of Kylian Mbappe, would be a massive boost for the FIFA Club World Cup, but don't be shocked if we see one of the German clubs spoil that dream. Bayern is one of the best teams in the world, while Dortmund have proven to be a terrific tournament team over the last handful of seasons. FIFA Club World Cup odds, picks: Bayern Munich vs. PSG best bets, predictions
Gambling content 21+. The New York Post may receive an affiliate commission if you sign up through our links. Read our editorial standards for more information. Two of the best clubs in the world will meet in the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Bayern Munich, the champions of the Bundesliga, will take on Paris Saint-Germain, just one month removed from winning the Champions League, at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday. PSG is a -155 favorite to advance and has +120 odds to win the match in regulation. FIFA Club World Cup: Bayern vs. PSG betting preview It's really hard to say we've learned anything new about these two teams at the FIFA Club World Cup. We knew that PSG and Bayern were among the best clubs in the world coming into the competition, and nothing has really changed. They both had some terrific performances in their first four matches in the States, and they both had a slip-up against a big underdog. Those kinds of results are to be expected in a tournament like this, so there was no real cause for concern, especially since both teams responded well in their following match. There's a ton of offensive talent on display in this match, but it's the defensive side of the ball that is notable for these two clubs in this tournament. Harry Kane of Bayern Munich celebrates a goal in the FIFA Club World Cup. IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters PSG's defense has been stupendous through the first four matches of the competition, allowing just one goal and 2.2 expected goals in four matches. Those are the best marks in the 32-team field. Bayern's defense hasn't been as dominant, but they're not far off. The Bavarians have conceded four goals and 3.0 xG in four matches. Get the lowdown on the Best USA Sports Betting Sites and Apps FIFA Club World Cup: Bayern vs. PSG pick There is very little that separates these two teams in this competition. Bayern and PSG both have game-breakers up front, they're in terrific form on defense and they are well-organized outfits. The Under 2.5 goals feels like the best bet on the board, but Bayern is also worth a play as a +200 underdog on the three-way moneyline in what is a coin flip. The Plays: Under 2.5 goals (-185) | Bayern Munich (+200, BetMGM) Why Trust New York Post Betting Michael Leboff is a long-suffering Islanders fan, but a long-profiting sports bettor with 10 years of experience in the gambling industry. Chelsea vs. Palmeiras odds, picks: FIFA Club World Cup best bets, predictions Friday
Gambling content 21+. The New York Post may receive an affiliate commission if you sign up through our links. Read our editorial standards for more information. Sometimes a draw just breaks your way. That's exactly what's happened with Chelsea at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are all on the bottom half of the bracket, but Chelsea is on the top with Palmeiras, Al-Hilal, and Fluminense. The path is wide open for the Blues to get into the FIFA Club World Cup. FIFA Club World Cup: Chelsea vs. Palmeiras preview The FIFA Club World Cup featured plenty of cannon fodder, but Chelsea were in a difficult group with Flamengo, LAFC, and ES Tunis. The Blues slipped up against Flamengo in a 3-1 defeat, but they took care of business on either side of that match to qualify for the Round of 16. The defeat to Flamengo was a bit of a shock to the system, but it actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it put Chelsea in the top half of the bracket, pitting them against Benfica in the Round of 16. Chelsea's 4-1 win over Benfica was strange. The match went to extra time tied 1-1, and the two clubs were forced off the pitch for a two-hour weather delay, but the Blues were deserving winners. Chelsea created 2.7 expected goals and four big scoring chances in the contest, while holding Benfica to just 1.2 xG and one big chance. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall celebrates a goal for Chelsea. FIFA via Getty Images It was a weird match, but it was the most impressive display from the Blues in this tournament. They'll need to bring that form with them on Friday night as they take on Palmeiras, one of the tournament's surprise packages. Like a lot of South American teams, Palmeiras prefer to play a physical, low-event style of soccer and make life difficult for their opponents. They played a snoozer against Botafogo in the Round of 16, winning 1-0 in extra time. That match featured just 2.43 expected goals and two big scoring chances combined, which is exactly what Palmeiras will want Friday night. Get the lowdown on the Best USA Sports Betting Sites and Apps FIFA Club World Cup: Chelsea vs. Palmeiras pick Chelsea will want this game to open up, but the last thing the Blues can afford is to get caught and fall behind early. That would allow Palmeiras to sit back and do their thing. The Blues likely have too much talent for Palmeiras and get through, but this one should get off to a sluggish start. The Play: Same-Game Parlay: 1H Under 0.5 goals/Chelsea ML (+525, BetMGM) Why Trust New York Post Betting Michael Leboff is a long-suffering Islanders fan, but a long-profiting sports bettor with 10 years of experience in the gambling industry.
