FDNY lieutenant arrested in Queens: NYPD
QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – An FDNY lieutenant was arrested in Queens on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
Michael Scannapieco, 43, was taken into custody at 218th Street and Northern Boulevard around 5:30 p.m., sources told PIX11 News. Police officers in the area were apparently flagged down for reports of a collision, sources said.

Police said Scannapieco was charged with DWI, DWAI, refusal to take a breathalyzer test and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
It's unclear where the crash happened and how many vehicles were involved, sources said.
